My first appointment with Dr. Dow was exceptional. The front desk staff greeted me upon arrival and were very pleasant. My hygienist, Ashley, did a great job. Usually I experience some pain during cleanings/ consultations but not with Ashley. She was great! Dr. Dow was awesome sauce! After my dentist had the nerve to move away*, I was on the search for a new one. My first attempt at finding a new dentist didn't go so well, but on the recommendation of a friend I decided to see Dr. Rohan and Dr. Dow of Chicago Style Smiles. Scheduling an appointment was easy; since they're in the Loop, I had a lot more flexibility in terms of appointment times. Forms are available online and can be esigned, so all I had to do was show up for my first appointment. I'm not someone that fears the dentist, maybe because I've had two great dentists most of my life. What was important was finding a place I felt comfortable, trusted and wanted to return for my dental needs for the foreseeable future. My first appointment was for a cleaning and x-rays; unlike my last dentist (aka fancy dentist), the appointment was quick and efficient. It did turn out that I had a few cavities that Dr. Rohan wanted to address before they became worse, so I scheduled an appointment the following week to get them taken care of. Upon leaving, the office gave me an estimate of the costs to fill the cavities, so there wouldn't be any surprises. My second visit was just a good as the first; I mean just as good as one that involves drilling and novocaine can be. My most recent visit was scheduled with Dr. Dow; I appreciated knowing that in advance in case I was uncomfortable seeing anyone new. I was a little concerned about how long the visit would take as I had scheduled a conference call 90 minutes after my appointment. Dr. Dow was just as great as Dr. Rohan and I had plenty of time to pick up breakfast and stroll to my office before my call. I'm very pleased with the staff at Chicago Style Smiles and love that there was no pressure to buy expensive toothbrushes, toothpastes or cosmetic procedures. There were also no surprises when my explanation of benefits arrived from my dental insurance. Can't recommend high enough! I was introduced to Chicgao Style Smiles and Dr. Dow through a friend and colleague and I'm so thankful for the recommendation. My first consultation with Dr. Dow demonstrated the professionalism and care that I have come to expect from him as well as all of the staff. One of my main concerns is a tooth that I had chipped years ago in a skiing accident. I had it filled at the time of the accident, but now that 10 years have past, the tooth was set-back and had some discoloring along the point of impact. I had gone to a different dentist originally who had suggested a $3,000 fix that required investing in veneers. After my consultation with Dr. Dow, he suggested a variety of options and discussed each with me in a way that was patient, considerate and easy to understand. After learning that Dr. Dow is a perfectionist (a GOOD thing!) I decided to let him re-do the tooth with a composite, a much more cost-effective approach. I just got back from my appointment to get my tooth re-done and I am so happy with the result! It is way better than expected! Dr. Dow did a perfect job and I feel so much more confident about my smile now. I have already told several people about Chicago Style Smiles and the quality of Dr. Dow's work -- plus, his bedside manner is great! Happy 400th review to me, happy 400 to meeeee.... BEST DENTAL OFFICE EVER!!!!!!! Too much birthday or celebratory cake for me......My Yelp Sweet days has gotten the best of me, and as of late, I've had to make several recent trips to the dentist. Not pleasant for most people, but I do must add that Chicago Smiles takes as much pain out of the appointments as bearably possible. BEST DENTIST On my first and last visit to my last dentist (I will not disclose WHEN), the staff, was a snooty little entitled bunch who was very cold, impersonal, and acted like I was privileged to be there. Their customer service was very unprofessional and a hygienist, who happened to be leaving at the same time as me, posed questions she had for me about one of my cousins that she happened to know. I can smell a nosy, insincere person a mile away, and *THIS* chic reeked of it. Fyi, that dental business is at the corner of Sheffield and North Ave. The staff at Chicago Smiles, however, are so caring!!! They are really concerned about your wellbeing, and in this case, your pain factor. I was able to locate them thru 1-800 Dentist and to my very fortunate luck, they happened to be around the corner from work. They even managed to squeeze me in for an emergency visit, which at that point, saw that the problem was a wisdom tooth that needed some prompto removing. Dr Dow was my dentist and is glad to explain any of the high tech stuff that shows up on his screen. He is very compassionate towards his patients and will clarify any doubts or options for your teeths' best interest. He also was happy to refer me to an oral surgeon who was in the same building to extract my widwom tooth. Did I say BEST DENTIST ever? Theresa is their office manager who handles all the financial mumbo jumbo. She is very clarified with her information, and is also very warm. I'm a big sissy when it comes to pain, and on my first (EXCRUCIATING PAINFUL) visit, she made me feel comfortable and at ease. She also calls at least a week prior to an appointment to confirm or reschedule, and makes everything easy breezy! Let's not forget Shelly, Dr. Dow's assistant! Sweet as pie, and honestly, I am not exaggerating! After taking some very painful xrays, yes...I'll admit. I sat in the chair crying. She was very apologetic, and it wasn't even her fault. But I really did feel her empathy for my pain, and felt better. Chatting up with her was like speaking to an old long lost friend. Did I say BEST DENTAL OFFICE ever? This is so unbelieveable I'm going to stick to the facts. And I should add, Dr. Rohan please do not contact me again. Less than a week after I posted my review Dr. Rohan himself called me at my job to ask me to remove my review. I asked him if I could call him back. In addition to this, after his phone call he also emailed me (as if a phone call from him at 9 a.m. at my work was not harrasment enough). Some days after our phone conversation I replied to his email telling him after careful consideration I would not be removing my review because it was my experience and it was the truth. Upon receiving this email Dr. Rohan called me at work AGAIN. This time he asked me if he refunded me for the initial exam fee if I would remove my review ( I specifically asked for xrays only, which they agreed was fine when I booked the appointment, but when I went to leave they informed me I was being charged me for an initial exam also, even after realizing their error). I asked him if he was offering to pay me to remove the reivew. He said, "I wouldn't say that." I told him if he wanted to refund me money that was up to him, but I would not be removing my review. I had Dr. Rohan replace a crown I had chipped. He took my insurance, but neglected to tell me he was out of network and that insurance would only be covering 50% of what they deem "usual and customary". It's not their responsibility to tell the patient this, but I felt slightly deceived by them telling me they take my insurance. Either way for a crown I would be thrilled with I would be willing to pay top dollar. Unfortunately, I am less then thrilled. My previous crown was porcelain fused to metal and I opted to replace it with the same type. The metal under my previous crown was gold and there was no metal showing at all when it was placed. This new crown has a silver metal and the metal is significantly showing on the inside (which the doctor kept telling me is a "non-aesthetic zone", but whatever I can see it clearly). When I questioned the metal being silver I was told its white gold, whether this is true or not I cannot tell unless I want to try and acid test my tooth! The problem is that your dentin is a yellowish color (like gold...)and by having a dark, silver metal under the crown instead of gold it doesn't looks as natural. Also, the dentist had a really hard time fitting my crown and had to place it, yank it off, and adjust it about 6 times. To me this means the crown just wasn't made well and should have been sent back. Then once the crown was on it was ground down some more removing a lot of the coloring that had been made to match my other teeth. Now I am left with a slightly rough crown that doesn't match my other teeth. The crown is also shaped sort of blob-like and doesn't look as natural or "tooth-shaped" as it could have been and I have seen others made. In addition to aesthetic concerns the margins of my crown are above the gumline and do not make a smooth transition to the natural tooth (there is a bit of a ledge). I can easily feel this transition with my tongue and while flossing and ideally there should be no or a very minimal ledge. Bottom line, the dentist did replace my crown and it is medically sound, but I could have received a medically sound, but aesthetically poor crown at any old dentist and paid 1/2-1/3 of the price. I went to Dr. Rohan, because he is supposed to do beautiful and high quality work and this is not my experience. read more

I was looking for a dentist in Chicago a few months ago because I had recently moved from Indianapolis where I had an EXCELLENT dentist. I was nervous that I would end up going to a dentist that was trying to sell me on things that I didn't need and screw up my healthy teeth. After reading great reviews on Dr. Rohan, I decided to give his office a call. I was amazed how quickly I was able to get in for an appointment. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and I did not have to wait long in the reception area. I was very disappointed with the cleaning that was done on my teeth. They spent most of the time taking pictures from every angle on my teeth and I felt like they really missed out on the cleaning part. Then Dr. Rohan, who I didn't think was all that friendly, used this ultraviolet tool thing, which gave some of my teeth very high readings. He mentioned something about the remaining sealant that I had on my teeth causing high readings. According to the readings, I should technically have very advanced cavities. I have never had a cavity and my dentist 6 months before had not noticed anything out of the ordinary. When I got to the checkout counter, the lady told me that I needed to schedule an appointment for two fillings. Dr. Rohan never actually discussed this with me during the appointment. I talked to my dentist in Indianapolis later that day, who did not think I needed fillings at all. Needless to say, I will be making the trek to Indianapolis every 6 months for my check-ups after this experience. read more

I am a confirmed dental-phobe. The problem? I love clean teeth, I love to laugh, I love to smile, but the process of teeth cleaning and the works? Enough to send me into conniptions. I decided to try a new dentist, and on the recommendation of some friends, I was off to 30 N Michigan for a much needed cleaning. Everyone in the office was SPECTACULARLY kind and friendly. I appreciate that, always, even more so when I'm dealing with dental anxiety. Chicago Smiles did their prep. They made sure we would have no problems with conditions ahead of time. I had all needed x-rays and was suitably entertained by the new-fangled equipment. Gone are the days of old school dentistry- THANK DOG! In came the Dentist- Dr. Rohan walked me through what he was going to do, did it, and my teeth were clean. For the first time in over 7 years, I had a dental cleaning with NO NEED FOR GAS!! We did discuss using the product and he left the choice to me. I am still please, shocked, and in awe of the fact that there was no need. My teeth are clean. Of that there is absolutely no doubt. The difference, I am convinced, was in Dr. Rohan's manner and how he approached the task of cleaning my teeth. Before I left I was given some goodies including one to make things easier. I was told to keep with my regimen, it was working and to come back in a few months. What an all around success! I am really happy- read more

Like the bad person I am, I hadn't visited the dentist in almost two years. And my teeth were in sad shape. But Dr. Rohan never made me feel ashamed, and was very frank about his analysis. Yes, the grand verdict was that I would need about 2-3 fillings and a root canal. OUCH. This is why you should always visit the dentist every six months folks. He gave me a thorough explanation of what to expect, how to better care for my teeth, etc. And the entire staff was very nice throughout the procedure. When I went in to get the first stage of my root canal done, I was surprised by how I felt...nothing. There were small tinges here and there, but Dr. Rohan made note of it and immediately addressed the pain so that it was minimal. My appointments were always done within an hour and a half. Now, because Dr. Rohan is such an exceptional dentist, he's always booked. My next appointment is always weeks away. Moreover, he is pricey, but I'm more than happy to pay for the premium if I'm under professional and thorough care. read more

Like most people, I am not a fan of going to the dentist. And unfortunately, I stayed away much too long this last time (a whole two years!). I haven't had a cavity since I was 12, but this time I need to fill 4 teeth. I was a little hesitant to rush and get these filled as soon as I heard the news because I always hear stories of dentists telling you to fill teeth that don't need fillings for extra cash flow. But Dr. Rohan actually took the time to show me my Xrays and pictures and I actually could see the cavities, which I really appreciated. I have since been to Dr. Rohan four times, all of which were rather positive experiences. The staff are extremely friendly and I have never had to wait longer than 2 minutes for my appointment time. You gotta love that! There's nothing worse than sitting in a waiting room for 30 mins before getting in (especially if you are trying to take care of business on your lunch break)! This guy is changing the dental game. All the technology is state of the art including the use of sensors to determine the depth/severity of cavities. You can be sure you're not getting ripped off for anything because they disclose all costs and educate you on any potential issues in your dental future. They teach you about everything they do in the process so you understand the end game. Kevin is fantastic. I'd highly recommend him for anyone that has anxiety regarding the dental experience. His demeanor is relaxed, authentic and puts you at ease. Everyone that works in the office is delightful but more importantly efficient. You can book on ZocDoc. They don't try to up-sell you. I've been going to Dr. Rohan's for about two years now. He's completely fixed my dental healthy, including multiple cavities and general gum health, and referred me to Dr. Domanico downstairs to remove my wisdom teeth (which also was a complete success!) I'm now extremely happy with my dental health, and ready to do Invisuline with him! :) He's extremely caring, and got great style too! I don't say that lightly b/c as we all know, dentist appointments can be really really scary. His steady hands give you confidence to deal the dental problems you've been procrastinating on... Especially for me, b/c my father was a very successful dentist once upon a time, it requires tremendous confidence for me to let other people touch my teeth! :))) The front desk people typical represents everything you need to know about an office. Lady Christine is extremely caring, helpful, and considerate. I wish she works in my own office - it helps just to see her smile every day! :) I secretly cross my fingers every time I call the Dr's office that Christine be the one picking up instead of the other girl!!! Christine would NOT ask how do you spell your last name, nor would she act like "we're too good to be available for an appt next month", nor would she try to change my appointment without apologizing first that they had to move it for some reason... After two years of coming here, I feel like Christine is a friend that knows how my whole dental history with the office! Dr Rohan's staff are incredibly friendly, especially the pretty young lady Kristie at the front desk. I haven't visited the dentists for years and now I have periodontal disease and need treatment, :(. I won't have insurance till the beginning of 2010 so I had a lot of, i mean A LOT OF concerns when it comes to the cost of the treatments. I literally bombed Kristie with emails and asked tons of questions, and she replied ALL of them. So I decided that I shall the time to register on Yelp and give them a 5 star here. The first time I went there I had some x-rays and the hygienist examined my teeth and explained to me what was wrong with my teeth and then dr. Rohan came in for a short while and explained a bit more. It turned out that I need to have two visits to do the deep cleaning and I just had my first this morning. It was not that bad and I am doing fine now. After the hygienist finished the SRP today, Dr. Rohan came in for a very short moment and quickly checked the results (it seems that my hygienist is a newbie but she was not bad at all) and then left. I wanted to ask Dr. Rohan some questions but half my face was numb and my tongue felt not mine and plus I am a foreigner so I need to do some translation in my head before I speak out so missed the chance... I have met two hygienists there (one examined my teeth and one did the STP for me) and they both were very friendly, and, they are both pretty~~ :D This is my first dentist visit in the US so I am not sure what's the usual procedure but in general this is a nice place to go if you want to get your teeth checked. I have some more visits coming, I need another STP and also need to fill some cavities. Will be able to comment more later. read more

Dr. Rohan is a genuine and caring professional who tells it straight and I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation. I seriously miss going to his office. How messed up is that, who misses a dentist??? I am sad to say that I had to change providers about a year ago as my new employer's dental plan is, shall we say, a bit lacking. Anyways, I just started my Yelp account and had to give a shout out to Dr. Rohan and his entire office. I went to him for several years and everything with him went really well. I had a nightmare experience with my prior provider, so I had to have a TON of work done over the course of several years and they were great with closely tracking my insurance maximums and planning out my dental work to meet what I needed but not leave me with a bill for things that should have been covered by insurance. The customer service was always top notch, Kristie and Theresa there were usually who I talked to and they always made me feel like they knew exactly who I was and what was going on with my claims (or maybe they are just that good that they really did remember!). I like Dr. Rohan. I like his staff. I like his office, which has a view of Millenium Park. And I like that he has all the very latest in technology. I know that when he tells me I have a cavity (which, sadly, has happened--for shame!), I do. How? Because he blows up my x-rays and intraoral photos on a LCD monitor so I can see them. I also appreciate that they remind me multiple times of my appointments, and have never once given me any lip when I've reschedule (or rescheduled AGAIN--hey, I'm a busy girl). Why four stars? No one likes the dentist. And he is pricey. Two fillings set me back over $500, but it's worth the cash for someone who I am comfortable with, who is more than competent, and convenient to my office on the Mag Mile. read more

I was referred to Dr. Rohan by a friend, and her glowing recommendation did not disappoint! Not only did I need a new dentist for basic cleaning, but I also had some cosmetic concerns to discuss with the doctor. My first appointment lasted a good hour. The staff was incredibly thorough (and kind!) in my first cleaning- taking x-rays, and making sure everything was copacetic. Dr. Rohan spent a long time examining each and every tooth and it was nice to see the corresponding x-rays on the flat screen as he walked me through the exam. He is great at explaining everything in a detailed yet understandable manner, and also answering any questions you may have. After discussing my options for cosmetic adjustments, I decided to get some bonding done to fill in some small gaps between my top four teeth. The appointment for the bonding took about an hour, and was smooth and painless. I still cannot believe what a difference such a small amount of work made; I'm more confident than I have ever been with my smile and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to do it than Dr. Rohan. He did an outstanding job not only filling in the gaps, but also making sure all the teeth aligned and matched perfectly. I had one very tiny piece of bonding come out weeks later while I was flossing, and Dr. Rohan fixed it free of charge! Dr. Dow has helped save my front teeth! WITHOUT Veneers! A previous dentist had done a number on my front tooth repairing and re-repairing a front tooth cavity. It then turned into a root canal, which gave me discomfort for years. The front tooth had discolored badly and was finally in need of attention when my husband recommend that I try his dentist. Dr. Dow not only saved my tooth but he is an excellent dentist. He is extremely detail oriented, went over every one of my teeth on my initial exam and explained to me why any tooth had a problem and how they could be treated. While people may complain about cost, I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for". I got top notch treatment and to be able to smile and not have to hide an ugly tooth or have to yank any out is worth the money. This guy basically rebuild a tooth that looked like swiss cheese and it looks and feels awesome. Unlike my old dentist who was not only rough with my mouth, but did a sloppy and lazy job on many of my filling. My point, don't accept lousy service, there are awesome dentists out there like Dr. Dow who will do a decent job and make you feel at ease while working on you. This is simply the best dental office. Dr. Dow is terrific. I have seen him for a routine cleaning and to get a couple of cavities taken care of. He is extremely knowledgeable, quick yet thorough, friendly and professional. For my cavities, he explained the procedure, put me at ease and had an excellent way of engaging me and making me feel like an old friend. He totally comes off like he actually cares about his patients, remembers details about their lives: seriously great 'bedside' manner. The rest of the staff is just adorable, efficient and understanding. Maryellen and Shelli at the Front Desk are very friendly and nice. Dr. Rohan is great! I went to a bad dentist a while back so I have been scared away for a while. A friend referred me to Dr. Rohan and I am completely happy with the service I have received. Kristie helped me through figuring out my coverage - I truly appreciate her patience and diligence in figuring it out after about 1000 emails and phone calls. Once I was finally scheduled for my cleaning I could not believe the service I received. It was incredible and they had top of the line technology! I love that you can actually SEE the tooth that has a cavity right then and there. I went back for three fillings and he did a great job. No pain at all! I have had bad dentist nightmares for the last 10 years UNTIL I met Dr. Rohan. His staff is super friendly and they explain everything upfront, no hidden charges. One of my crowns from the "bad" dentist fell out last night and I swallowed it. I left a message last night and they called me this morning and made a temp crown. I went over at lunch and the temp crown was ready. The ladies were fantastic and I can't say enough about how great this dentist and his staff treat their patients. I don't know why I haven't reviewed their office sooner, but by the looks of all the 5 star reviews, I'm not the only one who feels this way. The entire staff is fantastic Maryellen and Shelli are always so nice when you check in. Mary, Jenni and Diana take your comfort into consideration and are very helpful. Can I just say that Mary even remembered me when I had braces and she worked at my orthodontists office...when I was 12. Maybe I still look like I'm in high school, but I find it really impressive that she remembered! Now onto the dentists! I originally started seeing Dr. Rohan 5 years ago and switched to Dr. Dow because he had Friday appointments. Both are fantastic and kind. Dr. Dow always makes me laugh and he's very thorough. He doesn't do unnecessary work to increase insurance billing and is comfortable watching a problem area. I had a broken tooth right before the new year and Dr. Dow fixed it in a quick appointment, explained everything he was doing and showed me before and after pictures. I'm in the health care field myself, so it's a testament that I recommend this office all the time to my colleagues and patients. They treat me like a person, not just a mouth with pearly whites (which I credit to you as well) and I appreciate each visit. I also like the goody bags (ahem chap stick and toothbrushes!) The office is across the street from Millennium Park overlooking the bean so it's quite the view! I've moved away from Chicago, but every dentist I've been to since (Northern Virginia, Dublin, Ireland, and Seattle, WA) have remarked on the gorgeous bridgework I've got. I wish I could give Dr. Dow 7 stars, and let me tell you why. I am a true phobic when it comes to a dentist. I have had a countless number of bad experiences! Really bad! I have had some true weirdos in my mouth! But after today, I think if I would have met Dr. Dow 20 years ago, I would have perfect oral health. It is something to be said of a dentist who is both patient and professional. It is even more when the tone and timbre of someones' voice is equally relaxing. I was scared to death to have a tooth extracted, and I am scared to death to return in a few weeks -- but I am going back because I need to and because I have a sneaky suspicion that things will go as smoothly as they did today. If anyone out there has an aversion to the entire dental profession (like me), try Dr. Dow. I recently went in to the office for the first time since two changes have occurred: They added a new dentist to the practice, and my insurance changed. Everything is still running wonderfully! They were able to change the time of my appointment just a few days prior, and as usual the office was running right on schedule when I arrived. I forgot to bring in my new insurance information, but they had already updated everything since the insurance switch so it was no biggie. Dr. Rohan and the entire staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The receptionists know me when I call, the hygienists and dentist know me when I arrive, which really says something about a practice in a big city, in my opinion. read more

My girlfriend referred me to Dr. Dow after a previous dentist failed to provide adequate treatment on a couple of cavities. From the moment the appointment was confirmed I knew this was going to be my preferred dentist. The new patient intake is top notch as all the forms can be filled out and submitted online. Before I could even sit down in the waiting area they walked me straight back to the chair and began taking X-Rays. There was literally no waiting around as Dr. Dow was in as soon as his assistant was finished. Unlike a lot of other dentists, Dr. Dow sat down and went over almost every single tooth in my mouth pointing out the good, the bad, and the ugly. One of my cavities was starting to cause some discomfort and Dow recommended taking care of it either by filling or root canal depending on what he found once he got in there. From prior experience with other dentists, I figured I'd have to make another appointment since this was my first visit. However, Dow was genuinely concerned that it was on the brink of disaster so he was ready to treat it right then and there. As he lowered my chair back, the office administrator informed us that I was not covered for any treatments since I was on a DMO plan. This was partially a combination of my fault and my insurance company's fault since they previously confirmed that I was covered. Dr. Dow, being the nice guy he is, didn't attempt to rush me out. He finished the exam and provided the services free of charge, even after I offered to pay since I neglected to do my research. He recommended taking the X-Rays to my next dentist and agreed to provide a discount on them so I took the offer. In summary, Dow and his staff are friendly, professional, and genuinely care about their patients' dental hygiene. I will definitely be switching to a PPO next year just so I can continue seeing Dow. read more

Just moved to Chicago recently and went in for my first appt with Dr Dow - by far the most thorough interaction I've ever had with a dentist. They took pictures / a lot of different x-ray angles and did a mouth cancer screen (how have none of my other dentists ever done that?!). Dr Dow explained everything on the screen to me as he was reviewing it and let me ask questions along the way. Also, everyone in the office is really nice and personable. Great experience! I cannot say enough how much I love Dr. Dow and the entire practice!! I found Dr. Dow through ZocDoc and was a little nervous since I hadn't used the service before. I walked in and was greeted warmly by the entire reception desk and felt welcome and totally comfortable. Dr. Dow and his team were so wonderful - I can't recommend this place enough! Dr. Dow did the cleaning the first visit so he can get to know you better which is fantastic and a nice touch. He addressed multiple problems I was facing and on my second visit, was able to address them all. Including fixing a crack resulting from another dentist appointment I had in the past in Indianapolis. He was beyond helpful in walking me through what needed to happen and educating while working on my teeth. They called the next day to follow up which was so sweet and I really was happy to hear from them and give them the news that everything felt fantastic. Dr. Dow, Diana and the rest of the team here are great. Everyone you encounter at the office is so sweet and accommodating, and Dr. Dow himself is honestly the best dentist I've ever been to and just an all around really nice person. He works with you start to finish on your first visit and explains everything he's doing in detail. He'll also cast in-progress photos onto a screen in front of you so you have a better understanding of what's going on inside your mouth as he's working. For what it's worth, I was super hungover when I went in for my first exam and still had a great experience. read more

Dr. Rohan is great, and so is his staff. They are extremely nice and on top of everything. They always email me in advance to confirm appointments, which I prefer over phone calls and always follow up to see how everything went afterwards. Last year I needed a cap, but I was about to leave for Europe for a work trip so Dr. Rohan picked it up himself and met me for an early appointment. He is a great doctor and I highly recommend this office! read more

Updating - if I could give this business 6 stars I would. :) I continue to be impressed by Dr. Rohan's connection to his patients. This isn't something you usually expect from a dentist - most people want to get in and get out as quickly as possible - but I can honestly say that I look forward to any opportunity to see the folks at Chicago Style Smiles! I just had 3 fillings replaced, and the entire experience was a breeze. Dr. Rohan was very attentive to ensure that I didn't feel any pain, and the process was over and done with very quickly. Dr. Dow at Chicago Style Smiles and his team are hands down the best dental experience I've ever had. I chipped my tooth while flossing, and was in an absolute panic. So my friend from work recommended that I schedule an appointment with Dr. Dow. I called in the morning and they scheduled an emergency visit with me that day! He ended up replacing the filling and fixing my chipped tooth! He walked me through step by step so I knew what was happening at all times. Surprisingly that was relieving. I have had many fillings in my life but this was as seamless as possible. I scheduled a cleaning after that. I was on a tight timeline however Dr. Dow and his staff took all of my x rays, walked me through the process of what was happening with my teeth, and cleaned them in time for me to make my train! The best advice I can offer is to simply go to them and experience it for yourself. Everyone is so friendly, they make you feel like you own the place. Take it from me, I live an hour away and only go to them. It's only because this is unparalleled experience. I actually enjoy going to the dentist for once in my life. It's really no wonder that this dental office has a perfect rating. My second time here and they greeted me by name, a little effort can make the biggest difference. I never have to wait more than 3 minutes in the waiting room before being seen. The entire staff is super accommodating and pleasant. I'll be sad if I ever have to move away. Location is great, 5 minute walk from the office. AMAZING views. They don't do the normal "dentist flossing shame" that I've experienced before, instead they made me feel super invested in my teeth. They also take referrals. If you need a new dentist and you work in the loop, look no further! read more
