My sister and I both worked for Walt Disney World and I would compare Derric's service with that high level of courtesy and customer experience. HORRIBLE! Places an order for curbside pickup, arrived a few minutes later and checked in. I literally waited 30 minutes before calling the restaurant to ask where my food was. The girl had no idea and asked me 3 times what I ordered and my name, then magically found it. The drive through was empty, so they were not busy. Multiple cars arrived for curbside pickup after me and got theirs before me. I'm so pissed because now I will get in trouble at work for going over my lunch break. Also when I ate the sandwich it was cold and soggy. There is nothing more disgusting than a cold fast food sandwich. I consistently place large food orders from this location and my order is always missing something (sandwich, salad dressing) but my breaking point was this morning when I ordered 2 ten-count chicken minis. Used the app to order in advance and still waited 20 min after checking in curbside. I called to ask where my order was, and after waiting on hold I was hung up on. 5 min later my order shows up. Came here on a Saturday and despite seeing two lines for drive-thru outside, the bf and I decided to go in and enjoy our meal. I was very impressed with the quick service from the employees here. I barely chose a table to sit at as my food made its way over to my table. Well stocked condiments, friendly service, & a clean dining area was very much appreciated especially so when it's a weekend and the place be jumping. Doesn't appear to be as clean as other locations. When you sit at a booth, the walls are splattered with grease, crumbs next to the walls and flies hovering around. It doesn't seem to be a mess that just happened earlier that day either, it seems that a good thorough clean of the tables/booths is lacking. The employees don't acknowledge you while waiting at the pick up spot for mobile orders. I've been spoiled by other great Chick Fil As, like the one in Pflugerville, where cleanliness and employee conduct is top notch. This is my least favorite location in Austin. I suffer with a fruit food allergy and have asked for them to take out the fruit I am allergic to. The way they "accommodate for you" is to charge you extra for two fruit cups or give you less than half a cup of fruit. It is unfortunate that this Chick-fil-A is not willing adjust their policy like every other location in Austin has done. The cashier even said "a lot of people have said other locations do this but we won't". If this is a frequent request by customers, you would think that management would consider taking action. My husband and I just moved to Austin and the workers there were very racist. The restaurant was full I kindly asked if there were any booths because a few were dirty and one of the young ladies stated it was and she cleaned the table for us. After that she threw our food onto our table and went back with her coworkers and they all laughed. My husband and I then ordered an additional mobile order and the same girl saw it was for my husband and I and stated that she got it. She personally went to get the ice cream and handed it to me in a way that it almost fell and didn't say a word. No "here you go" nothing. So I went to sat down and asked my husband to go get the fries to see if I was overreacting and when he walked up the manager and the Caucasian girl who gave us the food we're laughing and looking still. My husband and I run a multiple 6 figure business and have had such a great impression of the area and Austin until we stopped here. RANT ALERT Honestly, Chick-fil-A is one of my favorites and we go way too often. I have never had a bad experience with a Chick-fil-A until we tried out the one on Ben White and Mopac next to the walmart. The first time I tried that store was through the drive through and they didn't have menus to look at nor were the guys taking orders very savvy with the menu or willing to let you look at their screen so of course our order was way off. When we got to the window I asked about the menu situation and a manager said they had just ordered some and they should be in within the week. He actually told me I needed to memorize what I usually get or come inside. Fast forward a month and (shame on me) we try the same Chick-fil-A. Still no menus. I ordered the kids meal with no apples (my 1 1/2 year old can't chew them well enough and my 4 year old says they taste sour). The manager comes to the window and says it's a new policy they can't separate the apples. I explain to her that we usually eat at a different location and it has never been an issue to order fruit without apples and that some people (aka my toddler) cannot safely eat apples. This was after a less than pleasant interaction with the cashier taking orders in the drive-through and the chick handing out food. All the workers there are mostly young adults and props to them for willing to work during a pandemic and still maintaining a high level of customer service skills!!! So this is the chick fil a closest to my job. I have stopped by at night after my shift before and could see through the drive through window a young girl picking at her face and making drinks. This was unsettling, considering I've worked in food service I know this is not proper food handling etiquette. The real reason I'm writing this review though is that I ordered today on the app lunch for a couple of coworkers and myself. We asked for one of the nuggets well done and the sandwich with extra pickles. When I got to the location, just about 30 min after I'd placed the order, the employee at the counter said "the order is not on the screen". I made sure to press the "I'm here" button, but she says it's not on the screen. I showed her on my phone that I had placed the order, and she still is telling me it's not on the screen, but they'll put it together anyway. It ended up taking just as long as if I would have just paid In store, and they forgot some of our sauces. On top of that, the nuggets were not well done and my sandwich had no pickles. I specifically asked for extra pickles and it had "no pickles" written on the sandwich. I get that it's a busy day, but overall, I was dissatisfied. read more

This is the first time I've ever really been upset at a chick-fil-a. The speed of how fast I got was amazing but there was major issues when it came to my order. I ordered one four count chicken minis, one ten count chicken minis, one frosted Carmel coffee, and one frosted coffee. The girl managed to mess my order up not once but twice. First by giving me a black coffee instead of a frosted coffee and then later i get home and there is no ten count chicken minis. It was 50 chicken nuggets. She read back my order after I corrected her on the coffee and said everything else correct. I won't be going back to this location. read more

I already know the food is good from this chain, but this is now my favorite location. The reason you may ask? A very cute blonde (I think? It was dark ooooookkkkk! Lolz) with awesome looking tattoos on her arm told me I smell good. I've been laughing about this for a while! That was the greatest compliment I've ever recieved in my life for the randomness and that she was kind of embarrassed that she put it that way (it was adorable). Very disappointed. Was there with our kids for about an hour total. No soap in girls bathroom until I asked, eating area messy and playground smelled like it had not been cleaned in awhile not to mention to temperature in the restaurant was very warm. I like chick-fil-a a LOT. every single food item I've tried was/is really good. I also like that they have healthier food on the menu, like the grilled varieties. but my favorite thing in the world is their various and numerous kinds of sauces. I'm am such a sauce person. I'll put sauce on anything. literally. the staff is friendly and efficient, the service is prompt, and I always appreciate that they come to your table to check on how everything is or if you need refills or whatever. that's always a plus. my only complaint is that the tables and floors aren't the cleanest. it's a pretty large staff, so I wish they would at least clean up people's mess. I always clean up after myself, but let's face it. there are more slobs on this earth than neat people. other than that, I love chick-fil-a! this one is my branch :) read more

This used to be the closest Chick-fil-A to Dripping Springs, and we used to drive in to eat here because it was 5 star. The food is still good, but the business is focusing on drive-thru to the exclusion of eat-in guests. I stopped here last week. One entrance to the parking lot was backed up with drive-thru traffic. The other entrance only accesses parking spaces along one side of the lot. If you don't find a space you have to leave the lot because you are not allowed to drive around the store to the other parking spots. I do NOT want to eat in my car so I'm feeling ignored. Well this is the first experience at this store and it wasn't a good one. I literally read my order off my phone to Ryan the "Team Member". Long story short...literally short a sandwich and one of my milkshakes was the wrong flavor. This happened when the place wasn't over flowing with car traffic. Now the kicker is that I had to drive 25 minutes to get home. Also, I want to apologize to all of the wives out there that tell their husbands to check receipts and especially orders from restaurants. When I arrived home I was so happy and ready to dig in and then that's when the kitchen lights and the air around me started to fade...oh no my WIFE and my daughter ( mini me of my WIFE!) This store was disappointing and I mean just this store. I usually go to the one just a couple of blocks down the road, but it's under construction. Also, I did call to inform them, but the resolution was to come back in...at the time of my order it was almost 4 pm on Friday and we all know that Austin traffic would be at a stand still for at least a hour. I politely informed the girl on the phone that I will not be back to that particular location and I disengaged the call. This has to be one of the biggest clusterf*cks in the organization. They spent 3-6 months on a remodel and remodeled the entire dining room. Then they decided to use a 3rd Drive thru lane now rendering the parking lot as being useless. What is the point of shutting down your building to re model the interior when the parking lot is what needed to be fixed. I went there tonight there was not a single parking space, the interior was rather empty and I had to park in the handicap. You all remodeled the interior to in turn cater more towards the drive through yet didn't remodel the parking lot. That's like wiping your ass and then taking a shit! read more

This location has been steadily declining. The last two times I've gone through the drive through, items were left out of the order. The food is not fresh made so everything is always cold. Clearly the owner is not involved and does not check in with this store on a regular basis. The fries served look like they were leftovers off of previous customers trays. Twice, in the span of one month, my order has been given to me incorrectly (large orders for an office). Thus, I have been over charged for my order each time. To be refunded I have to return all of the items; I am not taking away the food from my staff. This review is not in regards to the food quality, but about the ability to complete an order correctly. Went through the drive thru this morning both lights were green. I waited and no one acknowledged I was there. A pickup truck pulls up to the next drive thru. I hear a voice ask for there order, by that time a car pulls up behind the truck. The trucks order is taken, and I still hear no one acknowledge that I'm there. The car pulls up, then I hear some one ask to take there order. By that time I'm too p**ssed to order. Luckily no one was behind me, I backed up and left. If you're only going to take orders on one side TURN OFF the light on the other side. BTW.
