new scratch noticed after I picked up my unit that wasn't there prior
    alexandra k.

I was impressed by some aspects, but then disappointed in one major way. Customer service: Great! I spoke with a couple of people over the course of 3 phone calls. I don't remember who I spoke with over the phone, but after much troubleshooting on my own, I called to ask for their opinion. Obviously, not much could be determined over the phone without them seeing my unit, but they patiently answered my questions, were courteous, and I never felt rushed. Service: Easy drop-off, and you enter all your information electronically. Quick and easy. Unfortunately, the price for fixing my unit was not worth the cost, so I ended up just paying the diagnostic fee. When I went to pick up my unit, there was damage to the top of my laptop which were not there prior to me dropping them off.

The prices are also super reasonable, so if you need something fixed, just go! It will probably cost less than you think, and save you a lot of stress from your phone/tech not working. I first went 4+ years ago because I broke my headphone jack off in my phone. It was an easy fix for them and I felt silly for waiting so long to come in. My boyfriend has taken his different phones in for various issues, usually screen-related: cracked, non-responsive, distorted, etc. They've always been able to repair/replace it quickly. Overall, I trust the quality of their work, the prices are reasonable, and they're very kind. I highly recommend them!

They were pleasant and professional and we exchanged a bit of humor over the phone and in person. Unfortunately, just two weeks later, a noticeable black blob appeared on the new screen near the Dynamic Island. This looks like OLED screen bleed or a defect. The phone has remained in a case with a screen protector the entire time and has not been dropped, bumped, or otherwise mishandled. Given the timing (only 2 weeks after installation) and the specific location of the spot, this issue is almost certainly the result of either a defective replacement screen or a problem during installation (such as trapped dust, adhesive, or pressure damage). It is not consistent with normal use or accidental damage. I offered to bring the phone in so they could inspect it in person, but they declined and immediately dismissed the warranty claim without examination. While I understand repairs aren't perfect, I'm disappointed they are unwilling to stand behind their work and honor the warranty on what is clearly a post-repair defect. I went from a satisfied customer who would have returned and recommended them to someone who can no longer do so. Potential customers should be aware that warranty support may not be reliable here. EDIT: Contrary to the response below the phone was never physically inspected. Rather, the response was based on a set of photos sent showing the issue which, alone, would be virtually impossible to come to a conclusion of physical damage versus defective product. As a customer, you are in a no win situation here as no matter what happens they are going to blame you and not the manufacturer or installation for the problem.

The owner, Sultan Shariff told me he would install it on my computer at a student discount rate of $100. He installed the software and provided a printed receipt that reflected a total cost of $113.30 with tax and surcharge. No other details regarding the product are on the receipt. When I got home and reviewed the product key he texted to me I saw it was for Office 2021, not the current version 2024. I called Microsoft to discuss the differences and found out that Office 2021 would no longer be supported by Microsoft as of October 2026. That is less than 60 days from installation. I contacted Mr. Shariff because he did not disclose that he was installing old software that would be too obsolete to merit support and updates from Microsoft. I am a senior citizen and feel duped. This is Mr. Shariff's field of expertise and I believe he was well aware he was installing outdated software on the computer of an unsuspecting customer. If Mr. Shariff had informed me that he would be installing an older version of the software for $100, versus the current 2024 version, I would have declined the installation. I requested a refund and also attempted to offer a compromise on the amount of the refund request. He declined, saying no refund is provided once the software has been installed. He offered to install Office 2024 for an additional cost. I declined because I had been misled by his lack of disclosure and trust was broken. I am out of $100 and still have to purchase Office 2024. Seeking recourses for restitution.

Plus u have to get up , go to best buy, and wait in line. Called these folks up after seeing all the positive reviews and they didnt disappoint. So he took my laptop and external hd to try to get the data from it. Unfortunately, it was fried pretty badly, but they work with another company that specializes in data recovery. I had my important data backed up already, so i decided to get a new computer all together bc i compromised on the original one that fried out. Figured i would just get the one i really wanted. They recycled the old computer and returned my external hd the same day i made the decision. Throughout the process, i was completely informed of their progress via email. If i wanted to replace my hd and recover windows, i wouldve gladly given them my business. I ended up paying only for the diagnosis I would wholeheartedly recommend these folks to anyone with computer issues, both to diagnose and fix

When I dropped my phone and had a white line going down the screen, I filed a claim to have it fixed. I was expecting to have to go to an AT&T store, but all the uBreakiFix spots popped up as well. This spot is closer to me than any AT&T store so I came here on a Monday morning to drop it off. It wasn't busy, and after giving my phone number they were able to look up my claim and asked me to come back in 90 minutes. Used that time to get lunch (but was also sadly reminded a lot of restaurants are closed Mondays). I came back a little early and my phone was all set to go. Since it was via my insurance the payment just shows up in the phone bill. My only complaint was they put a screen protector on which I thought was nice, until I realized it was covering up the part of the phone you put your ear on - I was confused why my calls were so muffled. Still, not much to complain about! Obviously this is a unique scenario as I'm not just coming in with a random problem, and I assume my issue was a common one, but at least I can say they fixed my minor phone problem well.

Brought in a Tascam Model 16 that wasn't connecting via USB to my computer or any other USB device…read more I sent them an email and didn't get an initial response, which is fine I thought why not just bring it by and drop it off. They are by appointment only for drop-offs and are VERY aggressive about nobody entering the premise. I didn't need them to look at it that day, I just wanted to drop it off. I get they are by appointment only, but were very rude when I asked if I could just drop it off. The technician agreed to take it in and asked what was wrong with it. Told him the it wasn't registering as a USB device. He told me that since it was a digital issue it'd be at least $200-$300 which seemed weird since he hadn't even looked at it yet. I suggested it might just be the USB jack or corresponding PCB, he acted like that was a stupid suggestion. Charged me $100 (cash only, also sketchy) for a bench fee/diagnostics. It wasn't until after I left that I started reading other alarming reviews and decided I didn't want them to go through with any work. The proper way technicians work is they call you with a work estimate before starting any repairs. Instead, I emailed to tell them not to worry about doing any work, and I'd just eat the $100. They said that the technician already started repairs, which again I never approved or received any quote/estimate. I called and emailed multiple times demanding an invoice, and never received anything. The next week they tell me to come pick it up. I show up to find that the technician said it's "unserviceable" that an IC was fried. So, no, they technician did not start on any repairs, that was a lie. At this point I'm just glad to have my mixer back before they could do any damage or charge a crazy repair fee without my approval. Suspicious that their technician didn't know what he was talking about, I took it to Deltronics on Grand Ave. They charged me $75 for a bench fee, a week later told me it was in fact the USB port (like I suggested) and charged me a total of $130 to repair it. Just got it back and works just like new. I posted this same review to google reviews, and they claimed that I'm some kind of bot asking them for money to remove the review. I am in fact not a bot but just a person irritated by their bad service.

I locate a motor and call Ray and he refuses to install it because he claims it won't work. I send my unit to a guy in Florida I find on ebay that says he has repaired these decks for 40 years and has found new replacement motors that he installs and they work great for another 40 years. So he repairs it and sends it back to me in 6 day turnaround. Now I am out 360.00 and now another 250.00 plus shipping but this guy is great the unit works like new and he went through the deck and replaced a bag of parts that he sent me so he did a full referb, he says to me if he had to testify in court he would swear no one has ever opened this unit but him and replaced anything, he said all the parts that Ray would have replaced for a referb were not replaced the Florida guy replaced all of the needed parts and sent me back what he did. Communication with Florida was great, now I was out more money, lesson learned I guess This deck has costed me 300.00 more then I planned but boy it plays like nothing i have heard before in a cassette deck and works like it is new. Ray did a referb on a sx-980 of mine several years ago and it works great but I am now leary that he even did anything to it but tune the tuner and replace some bulbs that cost me 300.00 cash. So do I recommend Ray at Just Service "HELL NO" I think he is a shyster and crook and he treats you like dirt and you don't know anything. Don't take a toaster there.
