I don't know where they got the name for their fantastic Sycamore Sandwich, but it's a pastrami reuben with cole slaw instead of sauerkraut, and it very well could be the best I've had outside of New York. Thin, mostly lean pastrami stacked with Swiss cheese, coleslaw, and homemade Thousand Island dressing served hot on grilled rye bread. A heavenly handheld! The thin, crispy onion rings were cooked perfectly, to where the coating was almost falling off, and just oily enough to give moisture and flavor, but not greasy. The fresh, thin, hand cut fries were great by themselves but then add the beef chili and melted cheese, it could be a great meal by itself. Don't forget the Patty Melt, too. Old fashioned, comfort food that you order at the counter or drive through that's worth a side trip if you're anywhere close (or even not close) to Pasadena.

That kind of hospitality really sets the tone for a meal. We ordered the Pork Mungbean Pancake, Rose Tteokbokki (creamy rice cakes with fish cake and sausage), Bibim-Naengmyeon (spicy cold buckwheat noodles), and a whole fried chicken split into two flavors. Everything we ordered was delicious and tasty. For half the chicken, I went with the original but added green onion and their special oriental sauce drizzle. The other half was spicy soy garlic. I'll admit, I liked the original better. I second-guessed myself when the owner's daughter mentioned soy garlic was their number one most popular flavor followed by honey butter, but I thought I would be different and try the spicy version. The spice kind of drowned out that garlicky soy flavor, so lesson learned. Next time I am going straight for the soy garlic and honey butter combo. For drinks, we tried the Korean coffee and cold yuzu drink, both refreshing and a nice complement to the food. By the end of the meal, everything was so good that I even found myself asking about catering their chicken for future events. The vibe inside is really comfortable with soft K-pop playing in the background. It is just enough for atmosphere but not too loud, so you can talk easily. The only tricky part is parking since it is in a busy plaza with a lot of other restaurants, but at least it is free. Overall, this was one of the most unique dining experiences we have had recently, made extra special by Esther and her daughter's hospitality. I love supporting family-owned spots like this, and I will definitely be back to try that famous soy garlic and honey butter chicken next time.

I guess it was getting late and close up time for the dining room is 10p.m and it was after 9p.m already. There was a guy already cleaning up and his name was Francisco. Well I ordered 2 burritos . A Melty Pepper Jack Steak Burrito and Fresca Pepperjack Steak Burrito. It was Francisco who cashed me out for the burritos and provided a variety of Hot sauce including 2 Avocado Verde Salsa Sauce Packets as well. After I paid for my burritos I came back to the table I was sitting at. But my tray, napkins, and drink was gone. And well it just happened to be Francisco who was clearing and cleaning up my table and threw everything in the trash. Which in turn I said i was sitting there and I was going to use those napkins, tray and I wasn't done with my drink yet. Well as I am waiting for my 2 Burritos. Francisco continued with his cleaning and making sure to be quite thorough in his clean-up. So I proceeded to strike up a conversation with him and it proved to be quite enjoyable and we both had a few laughs as well. There is a hand handing me something and it turned out to be a KFC Chocolate Chip Cake on him because of clearing my table early and throwing away my beverage drink and napkins as well. Francisco in our conversation told me he has been with KFC/Taco Bell for 3 years if my memory is correct but for him it has been a great experience working at this food establishment. So having employees like people such as Francisco makes my visit at KFC/Taco Bell a truly enjoyable experience and I look forward to coming here more in the future whether its "Taco Tuesday" or not...!!!

This Chick-fil-A is my go-to spot! They're always fast, efficient, and incredibly kind, which makes every visit a great experience. Even though it's always busy, the service runs smoothly and the food quality is consistently top-tier. The food tastes amazing every time, and it's super convenient since it's located in the mall. I also love how many options they offer curbside pickup where they bring the food right to your car, in-store pickup, or ordering in person. No matter how you order, it's quick and easy. The workers are extremely nice, patient, and respectful, which really stands out. I love this place so much and I really enjoy eating their food!! I always go to the one near my local mall and the great thing is is that the line goes pretty fast. I may have been a little overconfident! When my food was ready, Patty brought it to my table with the same genuine smile she greeted me with. The food looked incredible, and the chicken was juicy and delicious--but after a few bites, I realized the Hot level was hotter than I had imagined. I laughed to myself and thought, "Next time, I'm definitely ordering one level lower." A few minutes later, Patty came back to check on me because it was my first visit. I told her the food was great, but I'd overestimated my spice tolerance. Without hesitation she said, "I'll change it for you." I immediately told her, "No, it's okay.
