Just moved away from Abilene and when we lived there this was our go to location. For one it's close to the base where we lived. Even though there is tons of traffic this location goes out of there way to get you in and out with the good stuff! They messed up once in a while but they always made it right by us. The manager truly cares about his customers. One of my trips in particular he personally helped me out. My cars battery died right as I finished paying. I was 8 months pregnant my husband was deployed and had just came from my kids dental apt to pick up his lunch. It was lunch time and I was stuck at the drive through window. The window workers told the manager and he came running out to push me into the parking lot. He made sure I was ok and if I needed anything. They have awesome staff every time we go! We will miss this location! They also have good freebies from the app that the manager would send out every now and then. read more

Recently the chicken in their sandwiches has not been good. There is always one piece that I spit out or tear off. My dad was complaining that his almost tasted like it wasn't cooked all the way. We eat chick fil a often but the quality lately has me finding other restaurants. Also, the outside line may look long but it's quicker than going inside. If you go inside it is very clear that the drive through gets served first. Only 3 medium fries? You better believe that all 3 are going to be bagged up for the drive through. It's very frustrating to stand there as you wait for your one sandwich and medium fry. read more

We stopped here for an early lunch on our way to Ft. Worth. The service can be a little slow, but they are friendly. The place is clean and good food. There is a play area for the kids to play in, but it always gets cramped in there. The fries seemed a little undone to me... like it needed like 2 more minutes in the fryer to get it crispier. read more

Stopped here to get a quick dinner before heading back to Austin. Service is awful! I walked up to the counter and started ordering and between the two cashiers there (both looked like high schoolers) both just stared at me. Then they looked at each other like they didn't know what to do. After a minute one of them decided they would take my order. There were no "my pleasures" exchanged or even a "you're welcome." If I'm being honest, these kids didn't care at all and I expect more from Chick-fil-A customer service. When I went up for a refill the same teenage boy took my cup, didn't say a word to me, and filled it up. This is the worst Chick-fil-A I have been to! It's hard to say anything bad about any Chick-fil-A. And compared to all other fast food restaurants, this place is still miles above par. That said.. compared to the many many many other CFA locations I've been to over the years, this one is my least favorite. It's not that it's bad.. it's just not quite up to the same standard that I've come to expect from CFA. The drive they lane is long all day long, which is not abnormal, but usually I don't sweat a long CFA Lomé because you're still getting through in about one minute. That's not the case at this location. I've sat in that line upwards of 10 minutes before. The other day I tried curbside at this location for the first time and same thing.. it took me several minutes just to get to a curbside parking space and then it was another 10 minutes before I actually got my food. Of course the employee was kind and apologized for the wait.. and it's still CFA, so it still gets 4 stars from me. I just hope they figure out the timing thing like other locations read more

Every time I come here with my kids which are under 3 years old, the play area always full with kids who are above 5 years old sometimes teens play here. I watch my kids as much as I can but other kids just dont control them self, they hit, kick my kids, of course I mad at them, then I go to the manager, since the rule is 3 YEARS AND UNDER., so I tell her everything why I upset about She said oh yea I will make sure to do better. NOO!!! You not even tell the big kids to stop!! The worker come to me and said, every parents need to watch their own kids, they can not do anything! EXCUSE ME???? so you can't tell these kids to stop playing?? And let the 3YEARS AND UNDER play in peace??? SMH!! Will not come back to this location. TERRIBLE. read more

Not sure what changes they made after they remodeled but the staff is no longer as efficient through the drive-thru. The sheer volume of cars they were able to handle before the remodel was done well, but now it seems like they're constantly training new staff and are not able to move the cars through at even half the speed they were able to before. read more

Usually whenever me and my cousin go in to this chick-fil-a we have no problems.. and before they would allow him to get that special they have on mondays.. called military mondays.. and he would order 2 meals.. aparently they changed it, But there is this one girl who works there that has nothing better to do than go out of her way to stop him from ordering now period.. yesterday he went in to buy himself a meal with the military special.. and she litterally ran from the drive thru and pointed him out in front of customers and everything saying he already went through the drive thu, smiling like it was funny. Chick fill a has got it going on with customers service. Went to the Southwest Drive location, a young lady opened the door and greeted us. The counter people were fast and helpful. Chick fil a at this location is amazing, the manager Ginger is awsome she makes everyone feel like family and she is so sweet. I love going in there at lunch ordering a number two with the jalapeno salsa to go on it and pepper jack cheese oh so good. The staff is very friendly and amazing they come around and make sure your okay and see if you need refills. Even though it gets crowded its so worth the money and the visit to have a manager that treats her customers like family. you will not find a manager like Ginger at all. i will go back often just for the serve and the food. read more
