The process to schedule the appt over the phone took longer than I expected and someone snagged up the 2:30pm. I had to settle for the 5:30pm, which I guess wasn't too bad. I was hesitant to try Nina out because it was just her second day here and there were no reviews for me to refer to. I took the chance and it ended up working out. I got there on time, completed the paper work and Nina took me in to get prepped. She showed me a few pics as reference and I showed her what I wanted and the lengths [10,12,13 and 14]. We wrapped up at 7pm and my lashes looked good. My eyes weren't red and none of the lashes were stuck together. I do wish she alternated the lengths a little bit more like I requested but I'll make sure that happens upon my refill. Few things to note: there's plenty of parking, the shop is very clean and you get $10 if you leave a review on Yelp with a picture and another $10 if you pre-book your refill appt 14 days after your initial appt.

Why I went back, I question every day. She doesn't change the sheets between clients, she offers a blanket every time that I know is not washed between clients, so I decline. She doesn't leave her chair when she calls her next client into her station. I'm not sure how she has time to sterilize her equipment; therefore, I don't think she does. This last time I went to her, I got a horrible infection that resulted in my eyelashes falling out. I have no eye eyelashes! The pain was unbelievable, so much so that I almost went to the emergency room. I couldn't sleep, my eyes were red and felt like they were bulging out of my head! I went to my eye doctor twice and thank goodness my eyes are okay and I'm grateful for that. However, I have no eyelashes! I questioned her in the past about the eye infections I've had and questioned her about her sterilization procedures. In her broken English, she told me she does sterilize between clients. I do not believe that she sterilizes her tools. I've have two friends who have also gotten eye infections from her. One day as I was waiting for my appointment, a lady was checking out and questioning the receptionist as to why her eyes have been so itchy and red the last time she got her eyelash extensions. That should've been my clue, amongst others, to not return. When I go to my nail salon, they open a package of tools that have been through a sterilization process. Hannah's business does not do that! Shame on me for returning and I learned my lesson the hard way. She did return my money, including my tip and offered me free eyelash extensions when my eyelashes grow back, really? I will never get eyelash extensions again. I'm grateful that my eyes were not permanently damaged. My eyelashes will grow back, but I will never get eyelash extensions again. Please be aware that it appears that Hannah is violating health codes. I have notified the health department. She could truly damage someone's eyes permanently! It's just not worth the risk. Hopefully she will get a violation and get her act together by changing the sheets between clients, bringing a new blanket in each time a client walks into her station and properly sterilizes her tools with the proper sterilization equipment. This is a disaster waiting to happen... I was lucky there was only my eye eyelashes and my eyesight was not damaged. Hannah, I've seen that you have responded to others who have given you a low rating. Don't you dare respond to this one with any excuses. Hopefully the health department will be knocking on your door any day now. I would suggest that you get your act together and sterilize your equipment and change the sheets! That's disgusting!

The staff was very quick with scheduling an appointment and got me an earlier time as spots opened up. It's located in a spacious plaza with good parking. I didn't know it was in the same plaza as Tree House cafe. Sam did my eyelashes and it turned out just how I wanted. I asked for a natural look that would still open up my eyes. The application took about 2 hours. She took her time and everything went smoothly. I even dozed off a little as soon as my eyes closed. I didn't have any irritations or discomfort during the appointment. For first time client, it's $89 for a classic full set. Refills are usually every two to three weeks. Overall, I was very happy with the results and will continue to come back.

The company explained that this is normal because these are not permanent lashes. I usually get lash extensions from another place and they usually last for at least 3 weeks with minimum fall out. Because of this I don't consistently attend chic lash boutique. In this economy today, if I pay a $150 for lashes. I want them to last at least 2-3 weeks without having to touch them up. My favorite lash artist is Mary, she's kind, and skilled.

Priscilla is drop dead the BEST. I've gone to several lash artists and no one can ever get my eyes…read moreright except her. Every single lash is laid with elegance. I get soooo much compliments about my lashes when I go to her. From the Sephora workers to even straight men at the apple store. I went with Hybrid lashes for half a year and switched over to Classics the other half. I honestly love both. These lashes are minks so it's darker and it adds a bit of "pop" to your eyes. They also don't weigh down your lashes so that just means the lashes aren't thick and heavy. Til this day my lashes are still long, healthy and strong Other lash artists typically just lay you down, start putting the lashes on right away, and once you're done they give you a brush then send you on your way. But not Ms. Prissy. She starts her process off with a "lash bath", where she cleans the lashes of any makeup residue & other dirty particles. Once the lashes are clean and dry, she puts a primer on (it basically sucks all the oils out of your lashes to help with retention, which helps the lashes to hang on longer), then she starts working on the lashes, and once you're done she puts a bonding glue on top which helps seal everything together. Once your eyes are open & ready to go she gives you a brush and ALWAYS tell you "make sure 48 hours" meaning DO NOT WET YOUR LASHES FOR 48 HOURS. If you need to wash your hair, wash your hair before coming to your appointment is my suggestion. These steps right here ladies & gentlemen is literally what I look for in every lash artist that I go to. Not only is her work of art is amazing, but it shows that she cares about sanitization, the extra steps into making your eyes look beautiful and stay on longer. I'd like to add that she's very light handed & neat but she does go to town & get it done perfectly. Every time I open my eyes I am never disappointed by her work. I can literally open my eyes and not look in the mirror and be filled with joy when I see them in my car. My lashes usually last about 3-4 weeks til I need a refill. For a girl who touches her eyes & scratches it a lot, that's a pretty long time if you ask me!

I decided to get my lashes removed since it's been some time and they were starting to look TOO sparse. Tammy was very sweet and observant with how I was feeling, making sure my eyes were stinging, the light wasn't too bright, and that I was comfortable. The lash studio was superrrrr clean and it smelled... amazing! the lash removal cream she used also smelled so so good. Everything in this place just smells tutti frutti! While she was taking my lashes off, she educated me some bit on how lashes work, whats the best kind of curl to have for my eyes, how to make them last longer, how to wash them properly and so on. It made the atmosphere very friendly and not awkward at all. I heavily recommended this place to my mom so she can try it out. Though I only got my lashes removed, I'd like to try her actual lash extensions when I am back for a longer period of time!
