The fried chicken at Tracks and Surfside Club is way better than at Eugene's. The cole slaw is also better. My girlfriend is a native of Alabama and she was no fan either. I have tried a Mild & Medium. I think I could tolerate the Hot but that would still be a reach. Their mild is what many others would consider medium. Because of the wait, I ended up taking mine to go on the most recent visit even though I originally intended to dine in. Even to go the food was excellent! Despite how busy they were the staff remained pleasant and provided a great experience. I love the decor both inside and out. The music is a little on the loud side and could make conversation difficult if you have a larger group dining in. Maybe try the patio seating area instead. I wish it was closer to home, I would probably visit more often.
