The chicken was alright at first but then I could tell soon enough that it was pretty salty. I didn't care for the additional sauce options. I chose a white balsamic vinaigrette and a garlic aioli which is so much garlic. Customer service was fine they answered all my questions on what everything was. There's no labels or signs that say what the item is. Unless u follow the menu word for word which is not possible when u have to decide faster. Love Naked farmer but the energy is off at this location that it has caused me to have so many bad experiences that I gave up coming forever. Everything from having a gloves directly touching my food (thumbs in my food specifically) to rude and unsimpathetic management, to incorrect charges on my bill. The food is good. Best Mac and cheese ever. Unfortunately energy needs to shift. I'd start with a fresh manager and team and have an owner overseeing this facility more closely. It doesn't live up to the original location in Tampa. Update 6/3/26: came in to give another try. 3 fingers with gloves in my food as I was being served. I told the gentleman and he said "we have gloves on" as he was touching his screen for the order snd counter with the same gloves . Gloves mean nothing. I chose to leave and not eat here. Such a disappointment that they are so careless with cleanliness even after the issue has been ongoing and they have been made aware of it. Also if a customer is not happy with gloves I'm the food, you probably should just offer to replace the bowl and make it right but the employees don't care. *Owners take note* unfortunately your management doesn't care and you won't be aware of this ongoing issue. read more

We were in Sarasota for the weekend and decided to stop by for dinner. As first timers, we checked out the menu online first. We loved the concept: fresh food prepared in-house. Produce and meats from local farms. Wholesome food, unique flavors, and lots of dairy-free options. My husband ordered the Faroe Island Salmon for his protein and I ordered the Honey BBQ Chicken. He said the salmon was phenomenal, and I enjoyed the chicken as well. We also ordered a bunch of vegetables on the side. The cucumbers were my favorite side and I did not care for mac & cheese. This is a cafeteria style restaurant, not full service. It's not clear one the website, so I thought I would mention this. The food is kind of pricey, but for the portion sizes we received and the quality of the food I think it's worth it. I had leftovers to take back to our hotel. Such a cute, casual spot to have a quick bite to eat. I love the local farm shoutouts and just the fact that everything is so fresh. The menu changes seasonally to reflect what is growing and the flavor profiles are amazing with the sauces. The service was spectacular; everyone was quite helpful. Wow. I ordered food to go and holy cow this was so freaken delicious. Straight 5 stars. I have no idea how the heck the seasoned the corn as well as the oyster mushrooms but it is freaken mouth watering deliciousness. Salmon was good, cooked correctly and didn't taste fishy or anything like that. Will definitely be ordering from here again in the future. We stopped in because the place we were going to try for brunch was closed, But, we are so glad we had the chance to check out the Naked Farmer. The food was amazing. My family was so shocked the chicken was not dry. The food actually had true homemade qualities and were healthy. My kids loved it all. There should be locations everywhere. What we ordered. We got 3 make your own meals. I got the farro/squash, with rosemary chicken, Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. I shared with my daughter who only ever wants French fries. She loved the chicken and picked off of everyone else's plates to try things too. My son got the charred chicken with broccoli and rice and Mac and cheese. My husband got the mushrooms as his protein. So yummy! for all the Mushroom fans out there, he also got the tomato pesto side and the corn salad. Both quite tasty, As for the dressing, I think i chose the best one called maple sriracha. The green pesto came second. Even with me sharing with my little girl, none of us could finish our bowls, and we all skipped breakfast. The restaurant itself was so cute. Clean, thank the lord. It was super cozy, like home, with beautiful decor. The service people were a little grumpy, and they did not want to deal with us newbies. Maybe they're tired from the holiday hustle and bustle. But finding a place to get a quick bite with such great, healthy food is worth it all. We are thinking of getting Christmas dinner early from here. Food was delicious filling fresh and displayed beautifully. Staff unfriendly all except for one tall young lady with a huge smile and glasses. We arrived at 6:40 Wednesday evening 3-4-26, and placed our order for our first visit. Ordering is confusing no clear prices but we just used the website on our phones to place our order. Silverware hard to find had to ask for location no disposable offered and we didn't care for drink selections as they were products we haven't ever used before, as we just wanted a cup of water and ice but found they don't have any. We found water by silverware but disappointed that the glasses were splattered and dirty. We figured out why the glasses were dirty and the silverware was dirty while dining we watched customers clear their food containers by tossing them in the trash hole which is right next to the clean glasses which got splattered on by remaining sauces left in their food containers. Also very hard to find where to put silverware for cleaning and that is when we witnessed people putting dirty silverware in the containers full of clean silverware. Very bad set up can't believe this setup will pass with health inspectors. The final factor was the food was not hot and none of the food on display had thermometers to check serving temps. Staff had long hair some pulled back some not, and the men's hair was plenty long and full with no protection net or hat. This place needs supervision, food served hot, and clean utensils, disposable clean cups, and drinks with ice!! We may be back if we see changes otherwise not worth getting sick from poor sanitary practices. Does anyone take Food Safe Serve Classes anymore? So sad because this place has such a refreshing vibe but come on our health is important, and you wonder why influenza is running rampant in town. I'm confident Naked Farmer can take charge of these issues quickly. We will be watching. read more

What a pleasant surprise to find a restaurant that serves locally sourced and seasonal farm foods! Today they had an arrangement of foods including sweet potatoes, broccoli, corn, homemade macaroni and cheese and much more. How would I describe this place? Delightfully healthy. Solid foods, fresh, well cooked. No preservatives here! The only down side was that some of the staff serving the food did not know all the ingredients in the foods. Husband - kale, chicken thighs, Brussels sprouts and broccoli. Again, delicious! The broccoli was still crisp with light char marks - so perfect in our book. I have eaten at the Naked Farmer in St Pete and twice now at the one in Sarasota. The first visit to this Naked Farmer was extremely salty. Thankfully, the second visit was a bit better. The overall quality and quantity of food was much better in St Pete. This last visit was my first time dining in. The plates were wet and didn't seem super clean, maybe they were, but there was water on them. I appreciated the water station. I'm hoping kinks can be worked out and food will be less over cooked and portion sizes better going forward. Some of the staff are great, but in general, there is an unwelcoming feeling from beginning to end. I also don't like the tip culture at checkout for cafeteria style restaurants. The carrots were excellent. The quinoa was very cold, which was odd for a warm/non salad bowl of food. More menus and signage would be helpful. Also, when paying cash, we were told no change is provided. The cashier said the change can be put on a gift card. If I am paying with legal tender (cash), change should be provided. read more

Don't let that put you off ... ALL the food choices are 100% delicious and both simple and creative with a meat or fish protein to add at the end. I grew up in a Restaurant and an excellent chef. If you want an excellent largely healthy meal without breaking the Bank this is the place. We ate in but would recommend to go if you need less clamor. Spoke to one of Mgr/Owners, a young man that is one of Owners who runs 3 of their 7 stores and can see they'll be around.... I really wanted to like the Naked Farmer because I saw the food presentation online and it looked very good and freshly prepared. I ordered the bowl with the charred chicken, sweet potatoes, rice and broccoli. The presentation was ok (it was delivered) but the meal was so charred. The broccoli tasted burnt and the chicken didn't have a lot of flavor (plus I couldn't tell of it was white meat breast or the darker meat thigh) The sweet potatoes and rice pilaf were pretty good and the rice pilaf and the rice was still moist with some flavor. Overall the taste was not great and I wasn't loving it. I would have thought for the price, it would have been a really high quality chicken breast with some herbs and flavor to it (also the garlic aoli was intense, and almost a burning taste because of too much garlic). I also think the overly charred taste was not appetizing because it tasted burnt. I don't know if I'll try another dish if I go to the cafe at UTC but for now I think I'll pass on delivery. read more

After 3 days of amusement park food my body was craving vegetables, greens and protein that wasn't deep fried. We tried as much as we could on the menu and everything was delicious!!
