Stopped here for dinner. There was plenty of parking and the areas I saw were clean. I got 3 chicken strips and was surprised at how small they were. Last time I got them they were a lot bigger. The taste was good and they were hot. They were giving away samples of a new sandwich that has bacon and jalapeño, lettuce and tomato. It was good, I will probably get it in ghe future. This location , I observed "horse play on the job", 3/28/26. When I spoke with the manager, she stated , "We are allowed to have horse play on the job!" This is harassment , safety issue and hostile work environment concern. This is a BIGGER ISSUE ! The manager was very put off addressing "Yall have a good day". My wife and I have been loyal Chick-fil-A customers for years, which is why this experience at the Beaver Creek Apex location has been so painful and disappointing. On November 25, we went through the drive-thru at 1110 Beaver Creek Commons Dr on our way to the vet to put our dog down after a period of suffering. Our dog loved Chick-fil-A nuggets and whipped cream. In the past, I've often ordered a cookies & cream milkshake and let her have the whipped cream as a little treat. That day, I didn't want a milkshake, so we placed a mobile order and, when we arrived, pulled into the alternate lane to ask if we could add a side of whipped cream for our dog. I explained that we were on our way to say goodbye to her, and the team member told us it would be okay. When we got to the window, a different employee took over, spoke with the manager, and came back saying they could not give us the whipped cream after all. We were told the manager said we could come inside if we wanted to speak with her. My wife was already in tears and begged me not to go in because she didn't want to be a problem. As a husband, my role is to look after her, and it was incredibly frustrating to watch her feel even smaller and more uncomfortable in a moment when she was already heartbroken. We were also told to move along because we were "holding up the line," and I heard someone say, "he's just holding up the line." Hearing that while we were literally on our way to put our dog down was deeply hurtful and made us feel like an inconvenience instead of people going through something very hard. Later, I shared what happened with Chick-fil-A's care team. Instead of anyone from this location reaching out, a free kale salad/small fry was added to my app. I called the care team back to say that didn't really address what happened, and even after that, no one from the store has contacted us. This is not about a cup of whipped cream or trying to get free food. It's about empathy, leadership, and how guests are treated in vulnerable moments. We chose this Chick-fil-A that day because of its reputation for hospitality and care. It is heartbreaking that, at this store, we walked away feeling dismissed and ignored on one of the hardest days of our lives. read more

As a fast food restaurant, this one is at about average, but miles behind the CFA brand. We continue to go here for proximity and if you stick to the staples, the food is good. I do recommend staying away from the salads as I've tried many times and the lettuce is old/slimy and the ingredients aren't fresh. The service at this location also falls well short of what you expect and feels on par with fast food in general. Lastly, bring your patience as the line speed is nowhere near what is needed for the location. read more

I have been eating at this Chick-fil-A for years. very disappointed with the management in the morning. Every time I go there they get my order wrong. I always get a grilled chicken bowl with three eggs in it and extra cheese. They never get it right. I've sent an email to the owner and got no response. I will be contacting corporate about this especially when I got no response from the owner. I have very close to 300,000 points pretty much the record holder for North Carolina. Briar Creek has been excellent so has the one in Morrisville and Cary. my advice is do not go to this Chick-fil-A in Apex. Went over to the new Chick-fil-A this evening asked to speak to the owner because he was there. he did not want to come out and speak with me. this shows how much he cares about his customers. my wife and I own a business and we're very happy to speak with our customers. my advices don't go to any of the Chick-fil-A's in Apex same owner. in the two pictures below the one to the left is a bowl from Apex the one to the right is a bowl from Briar Creek. I have seen the occasion outbursts of 'Karens', and I usually support the people working because they're doing their best, but this location has more rude staff from past CFA's I've visited. I wouldn't advise bringing kids because it seems the staff finds them annoying, but this is from my friend's and I's perspective. The food was good! I got the usual order of a spicy chicken sandwich and waffle fries, and they tasted like the typical CFA flavors, but I liked them! I got my cravings fixed, thankfully! The ambiance is that of a typical fast-food chain, but I liked the interior design! I would only say the staff, service, and ambiance are lacking, but the food was yummy! I'll try another location and see, but so far, my first impression of this CFA's location is I wouldn't visit this location unless necessary. read more

Be very careful when you order from Beaver Creek Chic-Fil-A. I placed an order for delivery which included a salad. They brought the salad, but a little while later when I went to eat it, there was no salad dressing enclosed. I called them and politely requested my salad dressing that was missing. As requested, I read them the order and told them that it was their mistake and please bring me my dressing that I paid for. The manager, MaryEllen, refused. She said that they will not come out just to deliver salad dressing, even though it was their mistake. I paid for it. I cannot eat a dry salad so it was all a big waste of time and money. This is our usual location to go to but not anymore. I was in the drive through for 23 minutes only to be ignored by the 3 young folks working who were busy chatting. When I asked if they were going to take my order I was told that I was on the mobile order lane, that I had to go back around. This is not the hospitality that ChickFila stands for. They could have taken my order and told me next time to stay on the other lane but no. We went to the Waverly location and were in and out in 10 minutes. This is the busiest spot in town, and the traffic pattern doesn't quite help. However, it's the busiest spot in town because the food is just that tasty. My favorite meal to order here is a spicy chicken deluxe sandwich with waffle fries and a sweet tea. As a pleasant surprise, they have opened up the kids playground at this location after being closed for years due to Covid. Honestly, very surprised at the current ratings for this location. We have been coming here for a few years now and almost always have had a positive experience. There have been a few times where items were left out - usually a sauce or one of the extras - not issues with the main meals. I expect this to happen occasionally at fast food style restaurants. To the review - what can I say? Chic-fil-A is a good quality fast food place. The workers have always been very friendly and accommodating. I love that using the mobile app you can customize everything about your meal - including condiments on your sandwiches and how much ice you want in your drinks. I also appreciate that you can get a number of sauces and extra pickles, etc. for no additional charge. Plus - reward points! I may be in the minority when I say that I just do not love their fries. Every time I have had them they taste (and look) like they need to be in that fryer an extra few minutes. That said, I really enjoy their side salads and prefer to get that instead in a combo meal - those crispy red bell pepper toppings are delicious! The line at this Chick-fil-A used to move and there used to be a lot of employees outside helping to expedite orders to the various cars in line, but that is no longer the case here. Sitting in a stand-still line for 20-plus minutes is not the norm at other Chick-fil-A locations. Also, there is no advantage to placing mobile orders -- this location has only one drive-thru lane, so mobile orderers have to merge with in-person orderers -- they do not get through the line any faster than they would if they just place their orders in person. What's the point in having a mobile order line if you can't get in and out faster than the other customers? It's too painful to pick up "fast" food at this particular location, so I will drive out of my way to go somewhere else until the new Apex Chick-fil-A opens this year. read more

A big part of eating out is service, right? Not at the CFA in Apex NC. If CFA is explicitly guided by Christian values, then this location needs to be reevaluated by corporate. The management and owner have little regard for how to treat customers. It's been well known in the community that the manager here is rude and seems put out by her job. Worse yet, the owner enables this behavior. To the manager, here's a reminder of CFA's purpose statement: "To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us. To have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A." To the owner, how asinine are you that you will not take responsibility for every employee action that takes place in your establishment? It's sorry leadership on your part. I got a salad from the Chick-fil-A in Apex three weeks ago. A relative of mine got dinner for everyone in my family. He ordered a salad for me. My salad contained a hair wrapped as if tossed this way around the lettuce. As I was chewing I felt something was very wrong. I spit it out and found the lettuce was entangled with hair! This ruined my meal. On another matter at another location in Sanford on 421 I have seen the teenagers there taking a bucket and dirty mop through to the pick-up window as food is being moved there. You should be absolutely ashamed at your staff. We are frequent visitors of Chick-fil-A but that will end today. I have never been so shaken to my core and infuriated. My 6 year old child was in your play center today and was approached by a manager who proceeded to fuss at her directly and tell her she was "too big" to be in there and she needed to leave. A 6 year old! If you have an issue you find the adult. You do not go to a child and proceed to be completely inappropriate. Yes my child is tall. I'm 5' 8" myself so guess she got it from her mama. Please explain to me in what world is it ever appropriate to go to a 6 year old child and in front of God and all his disciples rant and rave that they are too big. We wonder why girls have such bad body image but then you see this and it makes total sense. I guess I take blame for not seeing a size and weight label before she went in with her other friends whom are older than she is. But you just created a core memory that I will never be able to erase. She will forever have to look back on this day as the one where she was kicked out for being too big. To the manager, I hope that you are proud of yourself and how you represented a company today. You made a 6 year old cry. When all you had to do was come to an adult and we would have quietly left out of there and nothing else would have been said. I would highly suggest you look at your own core values and evaluate how you handle situations like this in the future because today was a complete failure on your part. After seeing pictures of the play place we found that the height "rule" was on the door that was being held open when we entered the play center so we never saw it. The rule is a max of 54" and surprisingly enough after measuring my child she is actually between 54 and 55". So had the manager actually handled the situation properly she would have found we were not grossly over the height limit. I ended up speaking to the owner and he praised his manager (Mary Ellen), her 12 years of service and raising a family of her own. Sounds to me like she should know better. The video had no audio which the manager would know and she completely lied about the entire interaction. She was lunging toward my child, ranting raving and completely being inappropriate. A 6 year old being told she is too big and to get out was uncalled for. She can't process that for anything but face value. The owner never took any ownership of the situation and completely backed his manager. When we were leaving we stopped the manager and she was specifically asked "are you the one that just confronted me in the play center" to which she replied "yes". She told the owner that she didn't know who we were when we approached her until she received the email from corporate. Point blank lie!
