I love Chick-fil-A and all, but why was the Spicy Deluxe Sandwich bun so crumbly? Was it not toasted enough? A gluten-free bun? It basically fell apart the more I held and ate the sandwich. The absolute worst experience I've had at a single establishment, if you can even call it that. I came to get a kids meal, not a kids meal with a side of attitude and mistreatment of employees. The workers were working hard as hell for that nasty manager to yell and berate them in front of customers. Not only that, I waited 15 minutes for a kids meal--chicken strips with mac and cheese--and when I received it, I got nuggets. If I wanted nuggets, I would've saved $2.00, but I didn't. Been coming to this location for years now and every time I come to mall. And yesterday I placed a mobile order as usual and then headed to the pick up station and waited literally half an hour. My drinks were already out then I finally asked one of the staff members and it turned out someone randomly walked in and stole my order?! I honestly do not know what is wrong with the workers at this Chick Fil A. In the app the company lets you select a certain number of sauces with nuggets, fries, etc. Either because they are too lazy or the owner has instructed them to ignore these requests, it is almost guaranteed that I will not get the variety of sauces that I ordered. What's up: Their chicken sandwiches are simple but yummy. I was excited when they opened up this location at the mall. It's just another opportunity to grab their sandwiches when I'm in the area. Parking: Parking is plentiful depending on when you go. Since this location is at the mall, it can get crazy busy. Park at the parking structure on the north end of the mall complex, near the theater side. Environment: Their "drive thru" is manned by a staff member located at the parking structure who will take your order and input it into their system. The mobile curbside pickup is also in the same area. If you go inside the mall, it's not too far away from the main food court. They have a pick up window on the side as well as an order counter and a handful of tables nearby. The last few times I've placed mobile orders. Going in to pickup was easy, just had to find a parking spot. Doing a curbside pickup was even nicer since they have spots dedicated to that. Staff members are friendly as always. Apparently this is yet another long awaited review from this local Chick-Fil-A from my former work town, Arcadia, CA. I have been taking out my work lunch from this branch of Chick-Fil-A, but how it got itself to 3 stars is beyond me. With the couple times' exceptions of someone getting my name spelled wrong on the receipt were just very minor issues. But I always got my orders correctly prepped and in due time with perhaps during a 45-min lunch break can get pretty hectic. Those are the only very minor issues I can think of. I always ordered their chicken nugget pieces, and I understand Inflation, so with their nugget pieces being smaller than McDonald's is really not their fault either. Seating here is very limited near the fast food joint but if you go to the food court, there is always a table that becomes available. The lemonade this time was extremely sweet so I requested it diluted with water. They give you sauce and my go-to is the Barbecue and Spicy Sriracha. This location in the Westfield Santa Anita mall is located adjacent to JC Penney, with a drive thru in the covered parking area. The selection is more than I anticipated, with wraps, spicy chicken and salads. Because it just opened, there were no crowds and the service was extremely quick. (+) Tables to sit down at I'm so glad to see Chick-fil-A (CFA) open at the Santa Anita Mall. It is located inside the food court where Jonny Rockets used to be. The employees are always polite and the orders come out very quickly. One thing I like is the seating area to the side of the restaurant. There is a lot of competition for tables during meal hours, but there are tables in an enclosed area only for CFA guests. The food is consistent with the rest of the chains, which is a good sign.
