    Meridian Spicy Boi

First visit here was a couple of weeks ago. Got here before 5 PM, so they weren't all that busy yet. Grabbed a seat at the bar top and proceeded to order a brew and a burger. My choice was the Meridian Spicy Boi, and I considered it a wise choice. Excellent taste and cooked to perfection. The amount of accompying fries was perfect. Always hate to waste fries! They have plenty of beer choices on tap, more than I could mention, but something for everyone taste can be had. Their own Good Vibes was a decent IPA to pair with my burger. Like the spacious dining area inside. More room for everyone to meet and enjoy!

Returned back for another experience with Voodoo Brewing! I have to say this brewery does expand in leaps and bounds. For tge longest time they only had locations in the far east of the United States but then they slowly started opening franchise locations in western states and now they have two locations in the Boise area. I have to say I have always enjoyed Voodoo Brewing so this revisit was quite a pleasure. I love their swag and have a small collection of their t shirts. For the brewery experience this time we had the Belgian Tripel known as Voodoo Love Child. This was a very enjoyable one for sure with it's fruity, sweet, sour and strong flavor characteristics this was a refreshing change of pace as we often don't enjoy this beer type but always like it when we do! The body of the beerbis very smooth which makes the drinking experience with this beer all the more enjoyable!

Great place; especially on a warm day to sit on patio. Food and service is great. Variety of exploratory drinks to try. Can get noisy. Pickle pizza is okay but I'm sure some would love it. Nachos with chicken are awesome.

We came for a late lunch/early dinner on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered a seltzer & my husband had the west coast ipa. The seltzer cocktail was really good! We had the turkey club & chicken sandwich. Food was really good & the hand cut fries were great! We did have our eye on the wings but they were pretty pricey ($19 for 8 wings). We did see they have specials on Wednesday's for wings so we will come back then to give them a try! Great service and food! Will return!

Stopped by VooDoo Brewing while we were in DT Meridian ID. Nice and clean establishment. Server was very nice and they had an interesting selection of drinks. The only downfall was they did not have a full bar (at least not when we were there, April 2025). I would still go back to try more of their drinks and some food.

Pretty good food and great drinks! The live music is wonderful but a little loud. We love the patio when it's warm.

I wish this location stayed up later, especially the kitchen because the burgers are really juicy and tasty! I personally like that you can scan the QR code on the table to order and pay but the servers are also available if you prefer a live human. They did a really nice job on this build. It's clean and sleek and is welcoming. There's outside seating as well, and a mix of bar height and normal height tables. The beers on tap change pretty frequently and you can purchase to go as well. This is a light and brite location, which is a stark contrast to the Boise location. It's just a nice new addition to downtown Meridian! We needed another food and drink option and this doesn't disappoint!

Good Vibes Bacon Blue Burger with fries. Very good. Didn't care for the high seat tables. Uncomfortable. Nice waitress.

I had the good vibes, bacon blue burger with fries. Very good. Waitress was really pleasant. The only thing I didn't like was the high tables. Great location in downtown Meridian.. I like the open windows. I would recommend this place for. Lunch.

Great beer! Great environment, great hospitality. Food hit the spot. Very fast service and food was on the table in no time. Will for sure be back just for the sliders at least!

They were pretty good, I forgot to ask for ranch which would've made it a 10/10 but other than that, I enjoyed it. By itself I give it an 8/10

First off, Downtown Meridian is a cool vibrant area. Voodoo Brewery was a fun and tasty find. The space was airy, with a open patio, indoor dining tables or belly up to the bar. Which we did, as we like using menu not codes to order. Something for everyone. We had the buffalo hot sauce wings, they use a tasty sauce, and their homestyle ranch dressing was good, they were a bit pricey imo. The pickle pizza however, was great. The garlic base, cheese and dill pickle flavors all married together so well. We shared and devoured the whole thing. It's a good share size and value. My hubby really enjoyed the Voodoos brewed IPAs selection. As an amber drinker I ordered a local red which was great to me glad they guest tap one. The two bartenders were fun, fast and gave friendly service. I really appreciated them. It can get busy but they check on you and since this place has tall ceilings we never felt too crowded, just a great atmosphere with fun skulls and art, I really dug the voodoo arty theme too. Of course had to buy some sticker merch from voodoo too! One tip to note they also have way neato seltzer creations as cocktails, Id be interested to try that sometime too. Def check this spot out if in Boise/Meriden area. Prost!

Hot day so enjoyed the indoor setting.

Lots of seating choices inside and out. Very nice staff. Beer choices had something for all. Good pizza and solid nachos. Would have loved shredded chicken and real melted cheese in them vs liquid form. Personal preference.

My girlfriends and I decided we needed to get some grub and enjoy the patio weather today so we all picked Sockeye to hit up for our monthly outing. I arrived first and the patio area was pretty chill. Was sat at a great table and hung out till the rest of my friends showed up. My two friends and I did get to peep out the menu for a bit. Our last friend who is notoriously late allowed is some extra time to really check out the whole menu without feeling rushed. Happy hour was going on so of course the apps were calling to me. I can make a meal off of multiple appetizers. We finally got food ordered when our last friend showed up. I got the salmon and shrimp crab cakes. I have left Sockeye hungry before after having dinner here so I also added a side of chili just in case. I was ready to eat! My crab and shrimp cakes came out looking fabulous. They were fried a nice golden brown. So crispy on the outside and savory on the inside. I love the aoili that was on top, it added an extra flair to the crab cake. 3 were in an order and it was the perfect amount. I smashed all 3 and they were so good! I did have a couple bites of the chili. It was hearty in meat and beans. Rich in flavor and filling. I'm looking forward to adding this chili to some fries with some cheese on top for dinner later. I know it's going to be so good. Our server did a great job tonight. Despite the fact that she had to wait till our last friend to show up, our server was on top of it. Our water was always filled, she checked up on us and always made sure we were happy. As a past server, it's hard to manage time between tables when the whole party isn't there. Our server didn't have that issue today. My girlfriends and I had a great time. We enjoyed the food, enjoyed the atmosphere and was happy that we got to do this all on the patio. I always forget that there's a Sockeye by us off of Hill Rd. I will have to check that one out soon to grab more crab cakes. I do look foward to coming back to this location and enjoying another round of appetizers on the patio here.

I will say the staff here are extremely nice and their drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic are great but food was a bit disappointing for me. I know I am going to sound like a complete weirdo listing what I ordered (which yeah, I am.. what can I say, I have unique taste buds) .. I ordered a lavender lemonade, a maple pecan cream soda and for food the "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" burger with a side of "VooDill" fries. The burger is like a smash burger topped with a blackberry jam and creamy peanut butter and the fries had dill seasoning. The fries were actually pretty good and worth the uncharged for the dill seasoning, the drinks I got were very tasty - if you like lavender like I do, definitely get their lavender lemonade! I like that it doesn't taste watered down or super perfume like, it was a perfect balance of lavender flavor!! The canned maple pecan cream soda was good as well, it reminds me of the Butter Beer you can get in Universal Studio's Harry Potter Wizarding World but it also tasted like it had such an insane amount of sugar that my heart might explode so probably better to just not get that. Now when it comes to the burger, I've had a few peanut butter burgers and while I know it's strange I typically enjoy them and this one could have been very good but it tasted like they put half a container of creamy peanut butter on a burger and gave me only the tiniest bit of blackberry jam. All I could really taste eating this was the peanut butter and I like peanut butter but it wasn't pleasant and definitely not worth $15. The little hint of blackberry jam was delicious but gone after the first bite.. they need to balance out the portions of the PB and Jam. If you're a fan of PB burgers, I recommend going to Sid's Garage at the Village in Meridian instead.. they have a PBJ burger that'll knock your socks off- and in theirs you can taste all the flavors, not just a pile of peanut butter!

A couple of my friends showed up first, got a great table outside and ordered a couple apps to get the party started. I showed up after goodies and drinks were ordered. We started off with some chips and salsa and pountine. The chips and salsa looked good but the pountine was definitely calling my name! I love me some potatoes and these potatoes looked like they were going to be right up my alley! I dished up a good portion before my friends got some. They were kind to let me plate first cause of my new kidney. I didn't want to be too greedy so the portion I got was a few bites. Those few bites got me hooked so it was a must to get another order started. While my order of pountine was being worked on, I tried the pretzel with cheese and the hummus plate. The pretzel was perfectly salted. The cheese sauce was the perfect addition to the soft pretzel. I took a good amount of the hummus and Greek salad. The pita that came with it was a great vessel for the hummus. It was crispy with a slight chew to it. The hummus was clean tasting and rich. The Greek salad was so fresh. All the components of the salad tasted like they were just picked from the garden. You literally can't get anymore farm to table than that! It was so fresh! The second order of pountine came out. Everything about this appetizer was delicious! I love soggy, softer fries and these fries were the business! The gravy and cheese were the highlight of the dish for me. You can never go wrong with potatoes, cheese and gravy! There was a good amount of meat on the pountine. It was so tender! You can tell it was cooked with a lot of love and time! I took the rest home and I plan on hiding my box in the back of my fridge so my daughter can't get to it! We ended our happy hour with the beignets. Each one of these goodies were covered in powered sugar. The caramel sauce that was paired with it was devine! In all honesty, as full as I was, I could have polished off an order myself! They were the perfect dessert to end this fabulous meal. Bittercreek has been on my to go list for a hot minute. I'm so happy we got to come here and celebrate my birthday. The food was marvelous. Our server did a fantastic job taking care of us! Our waters were always filled. Our cocktails were never dry. And our plates were always filled cause food was always ordered on time for us. Homie was on point tonight! The venue can't be any more stunning. The weather was lovely. We were meant to be here today! In so happy we started my birthday week off at Bittercreek!

Now, the food. My friend went for one of their signature burgers, which was seasoned simply so the beef really gets to shine. The only hiccup was that they were out of tomatoes, which is a non-negotiable topping for her, so keep that in mind if tomatoes are a must. I went a different route and ordered the beef focaccia. Uniquely layered ribeye and really good. We also shared a Greek salad that was simple but fresh and satisfying. And the french fries with their homemade ketchup? Don't skip em. Service was smooth and friendly from start to finish. No complaints.
