Absolutely love the food but love the service even more. I went there with my brother to pick up some food for my mom who was in the hospital. Our server asked how we were doing and when we told him the situation he gave us two free sandwich coupons. We were so impressed and it really helped brighten our day at a difficult time. Wow where do I start! The line was kind of long in drive through so I was hesitant of going through, but it went super fast so that was awesome! I ordered a pretty big order and was changing my mind on some things and they were extremely patient with me, I was very grateful. When I got my order there was a mistake so I went inside and asked for the right sandwich, they let me keep the mistake, gave me a new sandwich free and gave me a card for a free sandwich at a later time!!! They have one of the best customer service I have ever experienced. As I watched the employees while I waited, they have the cleanest procedures and I actually feel safe to eat here. My son went to get lunch for us while I was getting my chemo. While ordering he ordered chicken strips for Mr they asked if he wanted to make it a meal and he said that no she is getting chemo and could not eat all that. I have eaten at lot of Chick Fil A's around the country. This one in Boise at some of the nicest staff around. The food is the same great quality it's at the other restaurant. This one is close to Boise State University and easy walking distance to the stadium. read more

When compared to other fast food type restaurant there big juicy chicken breast sandwiched blow everyone out of the water. My daughter loves there chicken nuggets. Im not a big fan of her eating chicken nuggets anywhere else. Chick fil A is fresh and clean. There fries are salty and crispy and usually always fresh. The sauces are also amazing i recommend the chick-fil-a sauce which is by far my favorite. Very good for dipping fries, nuggets, and even your chicken sandwich. My daughter and i love there lemonade. I have since been back numerous times and service has always been super friendly. I'm usually there in the morning for my chicken breakfast burrito, and Chris (if I'm recalling correctly) is super sweet. The quality (dry tortilla) and size of the burritos can vary pretty widely from time to time but not matter as they're always delicious. read more

I'm a fan of Chic-fil-a and this one doesn't disappoint. Employees are friendly and helpful (the morning manager Dominic is especially awesome!). Food is always hot and delicious. Location is great--- close enough to downtown to be accessible, but still have easy parking and not a pain to get in/out of. I will add the one caveat that the first few months this location opened, they would slightly mess up my order about 1/3 of the time (spicy sandwich instead of regular, etc.) which was frustrating. I put a note about this in the "suggestion" box, and something changed. I don't think I've had a messed up an order since then. Great job! read more

People either seem to love or hate Chik-fil-A- and I don't mean because of their politics. I am on the love side because of the basic Chik-fil-A sandwich. Sometimes I like 'frills' in my food, but most of the time simple, tasty and filling will do the job. A bun, some dill pickle and a wonderfully seasoned fried (or broasted maybe?) chicken breast are all that it takes at this chicken shack. In the mood for a bit of a breakfast mix up? Try the chicken egg and cheese bagel. The sunflower seed bagel seems more steamed than toasted, and proportionality of chicken versus egg versus cheese (to me) is a perfect one. They DO have deluxe sandiwches for those who simply can't live without lettuce and tomato, they offer salads, a chicken salad sandwich and a few other options too. Their waffle fries are okay. But the basic chicken sandwich holds the spotlight for me at Chik-fil-A. One serious warning I will give is about the location. The corner of Broadway & Front is a busy one, getting in and out of the parking lot can be time consuming and tricky- so be sure to five yourself plenty of time to get your chicken on! read more

I went to this chick-fil-a and I go here all the time.... but when I got there through the drive through my card was declined which I totally was fine with not getting my food but then this manager starts yelling at his coworker because she was going to give me my tea which is the only thing I ordered everyone else was fine but that manager was so rude and we have had many many problems with him. First and last time I'll visit. I asked the very polite and friendly voice over the intercom what they recommended as I was a first time visitor. I ordered the number one. My niece is always going on about their waffle fries so I decided against the salad even though it looked mighty tasty in the photo. Service was a bit slow in the drive thru but the staff was 5 STAR. The two individuals I interacted with were very friendly, helpful and polite. Unfortunately, they were let down by their product. Some of the waffle fries were alright. First off they were hot, always a plus. Nothing worse than cold fries. However, some were cooked more than others and those that weren't were greasy and soggy. The sauce for the fries was interesting, not exactly something I would have chosen and i really didnt like it but it was an interesting change from ketchup and fry sauce. The biggest disappointment of all was the chicken sandwich. It was a mostly dry bun with 6 pickles and a overdone chicken fillet. I had hoped that it was just a little darker than normal but would taste fine but unfortunately it tasted burnt. I love pickles but 6 was a bit much since there was nothing else on the bun and the top bun was a bit soggy from pickle juice. I gave a few bites a try before tossing it and half the fries that were under cooked. I'm out almost 7 bucks and still hungey. So much for a quick lunch before work. read more

I know 5-stars for a fast food place is a little over rated but i honestly couldn't find anything wrong with the place. Clean, professional, and fast. Also good food. I frequent this location about 3 timesva month for breakfast and dinner. Their staff is so friendly. And the food is always fresh tasting.

We love chick fil a their food is consistently amazing and this location is no exception. The service was amazing, every single staff member was so friendly and helpful. We were asked a couple times if we would like a refill, they are very attentive. The restaurant was spotless, bathrooms really clean also. Really upset with the service at the downtown Broadway store. Our credit card has a split in it so it won't read correctly, so we needed to manually enter our credit card number. We've had to do this before, and this same manager at Chic-fil-A was nice to us last time. Well this time we went in and had to do the same, so a girl asked the manager to complete the transaction for us, and the manager just looked at us for a moment and said no. I would only be angry because I felt like it just seemed judgmental because we look like young college kids, but also she allowed a person before us to manually enter a card number. That was extremely frustrating and only seemed to confirm that she was judgmental on our appearance and age. read more

I would take my kids a few times a week but I am just tired of having them miss ingredients on my sandwich, sometimes food is cold, thinks I didn't even order i get, tonight I waited for about 15 minutes on my order because they messed up on someone else's order, I can hear them apologizing to people in front, finally got to the window no apology for the wait nothing just the amount, what a joke, I am done with this. Used to be a "Raving Fan" of Chick-fil-A and while we are still devoted to the mother company, this location does not do the corporate reputation well. In fact, it is harming it. The original owner moved to the new Franklin store (because he wasn't making enough $ at this location) and the interim manager is acting like just that--here for a few months, "so who cares? I'm living off corporate." We believe "Attitude reflects leadership" and her employees follow suit. While generalizing, most employees are often unkempt, out of uniform, sloppy looking and I've observed one woman on two different occasions touch her hair and then immediately touch a customer's food/drink. When I saw this, I asked her to wash her hands before she continued waiting on me and she acted offended. Seriously? Have I mentioned how ridiculous their wait time is? Their drive through is often 10+ cars deep and they are sitting there...waiting and waiting and waiting. CFA usually prides itself on having one of the fastest drive-thrus...not true at this location. And it is no better inside. They are often unprepared going into the lunch hour causing lines to the back door. Once, when my food was taking forever (and I was one of about 3 waiting for food), they told me they were "busy." Are you kidding? Then someone confessed that they didn't have a breader in the back! Today I went in to partake of the "free" breakfast item...and no kidding, after waiting over 12 minutes for a *simple biscuit,* they finally gave it to me in a to-go bag (with no apology whatsoever) after having told them I was dining in. The guy before me and the two ladies after me had the same experience. BUT, they somehow prioritized 5 cars in the drive-thru (I was told, "Well, they had a spicy biscuit." So, again, why did they get served before me when I had clearly ordered before them?" No answer.) Turns out they were waiting on biscuits. Again, poor management. If it's a free day, you best have items ready to go! And they also didn't have any honey which means leadership didn't order the last truck with foresight. This Raving Fan has become a Ranting Foe of this particular location. I cannot believe I am about to say this: Spend your time and money elsewhere until they find proper leadership for this establishment.
