Pepperoni and cheese slices. $3/$2 dollars each.
    Jacob J.

Note to self; just don't bother. Based on reviews I take it ordering a full pie is the way to go. Going the route of a slice, the prep in that is passionless. If in need of something to stop hunger pains, I guess a slice could suffice since they are affordable at $2-$3 dollars ea. Slices were salty and of the thin & fold-able variety. It's a Halal pizza joint. It's safe to guess most toppings are made of beef, including the pepperoni. It is then over-salted to mimic pepperoni. So faux-pperoni? It befuddles me why they make a pepperoni-like topping at all. Why not just beef sausage and ground beef or chicken slices? Ps ground beef on a pizza can be a game-changer. Judging from the view-able environs, I doubt another go. I found this place by searching online and placing an order for pickup. A decent (& clean) carry-out shawarma shop inhabited this space years ago (Kabul House express), since that time, it looks as if recent & past owners have allowed cleanliness to leave & never expose itself again. A kid was at the counter when I picked up, maybe 15. We're talking late-night, 2:30ish a.m. To me, high school age kids should be in bed not having to work late-ass shifts. I gave him a couple bucks tip. I wager it's a family owned establishment. I teeter on a 2.5.

    Not steak

Disgusting . I ordered fried mushroom and a Philly cheese steak. Idk what they just threw in but I'll let the pictures speak for itself . My Philly cheese steak had ZERO meat. $26 for garbage I won't even let my dog eat.

The employees were so kind and funny and I really felt like they enjoyed talking with their customers (my girl friends and I were first timers and they were so patient and helpful). And I don't eat meats that are made with nitrates. So that knocks out the whole sandwich menu. Oh and I just don't like mushrooms. It's not their problem! Believe me, I know I'm a hot mess. You can't just order a sandwich with chicken and arugula because everything is pre-made and the chicken diced up and is already mixed with red bell peppers, more like a chicken salad sandwich, rather than just a piece of chicken breast waiting for some bread and accoutrements which is what I expected after reading the menu on my phone the day before choosing it for a visit. So it's impossible to get a custom sandwich where you pick and choose what's on it. But they were extremely nice answering all my questions about the food. I could maybe get some focaccia and a side of broccoli if I was desperate and nothing else was open. But I was in no rush and just went home and made something for myself. But my partner really enjoyed it so I'm glad we stopped by to check it out. It's definitely unique and convenient if you don't have so many food allergies like I do. I had already had my coffee fix for the day so I neglected to ask if they have nondairy milk options. There's limited seating inside but lots outside if the weather's nice! Cute little place.

I tried again another weekday, and it was late in the day, so they only had a couple of slices left. Honestly, I did not love it. I have had this type of pizza on my visits to Italy, and this just did not come close. The taste was okay, but it was not enough to make me want to return. On top of that, the portions are way too small for the price. Two square slices of average pizza for nearly $20 is tough to justify.

It's a nice spot for Lincoln Square and I hope it does well here. They have a nice outdoor space for al fresco diners and those with furry friends. It's in the corner that used to be a Subway but this is a better fit I think. The interior is nice, warm, and comfortable. Little parking since this is Lincoln Square after all, but it's worth a try if you like different styles of pizza.

I decided to come to Beard & Belly since I had it bookmarked and it was close to where I was. We were able to get seated right away and received outstanding service. My wife ordered their Chicken & Waffles which I don't see on the menu anymore. This dish was really delicious. The chicken was seasoned and fried perfectly. It came with hot honey so it added a little bit of heat and sweetness. I ordered their Red Eye Pastrami. It came with pastrami, a fried egg, cheddar cheese, Dijon and greens. All in a ciabatta bread. I will admit though, "coffee & hot sauce" were in parentheses. I didn't taste neither in this sandwich. Did I not understand the assignment? Was I supposed to order coffee and then put hot sauce in this sandwich. Regardless, the sandwich definitely hit the spot. Don't think I've ever had a sandwich with pastrami and eggs before. I've been missing out. The ciabatta bread was also very soft. Such a perfect bread for this sandwich. It also came with hash browns. They had a tasty seasoning on them. Salty, but tasty. They offered garlic aioli or ketchup with these. Ketchup is probably the way to go. Really difficult to earn with the aioli, the hash browns fall apart if you try to dip them in the aioli. I can't wait to come back.
