I am very confused with the staff here. There were like 10 employees in the front taking orders and standing. They were quick to take my order but too busy talking and laughing! Mobil order took 30 min longer then initial time. The people in the back can see through the side window and for some reason they are pointing at me and laughing? Chick-fil-A--my go-to in a bind because it's close by my house and there's curbside pickup. I've come to this location to dine-in while at the mall, but my last 3 experiences were curbside service. Service is decent, relatively timely, and employees are always willing to give you extra sauces upon request. Given the holiday season and people's moods, they're doing great. I just have to say though, that unless you check your order carefully, there's often stuff missing. I ordered a salad my last 3 visits. I checked my order 1 of the 3 times (yeah, I know. Check it each time.) and 2/3 times they left out dressing, or the tortillas strips and pepitas, or SOMETHING. I know it shouldn't be a big deal, but if I'm paying that much for a salad with dressing, pepitas and tortilla strips, then I should get dressing, pepitas, and tortilla strips. I'm going to say it--it's disappointing when you're looking forward to those little things and it's not there. Do better, Chick-fil-A! Edit: Gave them another chance to do it right, they left out the salad kit once again. This time I remembered to CHECK, and as much faith as I wanted to have in the Chick-fil-a powers that be, they failed me once more. Chick-fil-A is one fast food place that reminds me a lot of being at school. My campus had a Chick-fil-A right nearby that I went to all the time when I was still living on campus. My go to is the spicy deluxe burger with waffle fries and a lemonade on the side. I'm a sucker for the lemonade. My favorite sauces are the Chick-fil-A and Polynesian sauce. They have similar taste make up, but different textures. It's a little bit confusing ordering on the app and going to pick it up when you first do it, but this method is much more safe and feasible for the current situation. Even though everything is fried, as long as you make it to the mall as soon as possible, your food should still be good by the time you receive it. when you get to the mall, you're going to pull up in the same direction as the food court, but pass it on the right of AMC. Continue straight until you get into the parking lot, and you'll make a left turn at the stop sign and your Chick-fil-A worker will be waiting there with your meal and a "my pleasure". read more

We and other three families took small kids to Arcadia mall to watch movie, after the movie, kids decided to have Chick-fil-A for dinner. Since we have more than 10 people we ordered a lot of food including a lot of chicken nuggets . At the time of picking up order we realized kids need to share the nuggets and kindly ask for some small plates and utensils. We were told there were no plates or utensils available and they can offer a bowl as plate but changes 30 cents each. We decided to let kids to hold chicken nuggets by using napkins. At the same time, we asked for cups of water. I guessed because we ordered 10 cups water, the lady who gave out order was in big shock, she said to wait and she will get that ready for us. Instead of getting us water, she went to her manager and asked for permission. When she returned, she literally told us to go back the line again to ask for water. I asked her why and she said nothing. I requested to speak to the manager who came to me and asked me if I order the water while paying the food. I told him we didn't but I would like to have water now while picking up the order. I told him I don't believe I need to go back to the line again and ask for it. He seemed like doesn't want to be bothered and filled 10 cups water for us right away. I personally go to this Chick-fil-a many times, drive through orders are always wrong but I never complained. This place is addicting. Only problem is that it's closed on sundays. But with what's going on lately, it's always great that they have curbside pickup and ordering ahead of time. I would recommend ordering on their app because you can yes order ahead but also get points for it. Sometimes I'll randomly get a free offer for a sandwich or breakfast item. Another good part is that you can use the points you've racked up to cash in for some fries or even an entire meal. If you go thru their drive through, they have about 5 sauces max for each meal and 2 sauces for each entree. If you don't want the kids toy they can always trade it in for ice cream instead. The people are always kind and courteous and it doesn't hurt to try asking for more sauce. It's free. They'll give it to you. read more

This Chick-fil-A works hard to keep customers satisfied and happy. It is crazy how they are operating a drive thru out the mall!! They are seriously dedicated. Food as always is top notch. Menu is uncomplicated. Parking garage is conveniently located behind the restaurant that's inside the mall. It may get busy so it's best to order ahead. This isn't 2019 where you can walk-in to anyplace and expect to get out in 5 minutes. I also don't like to wait, and that's why I go to fast food joints when I'm in a pinch. This review is based solely on the disorganization and poor customer service in their makeshift drive thru. The food itself is about the same as other Chick-fil-A, although it is usually colder because of the time it takes to pick it up due to poor set up and service at the curb. Of course these are strange times and the mall location is a problem, but you shouldn't have to wait 15 -20 minutes for your food after 3 different workers say they will get it then disappear. Not the first time this has happened. You shouldn't also have to deal with an assistant manager trying to blame the customer because her workers couldn't/wouldn't find your food in their restaurant. The amount of time I wasted here last night was uncanny. And the service was completely unprofessional and just plain effortless. I arrived at the drive thru 9:40pm (20 minutes before closing). Gracie was my order taker. When I first approached, she was conversing with a homeless young adult, who I over heard conversing to her about wanting to buy weed. The homeless man proceeding to offer drugs to by standers and people leaving the mall. Gracie seemed to be under the influence of something. It was hard to even to get her to understand my simple order. She then had to swipe my debit card twice because the first time it didn't "go through." So my order was completed at 2:50. Then we wait. It passes 10, ok not a problem. Then it turns 10:14 and I figured they may have forgotten about us waiting outside, so my husband enters the plaza. He was greeted again by Gracie, and when he was reminding her about our order she acted like she didn't remember our order, despite us being the last customers and being the last order she took. Then she all of the sudden remembers and calls the manager or shift leader, Liliana. She said she didn't receive our order that it was not processed. I honestly don't understand how that even happened, being the fact she swiped my card twice, and Gracie even read back my order. They just handed my husband 2 cards for a free chicken sandwich. I wasn't even upset about not receiving my food. It was because they left my family and I waiting outside for over 25 minutes and it didn't even occur to any of them to come outside and apologize for the inconvenience. They just forgot about us. I had my 1 year old in the car who was ready for bed and we are waiting in the car while he's fussing. Those who have kids understand the frustration and how over whelming it can be to have a crying kid in the car while your running an errand. Chick-fil-A please re evaluate your employees and shift managers. This was my first poor experience at this location and it was more than enough to not return here again. The Azusa location never gave me this trouble. The Arcadia location is just convenient enough for me being that I live, 7 minutes away. I will just be taking my business at the Azusa location even if the force is an extra 10 minutes. read more
