After lunch, my friend and I decided to come check out some watches. The location is a stand alone and easy to get to. You are greeting by a security officer and he was really friendly. We were greeting by a nice lady and offered us a drink while we shopped. I got sparkling water and my buddy got a coffee. They only sell 2 watch brands here: Tudor and Rolex. We quickly looked at the Tudor area but the sales staff was busy so we headed over to the Rolex area. We were helped immediately from a sales staff member and we were shown a couple watches. We asked what they had in stock and they only had a few lady pieces and had 1 DateJust in stock which is what I was looking for but it was the Bright Blue and I really want the Mint Green. Do I just get it or get what I want? I decided to get and wait for exactly what I want. It was so hard to pass up but don't just settle. We made our way to the Tudor area and I looked at the Black Bay Chrono which was impressive. After trying this on and feeling the watch, I have quickly added to my list of a future watch to purchase. I love the fact the staff is nice and answered all of our questions. They were not trying us to convince us to make a purchase. Even when I was waffling on the DateJust, the sales person agreed, get what you want and don't settle. I'll stop buy to check on their stock. The best Rolex AD I've been to. Was welcomed by Cassandra and she was very personable, funny, and knowledgeable. Most of the other Jewelers I've been to that carried Rolex were not very friendly, and dare I say, snobby. This location was recently opened and was beautiful and clean. The whole 9 yards. They told me they also do in house Rolex servicing with lvl. 60 certified watchmakers, so I won't have to send my watches all over the place to get them fixed up. I'm very impressed. I'm not Mr. Moneybags by any means but they treated me with respect and kindness. I did not get the vibe I get from other jewelers who always try to get you to buy random shit to buy the thing you want. I have been in this store on two occasions, and though I have not had the opportunity to buy something, I do want to tell you that I was treated extremely well both by salespersons and the owner, Bradley Robbins. I was offered coffee, and a discussion of watches that was informative, and never felt pushed into a sale. On my first visit, they were dealers for both Omega and Rolex, but now their wristwatch offerings are strictly Rolex and its sister company Tudor. Although it was clear that I was looking for something other than their excellent but limited inventory, Mr. Robbins could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Exceptional work! I contacted them through the website to get a sentimental ring repaired as it was broke in half and in bad shape. I've had it for 13 years and it was a gift from a friend that had passed away. So you can imagine my grief when the ring was damaged and I needed high end jeweler to repair it. I had been looking for a Victorinox Swiss Army Dive Master Mecha watch for some time, and had been looking on Amazon for a good deal. Sure good deals can be had on Amazon, but the manufacturer's warranty is not valid. Amazon warranties the watches they sell with their own two year (vs. three years from Victorinox) warranty. How can you guarantee you'll get it serviced properly with the right parts? You can't. I decided to casually email Persin and Robbin Jewelers to see if they had the watch in stock, and later that evening Brad e-mailed me back. He was very helpful. After speaking with him over the phone, I decided to stop in their shop. Brad was very helpful, and I decided on the spot to place an order for the watch through their store. The price was a bit more, but in the end, I am dealing with an local Authorized Dealer not too far from where I live and my 3 year warranty is valid. Two weeks later, I received a call that it arrived. It came new in the box, and their staff quickly had it sized to my liking. I shouldn't have to prove myself to a jewelry store but I took my drivers license out of my wallet and he batted me away as I tried to show him I live here. Purchased an Omega watch awhile back and had it engraved for my secretaries corporate anniversary. When the watch was picked up and payment was made, I noted a charge of 6.00 for a new battery in addition to the purchase price of the watch. Though they no longer handle the Omega brand, my family had done business with the firm from the 1960s. They do fine jewelry repair...and yes, this might be an old gripe, but who sells a new watch and then charges for a new battery at time of purchase? Salesperson name was Radica.Yes, the sale may have been 20 years ago, but SIMPLY, when you buy a new multi thousand dollar watch that requires a battery, it is nice for them to furnish a new one at time of purchase. It shouldn't be added on to the invoice as an extra charge. Sadly, I'll only go back there for jewelry repair. Since Ben Persin passed, years ago, the new management/ownership isn't the same. I walked in, and was immediately welcomed by Brad, one of the owners. He politely asked me what brought me into the store, and I told him I needed a new watch battery. He took me over to the other side of the store, where his watch maker was, introduced us, and my watch was then taken into the back for a battery change. While waiting, I admired all of the beautiful jewelry in the store. One of Brad's staff member (I forgot her name) made small talk with me and took interest in the type of jewelry I liked, which I thought was cool. She showed me some beautiful pieces and gave me the option to try it on. It was just nice to see that everyone took interest in me, knowing that I was in there for a simple and inexpensive battery change. Our second experience was when we had some jewelry passed down to us from a deceased family member. We were curious as to what it was worth, so we made an appointment with Brad to sit down with him and discuss. Again, super professional and friendly. After 41 years the diamond fell out of my engagement ring (found!), and I did not know what to do about that. I remembered that a few years ago my son-in-law took his grandmother's wedding rings and had them redone in a modern setting as an engagement ring for my daughter (beautiful!).
