The amount of time I wasted here last night was uncanny. And the service was completely unprofessional and just plain effortless. I arrived at the drive thru 9:40pm (20 minutes before closing). Gracie was my order taker. When I first approached, she was conversing with a homeless young adult, who I over heard conversing to her about wanting to buy weed. The homeless man proceeding to offer drugs to by standers and people leaving the mall. Gracie seemed to be under the influence of something. It was hard to even to get her to understand my simple order. She then had to swipe my debit card twice because the first time it didn't "go through." So my order was completed at 2:50. Then we wait. It passes 10, ok not a problem. Then it turns 10:14 and I figured they may have forgotten about us waiting outside, so my husband enters the plaza. He was greeted again by Gracie, and when he was reminding her about our order she acted like she didn't remember our order, despite us being the last customers and being the last order she took. Then she all of the sudden remembers and calls the manager or shift leader, Liliana. She said she didn't receive our order that it was not processed. I honestly don't understand how that even happened, being the fact she swiped my card twice, and Gracie even read back my order. They just handed my husband 2 cards for a free chicken sandwich. I wasn't even upset about not receiving my food. It was because they left my family and I waiting outside for over 25 minutes and it didn't even occur to any of them to come outside and apologize for the inconvenience. They just forgot about us. I had my 1 year old in the car who was ready for bed and we are waiting in the car while he's fussing. Those who have kids understand the frustration and how over whelming it can be to have a crying kid in the car while your running an errand. Chick-fil-A please re evaluate your employees and shift managers. This was my first poor experience at this location and it was more than enough to not return here again. The Azusa location never gave me this trouble. The Arcadia location is just convenient enough for me being that I live, 7 minutes away. I will just be taking my business at the Azusa location even if the force is an extra 10 minutes. read more

Staff needs to be better trained. Got to the mall, but did not get my order complete until 40 min later. Person who answered the phone told me drive thru is at the front of cheesecake. Had to call again to find out its thru the side mall entrance on the right past jumpin jammin. They didn't give me my condiments and was told they had to go back to get it. 10 min later, the guy comes out saying he forgot and asked to me wait again while he took care of other orders. read more

We love Chic fil a but this place has one of the worst ordering system since the pandemic! Every time ordering curbside, the wait is so long despite have making the order through mobile and only need to pick up. The line for curbside pickup and curbside order is the same. They took forever to bring the order out. And today, I ordered through my mobile app for carry-out pickup, not curbside since it's terrible, and my order went through, until the message that shows a team member is bringing my order out but I waited and I still didn't see mine (a gallon of ice tea). I went inside the Mall and asked if I could just take it and leave, apparently they ran out of gallon of ice tea!! But yet my order is processed! So either I got a refund or they gave me 4 cups of ice tea so I asked for a refund. Truly disappointed! What a wasted of time! read more

Very misfortunate experience with a Postmate's order here. Ordering about more than half an hour before they closed, we get our order delivered at about ~ 8:50pm. 3 chicken deluxes, 10 sauces, two orders of fries and two orders of chicken nuggets. We got the fries and nuggets, but only 2 sandwiches ? How do you miss a whole sandwich?? To top it off they only gave us two sauces. Upon calling the store, letting them know there were missing items from our order. We are told that it is 100% there and maybe we didn't check the bag "thoroughly enough." Upon reassuring them we did, in fact check, and we had missing items (keep in mind, receipt and order have correct quantity. Meaning Postmates isn't at fault here). We are told to take it with Postmates. Didn't even offer to correct the situation by offering to have us pickup the missing sandwich. Really unprofessional to assume every customer is the same, guys. Employees on mobile phone while working. I arrived and the guy told me to park and wait outside the mall (the mall is closed due to Covid) then somebody will bring out the food. He didn't even bother to check who the order is for. Then a lady came out with food, not the order I am picking up, brought out her phone and started sharing each other's phone. I've been here twice so far. Once before COVID and once after. I had a good experience both times. I always get the spicy chicken sandwich and occasionally a shake. The taste has always been consistent and the staff have for the most part been friendly or at least polite. The wait time isn't bad either so I'd recommend this place if you're looking to get something quick to eat. read more

I was so excited to learn that a Chick-fil-A would be opening within walking distance of my place! Unfortunately I would rate the Pasadena or Monterey Park locations better. For some reason, the sandwiches I've gotten here were assembled lopsided and every time I open the sandwich box, the sandwich would pretty much fall apart. The food quality at this location is not like the other locations. I've eaten here a few times before writing a review to see if it was a one off occurrence, but unfortunately it was not. Sometimes the chicken tastes weird, like to the point I spit it out because I'm afraid of getting food poisoning, the weird chicken taste has happened on 3 separate visits. The last time I ordered fries they looked so greasy and undercooked, it was such an appetite killer. The lemonade was good and so was the Mac n cheese, but after seeing other reviews of moldy fruit and expired milk (which are things I get for my daughters kids meal), I will probably have to trek to Pasadena for our food from now on, which is such a bummer because this location is so close to home. I just can't risk getting my daughter sick from poor food handling. This place really needs a health inspection, because something is not right. read more

Chik-fil-a was my childhood and it's one of my favorite fast food places. So glad one opened up in the mall and it hasn't disappointed me at all! The service there is great, the people are attentive and very nice, and overall amazing food. Also their sauces are to die for. Definitely would recommend coming to this location if you live close by or work in the mall. Spicy deluxe is my favorite and I always buy it and eat it later, still great when it's cold but even better freshly cooked. read more

I'm so disappointed with one of the manager's, if she is, attitude! I ordered a sandwich and a coffee. I specifically asked for creamers, meaning they of course would have automatically given me a stirrer. So I parked and ate for about 10 minutes. When I ready to have my coffee, I noticed I didn't have a stirrer! I drove up back to ask for stirrer. It took about 10 minutes for someone to get back to me then all of a sudden, this Shaden came to me and started being so nasty! I asked if I could have a hot one since I couldn't drink my coffee bc of lack of stirrer and she started saying " I don't know if I could do that, said they normally don't give out stirrers and more nasty remarks! Tonight was my first time visiting this new location i have been waiting so long for, and it was the Worst experience ever! Me and my girlfriend went in around 8:30, just 30 minutes before closing, and the employees were not attentive to any guests. Right when they were about to close i went up to the registers to ask for sauces to go and all 5 of the employees standing there did not Acknowledge me at all, even after i said "excuse me". One employee looked at me.. and then carried on his conversation with the rest of the crew, I stood there like an idiot. My girlfriend came up to the register with me and said "excuse me" to a worker as he looked Dead at her! And then he just kept on cleaning. They had a soft opening and lied about it. Very disappointed in what their marketing had to say about it. They created a soft opening to have the first 100 with games and prizes and possible food. But they said it was only limited to the city of people in Arcadia within one mile. They said it was not for friends or family or homeless people and it was designed that way by the marketing team to do what is best for their store to cater only to their customer market share. And they believe it is only with-in one mile of the store. They said I could still join the games and music but they will offer nothing to me and cannot win anything. I was going to join friends and family that live here, as I grew up here and still nearby. They told me they will check ID on everyone if they want to win anything or if they offer any food or drinks I will not be able to get any. It is only for locals and not for friends or families of guests either. I am disabled and a powerchair and been waiting for this to store to open. Now I never want to go back. They created a company based on I don't know what. It doesn't make any sense to me to make it one mile away. It doesn't make any sense to alienate your customers. And it doesn't make any sense that Westfield would even allow it. So you have an event in the mall and you are going to alienate probably 80% of your customer data base and exclude them for participating? Arcadia is super small! You can drive through the city in less then 2 minutes easily even with traffic lights! A customer is a customer. I know many people in Temple city and retired people who live a city away. The marketing on many times said its all about profit and what they believe is best for their customer base in who buys chicken and its about that and nothing personal to have grand openings and they been doing this all the time. read more

DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION ! the new employees are very terribly trained and will get your order wrong because they cannot handle the pressure of a long line . When their management gets involved they are very passive aggressive and even more in a rush to get you out of there store . I held this location to high standards and had nothing negative to say about them until the mall recently opened again and they cannot handle the pressure that come with it . Any other location I've been too has never had problems and been so rude about fixing them . I paid $30 for terrible service , rude employees and management , the wrong order and a terrible experience ! If I knew the employees names this yelp review would've been way worse , but make sure they repeat the order at least 3x back to you so you don't have to deal with the rude employees ! Wow! Sucks to say that my experience at this location for the first time was the worst. Horrible customer service. My boyfriend stood near the register to ask for some sauces, everyone was standing near but no one approached as he said "excuse me" but no one seemed to acknowledge him. As I approached as well, I stood there waiting for someone to notice me still nothing. An Asian guy walked near us and made eye contact. Favorite place to go, always. There is never a problem because there's always amazing service. Everyone practiced social distancing due to the pandemic of course which is much appreciated. I'm used to long wait times at Chick Fil A due to how busy it can get but I am not used to unpleasant service from them. All I ordered today was nuggets and lemonade, and was not given my drink at the cashier stand so I figured I would receive it at the window with the nuggets. When my name was called after about 20 minutes, I went to get my order, and I told the girl I still need my drink. She said oh yours must be the next order then. I was like no I'm pretty sure this is mine but missing the drink, and I showed her my receipt. She asked "they didn't give it to you already?" I wouldn't be asking for it if they had right? So she leaves to pick up more orders and finally hands me my lemonade. Forgot the straw but that's fine, I don't need it and neither does the planet. I understand they were busy and probably stressed out, but I would appreciate an apology at the very least. By the way none of the employees checked receipts or confirmed the order contents at the pick up window. I witnessed another customer pick up the wrong order when they called her name, and turned out it was for someone else with the same name as her. If she hadn't checked the bag she would've left with somebody else's food... The food here is all right, but this location would be much more efficient with some better organization and management. BEST CHICKEN , The food was very good and delicious but the customer service was terrible:( yes I know it's a fast food restaurant and sometimes things get hectic but when I was ordering a Thursday afternoon the cashier kept mocking me on the way I ordered. This was the first time for me at Chick - Fil - A so I was disappointed in them and when I received the food this older lady called out my name wrong "Alyssa" and she said "Eliza" yes I know not a big deal I knew it might be me so I went up to her and she practically shoved the bags of food in my face , honestly still great people and amazing cooks but for it being my first time there I felt Unwelcomed and I wish for them to be more calm n relaxed because they seemed like they were rushed and stressed . Other than customer service it was amazing food! I just think the cashiers and should be more relaxed and more confident that they'll do good throughout their shift.
