But when they came, it was worth the wait. I ordered a 14 oz new york strip. My family raises their own beef, so steak is nothing new to us. It was so good, I took a piece home to share with my family, and everyone agreed, it was fantastic. My girl had the rotisserie chicken, falling off the bone delicious, Colonel Sanders needs to step up his game. Another thing I can say, I find usually in high end restaurants I find myself still hungry afterwords, not here, I was completely satisfied with my meal. We ordered dessert, it was the vanilla bean something or other, don't eat fancy so I don't quite know these things. Here comes my only complaint, the sugar coating tasted a bit like burnt coffee, but was still delicious and we ate the whole thing. Before she brought it out, our server asked about the occasion. She took a picture of us with our dessert, which had writing in strawberry sauce, "happy anniversary". Like I said, we don't eat fancy often, especially because we feel unwelcome in many places with as young as we are (18 and 19), but this place made both me and my girl feel special, thank you land and ocean. He said his was cooked perfectly. My Filet Mignon was really really good. (crap? pickles?) Sorry, I forgot to put it in my notes, but they bring a little trio of yummies as kind of an amuse-bouche. The cheese was really good, I have the appetite of a bird so had a bit and left the rest for the hubs (who devoured it). They were out of Cheese Curds - which struck me as odd, because they hail from Wisconsin. It almost seems like you really need to *NEVER* run out of cheese curds, or am I wrong? (shrug, I did not ding them a star for this - the question is rhetorical) I didn't notice until I got home that their cheese curds are listed as 'beer battered'. I do wish I'd noticed that when I was there because I would have liked to have asked Joe how that happens. The whole point of cheese curds is their freshness and that they have that little squeak when you eat them. Okay, okay, I got sidetracked on cheese. A Wisconsin Style supper club in Boise, Idaho? What?!?…read more I was recently on a work trip to Boise and had plans to meet a couple friends for dinner on my first night in town. They suggested Baraboo Supper Club, having zero knowledge that there were any nods to Wisconsin here. Baraboo is a town in Wisconsin and this supper club is owned by a restaurant group in Wisconsin. Also, supper clubs are a very Wisconsin thing. So, does this live up to the Wisconsin Style Supper club hype? It does. It's not an exact replica of how we do it here in WI, but it's close enough to be charming. I enjoyed one of their whiskey cocktails, which was finely rendered. For my dinner, I got the salmon entree, which was delicious. It comes with broccoli and fingerling potatoes which made for the perfect meal. The dining room is warm, welcoming, and just beautiful. The service was friendly and accommodating. Get to it!

(I am a vegetarian and have tried a lot of veggie burgers; I appreciated that this one was truly made of veggies and beans, rather than fake meat!) My friends enjoyed their tacos and salmon. For all large parties there is a 20% gratuity that has already added on. He was very informative to let us know. Bathrooms are shared by multiple different restaurants that are in a common hallway. I would highly recommend checking out this place again just because of Roger was very easy to work with and very easy to communicate with.
