My family and I absolutely love this place but we prefer to build our own pizza which our friends love too. Its delicious! Deep dish: 1. Mozzarella, Parmesan and Romano 2. Mushroom, spinach, red onion and garlic 3. Chucks tomato on top

Chicago Fire in Meridian is a great place to gather, eat, and have drinks with family and/or friends. The building is set up like 3 large rooms when you walk in. To the left is the room with the bar and tall top tables. Then directly ahead and to the right are dining rooms. Red walls and brick flanked by black booths and wood tables are the decor. The ambiance is classic, casual, and Chicago style. The food is yummy. They have a variety of appetizers to start your meal or to choose during happy hour with drinks. They have pizzas in thin crust, hand tossed and deep dish. Lots of pizzas to choose from or put on what toppings you like. There are salads in two sizes single and family size. Caesar, house and others. If you have room there are desserts as well. Check it out Our favorite tastes: The boneless wings are so delish. Actually better than traditional wing places. The deep dish pizza has a thicker , flaky type crust and it is topped with a large amount of toppings making it a filling and tasty bite. So many good items here.

Made a reservation for a large party on the phone and they blamed their reservation system for not having our table ready even though we received a text confirmation. Ready to give the place a fair shot (partly because our waitress was very nice), we moved past the reservation confusion and wait. It took an hour for our food to come out and tbh it was just okay. It's not the best pizza or wings but the ranch is fire. If I had to try the pizza again, I would get extra sauce because it was quite dry. Otherwise, the restaurant wasn't very busy, there was lots of parking, and the bathroom was clean.

Showed up on a Super Bowl Sunday we had the most amazing experience with Lucas. He was very attentive, very professional and made the experience top tier service first time in Chicago fire and we will definitely be back because of his hospitality and professionalism. Thank you, Lucas.!!!!!

The chicken pesto bake was disgusting. Chicken was very dry and the pasta was overcooked. Would not recommend.

Ask the Community - Chicago Fire - Meridian

    Do you offer vegan cheese?

We don't currently have a vegan cheese option. However, we are happy to build any pizza without cheese or other animal products.

Are there any gluten free options here?

Yes, we have several gluten free options. Both our gluten free pizza crust and (gluten free) cauliflower crust are available in our medium thin size. Both of our red pizza sauces are gluten free, we have a baked artichoke appetizer that is gluten…

I honestly hate giving out suggestions when people are wanting to go somewhere to eat. I want…read morepeople to experience the venue for themselves vs going off of my experience. Especially if I didn't enjoy it the first time. My family wanted Italian, I threw out a handful of joints. Of course I suggested il Sugo and I'm so disappointed that I did. My MIL made a reservation for 10. The last time I was in, we were actually comfortably seated with the 10 of us. We weren't crowded. It was lovely. This time, we were so congested. Our table was up against another two groups behind us. It was so hard to get in and out of. They had the sliding doors open so it was hot, crowded and congested. Not a pleasant way to dine. Our server got our orders started. The last time we were here, my husband got the seafood pasta and it was spicy. The shrimp pasta listed heat but not the seafood. After our server clarifying the difference few the two marinara sauces, they truly screwed up on my husband's plate the last time we were here. So today, my husband ordered the chicken parm with Alfredo sauce in his pasta. Making sure it was the right marinara. I got the meatballs again and my daughter ordered the filet mignon pasta. While we were waiting for our food, the busser, assistant, expo (whomever she was) cleared out our small plates. We didn't order any appetizers but the server said bread was coming. May I ask why you would clear out the small plates when bread is coming? We literally had bread crumbs all over the table cause there was nothing catching them. Texas Roadhouse, Longhorn Steakhouse, Luciano's, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Corso, Bittercreek, Stardust all have little plates out for their guests..... it's humorous you pull them. My meatballs were the same as last time, good. My husband's noodles were overly drenched with sauce. My daughter barely got any pasta in her 30 dollar plate. You can't label a pasta dish a pasta dish if there's no pasta in it. Especially if it's damn near 30 dollars. My youngest got the kids chicken Alfredo for her meal. Again, all chicken and no pasta. Kids would rather have the pasta vs the chicken. 15 bucks for a kid's meal with no pasta. I'm rather embarrassed that I even suggested this place. Thank goodness my family is more easy going than I am but we did share the same disappointments. Serve pasta in your pasta dishes. Your bigger bowls to deceive your customers that they are getting a lot is a lie. If you're going to charge 30 bucks for pasta, make sure your customers get their value. Leave your small plates for your guests. We don't want bread crumbs all over our laps and table. Make sure your chefs know the difference between your two marinara sauces. God forbid another guest has to suffer for your screw up.
