Dr. Hoffman is by far one of the best, if not the best dentist in Chgo. He is caring, compassionate and always conscientious of your time. I have never had a dentist that was always on time! He has two locations, River North and West Loop. Both locations are pristine and equipped with everything. During my last visit (teeth whitening) I watched Netflix during the entire procedure. CDS is a great dental office if your into top notch oral care. They invest a lot in equipment, which makes me feel like they are giving my teeth the best care. I never have to wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment and the staff have always been great, never to pushy to upswell but will give you all the details on any extras if you want them. I also like that you can communicate with the office through text. I was able to get them my insurance information and let them know I was running a little late all via text which is far more convenient than having to call or email and wait for replies. I received a large, surprise bill 2-3 months after my services. They mailed and texted a "surprise" statement, no call with any explanation. The quote that I signed and agreed to and immediately paid after my services was not valid. They do not help check your insurance after the New Year and stated that it's the patient's responsibility to know their insurance, but will still give you a quote with your insurance prior to the service so that you think it's valid. read more

if I could give zero, I would. I have been a patient for a long time I don't go often because of dental anxiety but I go. I had full mouth gum grafting here the last one didn't take It got infected I wasn't treated well The women who does the procedure works primarily at a different office so getting follow up was difficult I spoke to the office manager, because I disputed my bill. she told me it was taken care of. I never heard another word about this not once i thought it was done. i made an urgent appointment for 4pm on monday they called me at 3 to tell me i owed collections, sent me a text-to the wrong patients number then the wrong email. i paid the amount in full-I was held hostage with no ability to look into the amount the bill nothing pay it or you cannot be seen-lovely when I got here they wanted proof of payment and since the collection agency was mailing it I had to get a shot of the transaction. it would have been great to take care of this a lot earlier it was a humiliating insulting experience and I watch the front desk staff whisper as they talk mad shit about patients the dentists and hygienist are great adding insult to injury they gave me a referral so I could take my business elsewhere so because I was upset because they HUMILIATED me they think I should find another dentist? is that the message you want your front desk staff to pass long? read more

No wonder this dental office has such a stellar reputation! I found CDS by chance, just a quick search on Yelp during work, clicked on an ad and voila, found the dentist I'll keep seeing for as long as in I'm the Chicagoland area. From the sweetheart at the front desk, to the awesome dental hygienist, to Dr. Hubbard and her assistant, I received nothing but an amazing dental experience. They were able to fit me in for my cleaning and initial patient exam as well as my cracked molar and chipped tooth all in my first visit. I was in the chair for 3.5 hours, which would have translated to much longer at a normal dental office. They made sure I was comfortable at all times and had plenty of breaks to feed the meter. The office is so clean and the technology is high-tech. I got to watch the Dr. design my crown and essentially "3D print" it, although I'm sure there is a much more appropriate word for the process. Everyone was so nice and welcoming, I highly suggest seeing Dr. Hubbard! read more

Chicago Dental Studio is the best dentist office in the city. I found them after going to a quack and Dr. U is such a professional. He corrected a previously poorly done filling and my teeth are much healthier under his care. I'm currently doing Invisalign and he has made himself available to address all my concerns. I recently relocated to SF and still fly in to see him, that's how good the service is. All the people in both offices are true professionals always friendly. Crushed it! I was on the hunt for a new dentist since my former dentist in West Town still requires vaccinated patients wear a face covering, in 2022... (obviously insane). But this review isn't about him, it's about CDS. The extremely friendly staff at the front desk and Katherine who did my teeth whitening were fantastic. Booking the appt was also a breeze and everything was done via text/email. Once of the docs came through to check out my teeth before the procedure, gave me a thumbs up and we were off. The teeth whitening process isn't the most pleasant thing I've ever done, but it's not a huge deal. Katherine was awesome at explaining things every step of the way and checked in on me about every 15 minutes as I drooled and sent emails from my phone. The front desk recommended I take 4 ibuprofen before the procedure, which they handed to me when I was checking in. I sort of shrugged it off and wasn't going to take them but they were a little persuasive so I did. Good choice! My teeth aren't super sensitive but towards the end of the procedure they started to hurt a little bit (like a 2 out of 10). They were sore for a couple of hours after we wrapped up, I took a couple more ibuprofen for the sensitivity and woke up today with it totally gone. The best part, my teeth are white! Noticeable difference for sure. And they also provide you with some custom made take home trays and enough whitening stuff for like 20 sessions. Overall, GREAT value and having the procedure done in the office is the way to go. I'll be booking a cleaning and check-up with these folks in a month or two. Thanks! read more

They insist on collecting their estimated fee on the date of service, instead of waiting for the insurance payment, and it is always an overpayment. On the past three occasions I have had to call them after the explanation of benefits and asked for a refund, they do not automatically refund your money, you have check your EOB and call them to ask for the refund. I have never had any other dentist, or any other medical professional ask me for a payment before the EOB. read more

Dr. Adam Unterbrunner and team are the best! When I was a kid, I had an accident that caused a large portion of my front teeth to fall out. I've had my front teeth bonded ever since and have never been fully satisfied with them. They were only redone individually for "emergency" incidents like breaking off from biting into something or even biting my nails (never again). Over the past few years they had become transparent, uneven, and didn't match the shape of my surrounding teeth... and a small cavity had started to form on on... So finally I figured it was time to find a new dentist and a more permanent solution. I knew I needed veneers or crowns but did NOT want to go to a dentist that wasn't experienced in cosmetic dental procedures. I did my research and went to multiple dentist to feel them out and hear what they had to say. Chicago dental studio had the BEST portfolio of work and Dr. Adam was extremely knowledgeable, honest, and friendly. They were the clear and obvious choice. I had my final Veneer procedure this evening and I could not be more happy with the results! They look so natural and perfectly fit in with the rest of my teeth. Honestly, even the temporaries looked amazing. I would highly recommend Dr. Adam and team if you need any cosmetic dental work or even for a general check up. Your teeth will thank you. read more

They provide the best customer services from the administrative staff that greets you, to the dental hygienists and that doctors that serve during your appointment. I wasn't impressed with my last dental office and had been looking for a new one for a couple years. I finally decided to do some research online and came across this practice. I am so glad I gave this office a shot - they are fantastic (I go to the west loop location)! I used to work for a dentist so am very particular about my cleanings and I feel like the hygienists here are thorough, kind and knowledgeable. I haven't had any fillings or other procedures done, but Dr. Bosworth has been great when doing my exams and seems to be very practical with his approach. I have been sold a mouth guard that shifted my teeth and then after have been completely misled by their staff in what would be covered by their practice. The staff and most importantly Dr. Unterbrunner would not apologize for their mistake and have thus lost not only my business, but the business of my brother, sister-in-law and friends. I have been going to Chicago Dental Studio for 4 years and up until today things were going well. That was until they decided to treat me like a criminal. I forgot to bring my health spending account card to my appointment. I asked if I could go get my card (I live 1 block away) or if I can call the office in the morning and provide my card number. The receptionist told me to go into the room for my deep cleaning and that she would let me know. A few minutes later she appears in the room, after the hygienist already put the little paper thingy around my neck, and asks me to put a credit card on file since I did not have my HSA card. She said if I did not do that, I would have to reschedule my appointment. Really? Reschedule because you don't want to wait until tomorrow for the $110 payment? What kind of crackhead, low-budget crap is that? I have been a patient for 4 years and was not going to skip town for $110. If this practice is so hard up for money, I'd rather take my business elsewhere. Needless to say, I left quietly and will not be going back. I am very big on service and this place leaves a lot to be desired in the service aspect. I'd like to offer this advice to the office manager: Dental offices are a dime a dozen. Excellent service and being easy to work with is what sets you apart from the rest. Treat your patients like you value them or else you will find them leaving to other practices that appreciate their business. By the way, the only reason I gave them 2 stars, instead of one is that at least the receptionist wished me a happy New Year(in retrospect perhaps that was meant as sarcasm). read more
