This is my third visit to the recently opened boutique. I decided to give it a try since it was close to where I lived and worked. Mind you, I was a regular for several years at a place in the Mahatma Ghandi District, but getting there can get pretty cumbersome. Jen, the owner, was very personable and was waaaayyyy gentler than the lady I used to go to. I gave it a second try and came out with the same painless, excellent result on my brows. At Chic Lash they listen to what you want each time, are professional, and use great products. Both lash artists, Megan and Keyvone, are excellent. This place is not good. I just came here for the first time and I request Arti based on reviews. She is NOT good. I asked for a clean up and she said me in the chair and immediately started going. She didn't brush out my eyebrows or even glance at them. This resulted in her shortening my left eyebrow and taking off the square shape I've been slowly growing. Her response was "I didn't know". You didn't know because you didn't even bother to look at both of them!!! I had to go back inside to get my lip redone because she left so much hair behind. Also, the front desk lady have me attitude and was so expensive for such a horrible job. I have gone to places much less expensive for much better and absolutely will not be returning here. I now have to go buy an eyebrow pencil to go cover up her mistakes. read more

I usually go the older ladies in Harwin who still think that pencil-thin eyebrows are "in," no matter how many times I request that my eyebrows stay THICK! Exactly what the doctor ordered! I have very thick, natural brows that have a tendency to grow a little control. After getting burned from a bad waxing experience (literally), I decided to give threading a go. I am so happy with my cleaned up brows - they have a better shape, the length is cleaned up, but they're still natural and thick like I like! I'm definitely planning on coming back regularly. Stumbled on this place while exploring salons for lash extensions. Although I'm still debating whether or not to go ahead with the extensions, I decided to go in on a Saturday afternoon for threading. They have a few reserved parking spots (a plus in a busy shopping center), and I don't think I even waited 5 minutes which is great for a walk-in. I scheduled an appointment with Arti to get my eyebrows threaded and tinted. It was my first time for both of these services so I was a little nerves. Arti was amazing. The place is clean and the staff very friendly. I've stopped by twice to have my eyebrows threaded. Each time they have seen me quickly without an appointment. Came here after having my lashes done at a nearby equivalently priced place. Was pleasantly surprised how soft the lashes feel so there's no accidental "eyeball stabbing" with the occasional eye rub. They look and feel very natural and absolutely no need for mascara unlike my previous false eyelash attempts. Highly recommend this place if you're considering false eyelashes for the first time. AMAZING! I have thin brows, and they only needed shaping. The technician who threaded them looked at them (face-to-face) BEFORE she started ..& then went to work. It was as pain-free as threading can be, and it didn't take long. My eyebrows look natural -- not too thin (in shape). Great thing about this place: online booking! It was wonderful to get in and get out! I was really hesitant having my eyebrows done again by someone new. The last time it was terrible and I needed someone that I could trust. After seeing all the reviews on Yelp I chose here and wasn't disappointed. I initially went in for just an eyelash tinting. Which was excellent, really relaxing and smooth. She was very gentle and careful about the tinting and explained the whole process. I was curious abut the eyebrow threading but was also scared to get my eyebrows threaded because of a horror experience at another place. Making an appointment was easy to do, I was also attended right away when I got there. I didn't get her name but I did ask if she would recommend that I get my eyebrows tinted. I used to get my eyebrows waxed, but I was forced to find another place when the lady I went to moved to Katy. I did a lot of research, and I decided that I would try threading instead as it is supposed to be much better for your skin and hair follicles. While Chic Lash is definitely more expensive than the other places I looked into ($15 a pop), they had way better reviews and is in a more convenient location for me; therefore, I took the plunge. For those who have done threading before, it was a very weird first experience - it actually made me sneeze a lot, but the lady was very nice and would stop and give my tissues until my sneezing fit ended. She did a fantastic job - my eyebrows have never had this much to them before (they are pretty straight naturally, and people in the past always said that they couldn't add shape to them...they could just clean them up). I personally have very sensitive skin, so I do tend to get a lot of small little red bumps after the threading (and they last about 2 or 3 days). With waxing, the bumps would last for almost a week. I told the lady that this happens, and she started to use baby powder to help soothe the skin as she works, and also puts aloe vera on it afterwards - they definitely care about their customers! read more

I tried this boutique brow service shop for the first time and was not disappointed. The shop is extremely clean and well decorated. The staff is friendly and the young woman who did my eyebrow threading was thorough and did great work. I will definitely be back. So worth it! I used to go to hillcroft, never again will I go back to hillcroft. Theresa is awesome! And so is the other girl who threads (I forgot her name).
