Ok,so I have been going here for many yrs.I have bought alot of jewelry including a 10k diamond…read moreanniversary ring. The amount of money that I've spent here is crazy. Even though I'm a good customer they are still rude, still argue, and don't do their jobs. I recently sent my wife there to do inspection on jewelry. When my wife went in,she had asked them to send out my gold bracelet to have the clasp fixed. The old guy behind the counter insisted on fixing it him self.my wife said no thank you,my husband was very specific about sending it out. The employee basicly refused (even though I have the warranty on it and that's covered in it) I may never be spending money here again after this!

I was reminded recently why I simply cannot stand this location. The employees here are beyond rude…read moreand I don't even think they realize how rude they are. Now granted, I'm not a huge Kay's fan anyway, but my engagement and wedding rings are from Kay's and so I am forced to go to a location every six months for the warranty on my ring. (Which by the way has broken so many times that I have recently been given a store credit in which I will have to give my ring back and pick out a new one) So anyway, as you can see I have a problem with Kay's. I remember a few years ago when my diamonds continually fell out or became broken that an associate then asked me 'do you take a hammer to your ring?' Umm... What? I went for my dreaded warranty check up. When walking in I got a how can I help you. I wanted my rings checked and gave them to her. She then looked at my ring and asked if I wanted to upgrade my diamond. To me, that is simply flat out rude. You have no backstory on my diamond or knowledge of the history. Don't ask something like that. I am supposed to be going to their diamond event soon to get my new ring. I asked about the date where I was told I needed to make an appointment. I was then asked again if want to upgrade my diamond. Again, I said no and explained that I have a credit for a new ring because mine has broken so many times. What are your times I ask 11 or 12. Well, it's a Friday and we both work. You have nothing later? No, what time can you come then 7 We're done at 7 Okay 6 Um, no we can't do that either. So she walks away and I'm really just wanting my rings back by now. She comes with a paper and starts filling it out saying we have an appt at 6 for the event. I told her it was too far for us to drive and I wouldn't be coming. She again asked if I was sure I wouldn't want to upgrade my diamond (again diamond not ring). I was about ready to L.M.S. ( I'll let you figure that out) when I said no and asked for my rings and to leave. She did of course have to throw in there that she trained the new manager at my preferred location and that he was a result of her great teachings. Never again will I go into this store.

I chose this person because of the rating and response from people. Unfortunately, the experience…read morewas not that great. When we first started talking and attempt to set up an appointment for a time. I was told any time after 11am. So I showed up around 230ish and no one was home. So he tells me he on a service call and his wife will be back in 20 min. Or so. So after coming back I met his wife to do a drop off. She told me that her husband will contact me with in a week or maybe less. Well a week went by and no answer. So I called the guy wanting to see where he was at with the clock. He tells me he on a service call and he'll call me back in 2 hours. Two hours went by and no call back so I waited. Another week goes by without a peep from him (now 2 weeks in) so I call again to see were he at with the clock if he even look at it yet. he tells me that he busy on another service call and he'll have the estimate the next day around 6-7 pm I said okay and waited. And of course the next day came and no respond. Yet again another week goes by without a peep from him. So three week has gone by and I had gotten no answer from him if looked at the clock, on what's wrong with the clock, what it will take to fix the clock, how much it would cost, and how long it will take. Nothing at this point, I still haven't even met this guy yet either. I get it if he's busy but communicate that with the person. Maybe actually be there to meet the person at the beginning And don't tell people you're going to do something and not communicate. You made me feel like I just gave a con man my property. The only good thing was I was able to get my clock back without a problem.

Prompt, honest, knowledgeable, reasonably priced. My grandfather clock is around 40 years old, it…read morehad stopped working. He did a few things and got it running.
