Quality customer service. Great food. Can't go wrong with Chick-fil-A for a fast food run!

This used to be my favorite chic fil a in the area. They closed down to remodel and expand the location. Since that time, it has all gone down hill. The drive through is disorganized, the service is mediocre, and the food at times can be overcooked . The employees talk about their personal activities rather than focusing on providing good service. They are in desperate need of new management and to re-train their employees. I stopped going to this location and go to the other one in Bowie because it has been just that bad. Please get your act together. read more

I have held back on giving a review for a long time. Chick-fil-A has usually been a very consistent company across the country. And it has previously been very rare that they get my order wrong. However, this location continues to stoop to new lows. I have sat in the Drive-Thru for ridiculous amounts of time unable to turn around and leave because of the new structure after they rebuilt the location. I have had orders that were either completely wrong or incomplete. having to turn around and go back to standing and waiting for another 10 to 15 minutes is not my idea of fun, especially after sitting in the Drive-Thru forever. Today I ordered a breakfast combo with a parfait yogurt. Many times in the last several months, whenever I ask for yogurt parfait I ask for granola and an extra bag of granola. I would say over the last 10 requests they've gotten it right once. Usually I have to ask for an extra bag at the window after having already requested it at the drive-thru intercom. Today for me was the last straw. I looked in the bag at the window and once again asked for an extra bag of granola. I got to work and opened it, only to find that they gave me two bags of roasted nuts. WTH?! Not what I requested! And I'm now I'm in my office and stuck with this foolishness. It's frustrating having spent money on what I did not ask for it. The only reason I'm giving them two stars is for their past consistency. However, I see them starting to sink to the levels of the other fast food restaurants that have not been able to maintain such high quality service and food product. And please talk to your employees. When they respond with the generic "my pleasure". It's obvious they don't mean it. Actions speak louder than words and it's apparent that it is indeed not their pleasure. read more

Today was the first time I had anything less than excellent service at chick fil a. I was trying to run through the drive through at 930. In chick fil a fashion there was a line but that is to be expected. I pulled up and the two girls outside that were on tablet duty were sitting on the sidewalk chatting. My issue is they both looked at me in the line and continued to sit there and not move. They said nothing when I backed up and pulled in a parking space and went inside. I placed my order at the register with a very nice young lady in training. I asked her if the girls that were outside should be taking orders she said yes. I let her know about what just happened she apologized and thanked me for coming inside and ordering. Our whole conversation was polite and professional. read more

We waited 20 minutes (from order to completion) for a simple mobile order of two entrees. Our Order didn't have any special requests. I had to go into the restaurant and intercept the person who was supposed to deliver the mobile order. The chicken was lukewarm and fries soggy. I'm a frequent customer at this chickfila purely because I love chickfila and this is the closest one to my home. But I Barely ever get my order in its entirety. It seems like there is always something missing when I go through the drive thru so I have to go back in to get everything. It really makes me want to stop coming to this chickfila restaurant but it is the most convenient for me. Really wish they would get their service to a higher quality. read more

Drive thru is getting worst it took me 25 mins in line to get my order. The attendant didnt confirm my order so I had to change it in the payment window. Also the guy that was being replaced(shift change) was complaining about a customer infront of me with her co worker that a customer wanted him to go under the sun to get the other customers order while waiting in line (like most of chick fi a). He was talking to her co worker and I had to cut him off because I cant order. What in cows name is going on. Management needs to be ontop of this ASAP. Your chicken sandwich is not better than popeyes but the only reason I'm going here is because of fast service and customer service. This place is busy I was discouraged at the drive thru line but I seen other Chik filas work the drive thru well so I tried it to see how long it would take. It took about the same time as wendys with no line only a few minutes. Food was good as any other location and of course friendly staff. read more

Not all chick fill a are created equal. I was disappointed to learn that this chick fill a does not honor turning in the kids meal toy for a cone. Frankly it's the little things like this that separate chick fill a from the rest. When the manager said no it makes that chick fill a seem petty. But my biggest frustration was in the manner the manger said no to me, she seemed angry and annoyed that we would even have suggested that. It made me angry her tone. Employee was rude. I was waiting for my order for a while and I heard 1 crew say my name and placed my order in front of this girl named M__a. This girl was talking to another employee and was totally ignoring me. So I asked politely if that was my order and she said yes but still continued to talk to the other employee. How can you not love Chick-Fil-A?!?! They make the best chicken sandwich! Their chicken sandwich is THE reason for coming to the place. Ok, ok...their waffle fries are also THE reason for coming. Chick-Fil-A has just recently added an option to have wheat buns instead of white buns. Either buns, your sandwich is still just as tasty! Sweet tea is wonderful there...if they make it right. Some days you'll get the best tea and other days you won't. Their lemonade is wonderful! They've just started selling milkshake. Don't get them. They still need to perfect their milkshake. Right now, they just have too much milk. Services are quick. You don't wait long for your food. Sometimes, they'll have someone walk around to refill your drinks. Or you can just walk up to the counter and ask for a refill. You'll always be greeted with a friendly face. Despite being such a busy place, it's always clean, including the restrooms. There's a playground for kids to keep them busy. I think on Tuesday nights, they have a clown making balloon things for kids. If you ever order the party platter from Chick-Fil-A, get the nugget one. The nugget platter is bound to be popular and devoured quickly among your friends. It's a bit pricey but well worth it! read more

In general, I love Chick-fil-A BUT this particular location has NEVER gotten my order right. No matter what I actually order, I end up with a cookies-and-cream milkshake (which is ironically my least favorite). Every freaking time. Their mobile ordering always messes up so you can never just drive through or do curbside - you'll always have to go in and/or wait. And there always seems to be trash all over the parking lot. One star might be a little unfair since the food is still good (minus the milkshakes) but it's the worst Chick-fil-A I've ever gone to. read more

Great service. My daughter and I went on the weekend and they had order takers and services outside in the parking lot. I guess this is how it almost would have felt to have car hops back in the day. I visited this location at about 9:00 on a Friday morning (8/31/18) and my family and I had a " Not so Chic-fil- A experience. The food was fine but the service was awful. It was not the type of service that U have come to expect from Chic. NO one said "My Pleasure", there were no table mats for young children and there was not a lobby attendant to be found. We had to refill our own drinks and wipe our own table. The line was long and the service was slow. Some of the employees attire was inappropriate for Chic ( shirrs not tucked,stains on shirts and general messiness. I feel it was Poor Management skills. This Chick-fil-A's mobile ordering crew is a joke. Ordered three times and each time they messed up my order. The third time, it turned out they didn't have any chicken noodle soup--which I included in my order--but they didn't tell me that when I picked up my order. I only found out when I was in the car to check the items and found no soup and instead there were 2 cookies! You'd think they'd have some decency to inform their customers during pickup that an item was not available, but no - they didn't bother and just "replaced" the soup with cookies without even telling me. Got here at 11:45am on a Friday-----In the 3hrs I've been here waiting on the boyfriend to get off work, the manager(a nice brutha) sat at my table, asked how I wAs doing and then said his heart is broken that I missed my flight to the islands. He has given me free coffee, offered me free food, gave me a book to read and said anything I need just let him know and it's mine. This chick fil a is always packed whether inside or drive thru. However it could be because their food is always hot. I've never been disappointed yet, with my favorite, waffle fries. Today we had breakfast which was chik n minis and bacon egg and cheese biscuit. Again always on point. But I can say the customer service is always polite and helpful so that why I don't mind waiting. I gave 4 stars only because of the long lines. read more

Losing hope In this location honestly. This one used to be the place to go for that breakfast run and last call on Saturday nights. It's not perfect but they set the bar pretty high. Recently though, this location has been missing the mark consistently. I've had very long wait times and have actually had to let them know what I ordered. I've had consistent orders with items missing or incorrect items. I've seen times where behind the counter was disorganized. My family members have complained about the same issues. Today for example they botched my breakfast order and again it's been consistent. I don't know whether is the management or that employees aren't adequately prepared for the volume of customers (which hasn't been a real problem until the last four or five months) but this location has gotten consistently inconsistent. I'm seriously thinking about ditching this location and going further up to another. 10/12/2019 update Yeah, never again will I do their mobile order. This isn't the first time I been there waiting for my food and everyone gets their food before I do. 20 minutes (I know but I try to be polite because they are busy) but the part that irritated me was there was no haste in tracking my order and they were like did you put it in at another location/ our system misplaced your order. I loved this location but not Im reevaluating my loyalty. If you're planning to go to this location just do the walk in. It's more efficient and more effective...well it used to be. read more

As much as I love eating here and have to have it at least twice per week, I have been avoiding this location. The dining room is still not open and the drive through is ridiculous. The staff truly goes above and beyond! They really care about their service in the community and their community as a whole! We patronize this particular restaurant on a regular basis. There was one time I ordered from the app and forgot to change my address from work to home. The driver called me when he got to my office and learned that we had all left hours ago and then he brought the food to my house, which is way closer to the restaurant. I, then again made the same mistake the following week and he immediately picked up on it and made sure to bring my food to my house. How thoughtful! My visit here was the worst! I came through the drive through and the girl taking my order constantly rushed me after each item I ordered by cutting me off with "Is that it?!" I had 5 orders for myself, my wife and kids. Then as I drove around to the receipt stand, the young lady there waited until I passed by to beckon me to stop for a receipt. I back up and she couldn't print it for me. I get to the window and receive my order only to realize my order was wrong because we were rushed and didn't get to tell the young lady what size drink and fries we wanted with our meals. I made the person at the window aware and she made me have to buy a whole new drink instead of correcting the mistake. I get home and then realize my fries in my meal we're not the correct size that I SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR because I say the same order EVERY time I buy chick fil a. Then I get home and realized, I never got my receipt... It is Important to listen to what people are saying to you in the food industry. I will never come back to this location. Too many teenagers running the restaurant from my point of view and if the customer service stinks here, as it's the brand standard for every chick fil a to make the customer feel like "it is your pleasure" to serve them, then I'd hate to think about how there are short cuts being taken to clean the kitchen or even some of the precautions in reference to COVID-19 that are not being taken seriously. Stopped by today around 2:30pm today , 10/31/16 Halloween! The place was packed ( as usual) but super busy for 2:30pm on a Monday - guess a lot of ppl left work early for trick or treating. I walked in and was immediately greeted with a smile and all the people at the counter were SO nice and friendly. Welcoming everyone with s smile and good cheer ! I had a coupon for a free grilled chicken sandwich and asked if I could substitute it for a traditional sandwich, she's like , " no problem!" We were driving through the area and stopped for a quick bathroom break and dinner. The bathroom was adequate--cleaner than McDonald's, but below par for most Chick-fil-As. Our first server was very nice and accommodating. We got our sandwiches and headed to the car. As we were about to pull out, we discovered that we hadn't received our fries. I ran in to ask for them and got a different server from the first time. She asked to see my receipt, which I had left in the car. She was neither polite nor apologetic that their mistake meant I had to run back out to the car. I retrieved the receipt, showed it to yet another server and was given the fries. Powerhouse chic fila the line for drive thru always is wrapped out to the street but for as long as it is they sure do get thru it quickly. The workers are also pleasant too which sets them apart from all fast food, this chic fila and the bowie Taco Bell on Annapolis rd are the friendliest fast food drive thru joints ever! The fellas and I are amazed at what just took place. The service at this location is impeccable. Friendly staff across the board, relatively quick transactions, and even more impressive - they serve you at the table.
