Wonderful! The marinara sauce is extremely flavorful, the cheese was delicious, and the crust was perfectly cooked on the inside and out. Veggies were cooked but had perfect bite to them. Was a regular customer - NOT ANYMORE! Placed an order for delivery over the phone and provided my card info (dumb). After the person in the other end confirmed that all is good and I should expect my order within 40-60mins I hang up and was waiting for the food in assurance it will come, but... After 1,5 hours of waiting I got tired and gave the restaurant a call just to check in, what I figured out is that the order was never placed! Some guy tried to explain to me that the system was down and they are not processing orders. When I asked him if this issue happened just recently it did they know about it 2 hours ago he said it's been going for a while (da hell?!). No "apologies for not letting you know" no nothing! The person over the phone was making lame reasons as of why they didn't tell me the system is not working, almost like it was my fault!!! I really am a fan of this place and their pizza however this recent 'togo' order was worth Yelping about. I ordered a baked pepperoni calzone. There were about 6 pepperoni inside, some cheese and a whole lot of air. For $15+ includ. a side of sauce which I was so glad I ordered...this calzone was not worth it. Yuck! Gave this place another try because I was craving their veggie stuffed pizza. Somewhere along the way, they changed their sauce and crust apparently. When I received today was a soupy mess. The crust was extremely soggy. I was eating cardboard with most of my bites because it had literally seeped so far I to the cardboard that the outside of the box was even wet. Had to use a fork and just dig in the middle. Couldn't even serve an actual slice on to a plate. Horrible newer wet chunky sauce and different crust. They changed their pizza and it isn't for the better. Also ordered a thin crust. Cheese is flavorless to say the least. Crust burnt and over cooked. And the whole thing started off bad, so we were just not happy over all. Asked for a 6pm delivery for a reason and the guy shows up at 5:35. Messed up our plans, but whatever. Over all, I definitely won't be back. Sad, because I used to like their pizza back in the day. I decided to give them another try and it pretty much solidified the fact that they have completely lost my business. How they can serve that pizza is beyond me. read more

Chicago's Pizza has easily and quickly become my favorite late night spot to stop by for some food. First of all pizza by the slice is my go to meal after a few drinks. Second this location is open until 1 am and located within walking distance from my place. I have already been here twice two weekends in a row. A slice of pepperoni or sausage is $3.24. Chicago's Pizza stays "open" until 5 am but that is for pickup and delivery. If you get there before 1 am you can get some pizza and sit inside if you so choose to do so. For an area that is not very high traffic it is nice to have an option like this. There were a few people here each time I came. We ordered a large thin crust with pepperoni and mushrooms and a 7 piece jumbo Buffalo wings. Delivery was on time. Overall the pizza was just ok. The crust reminded us of a thick layer of saltines, but the sauce and toppings were fine. Nothing to write home about. The wings were delicious. The pizza was amazing. Literal food coma even before I left the table. All I could think about while enjoying all the foods was flight 6969 and how maybe they too could enjoy the pizza one day. I placed an order on grubhub this morning, the delivery driver arrived and I paid him cash + tip completely forgetting that I had already paid through the app on my card. I paid twice without even realizing it. I just received a phone call from Grubhub telling me that I paid twice and that they would refund me on my card. How nice!! We've been here a couple of times and didn't have a problem until this time. Last time we substituted our house salads with our meals for a ceaser salad and wasn't charged extra. This time we did same thing, got our bill and saw we were charged $5 extra for both salads. She never told us that it would be extra. Only one salad was taken off not both. But I ordered 12ct wings w/2 small blue cheese. I get billed $4.50 each when it should have been $0.98 each for a cup. Five stars for the gluten-free deep dish. I've searched high and low folks. This is the best Chicago-style GF pizza that you will find. When I lived in the city I searched high and far. I did Lou's meat crust (which I think my arteries can handle my eating once every two years), Giordano's GF thin crust, and Edwardo's GF thin crust, and all of that were just satisfactory. Enough that you feel a part of what the rest of the group and not mowing on salad while everyone else digs into deep dish. But this, this Chicago's Pizza, is the real deal. The crust is thick, buttery, deep dish goodness that one can hardly believe is gluten free. Sauce has a lovely, roasted tomato and oregano flavor with plenty of cheesy deliciousness. In addition, you can actually get two sizes of GF deep dish which is extraordinarily rare in the sans wheat, barley, and rye community. Delivery, dine in and carry out all available. read more

The other time I had pizza here was deep dish and I could literally feel my arteries clogging as I ate it so I was reluctant to try this. But someone ordered it in so I ate it. It was delicious! We got the 4 cheese pizza; mozzarella, fontina, smoked gouda, and Romano cheese, fresh sliced tomatoes, basil and olive oil. The crust was good too, not too salty and not too heavy in your stomach when you're done. I don't know if it was the fact that it was free, that I was hungry, or that it really was just that great...but I'll go with the fact that the pizza really was that good. There is a lot of pizzerias to choose from in Chicago and this place is pretty good place to start. I don't care much for a pan of stuffed pizza and this place has really good hand tossed buttery crust! This location is a bit small so if you have a large party it's probably not a good place for that, you might want to check out their Montrose location. read more
