This was an unpleasant Chick-Fil-A experience. Long drive thru lines as well as rude attendants contributed to it. Waited in the drive thru line for 40 minutes. The attendants charged my card and then when I got to the window to receive my order, they rudely informed me that I had not paid. So I had to pay again. When I informed the staff of the issue with their POS system from their attendant taking orders in line, this was met with rude and rebuffing responses. Unpleasant experience overall. Not typical of a CFA franchise. read more

Chick-fil-A is located at 70 Golden Isles Plaza near on the other side of Spur 25 from the Brunswick Mall. This is a very good chain that serves up a great breakfast. One of my personal favorites is the bacon egg and cheese biscuit. For lunch their salads are great and you can't beat their chicken sandwich. Their milkshakes and wraps are also very good. read more

We stopped here on road trip on the way home from Florida. The drive thru line was very long but we decided to wait because the kids really wanted Chick-fil-A for lunch. While waiting in the drive thru, the car behind us broke down. My husband and another customer got out to help the lady whose car broke down. They helped her push the car to a safe spot in the parking lot. The manager of the Chick-fil-A came out to personally thank my husband and after we ordered, we were notified that our entire order would be free. Wow, talk about a surprise! We had a large order so it was very much appreciated! The food was delicious, hot and fresh - as always at Chic-fil-A! Thanks for the great customer service, you have a customer for life! read more

This is the slowest Chick-fil-A I have ever seen. Cars in the drive through don't move for over 5 minutes at a time, and then only haltingly. They have two drive through lanes but I can't figure out why. You could etch orders in stone in the time it takes them to make it. Just go inside. Drive-thru takes longer than parking and waking inside. Expect to spend 10-15 in the drive-thru AFTER giving your order to the employees who stand outside in the cold. I understand it may be company policy to have them stand out in the freezing cold, but it certainly doesn't make sense to me because it doesn't seem to make anything go faster. I also suggest checking your order before driving off. I've had issues with two orders so far. However, when I did call about one of them, one of the managers (Ms. Brown) was very helpful and put my name in a book to get it corrected next time I came by. When I came by the next time, a different manager (older white lady) had no idea who Ms. Brown was until one of the younger workers reminded her. The order did get corrected because my name was indeed in the book. I worked at CFA over a decade ago when I was in highschool. Certainly, the quality assurance at this location is not where it should be. read more

The employees aren't your typical happy, courteous, so anything for you chick-fil-a employees you find at other locations. They work super slow and very non-engaging and matter of fact. Got into the drive thru line at 10:05 obviously wanting breakfast and I noticed that they did not have anyone outside taking orders like every other chick fil a I've seen does which should of been my indicator to just leave and not waste my time but I stayed anyway. At 10:30 on the dot sure enough they came and changed the sign to lunch so we exited the line and so did at least 5 or 6 other cars. Terrible location- avoid at all costs unless you are okay with cold food and bad attitudes from staff and management. I have lived in Brunswick for about 8 months now, and despite only comimg in maybe once every few weeks, already I have encountered too many good quality issues to count. During the summer, I received still raw in the center chicken nuggets in my kid's meal, and encountered the first of several instances of cold, dry chargrilled chicken sandwiches, one of which resulted in my getting sick around Christmas. Additionally, I have received numerous orders of tepid fries which are too cold to eat by the time you actually get your order, and have even witnessed staff cutting corners when an issue of food quality is brought to their attention. Not only are they oftentimes rude about it (only an older lady is ever apologetic about it or willing to do anything to fix the problem, I wish I knew her name, it's a pity she isn't management), their behaviors are downright dangerous at times. One such example of this is when a friend of mine who has a life-threatening cherry allergy asked for a milkshake with no cherry or whip and sent it back because it had whip and cherry on it, only to have the exact same milkshake returned to her with the whipped cream scraped off, still tinged faint pink from the cherry. She told them she had a cherry allergy when the order was placed- they should have paid close attention to that and not messed up the order to begin with, and sending the same shake back to her could have killed her if she hasn't insisted they make a fresh one as it was originally ordered. I quit going to this location altogether for several weeks after Christmas because I got sick from eating two bites of a stone cold grilled chicken sandwich, and only returned for a quick breakfast in late January because I was suffering from low blood sugar and needed to eat something before driving an hour to Savannah for work. Not only did I have a poor experience with an unreasonably long wait for a single chicken biscuit (they had several on the line, they just weren't concerend about my need to get food quickly), I was humiliated by a condescending comment from the cashier and actually ended up reporting this, along with my previously mentioned concerns to the home office in Atlanta. The next day, the owner Jerry left a voicemail on my phone saying he wanted to speak to me about my concerns, and I just today was able to go up there to try and speak to him about it. He wasn't there, but his wife was. Her condescending attitude was worse that the initial cashier's attitude was, and even flat out called me a liar when I tried to inform her of the numerous cold food issues I have encountered here. She refused to listen, humiliated me again because I dared to politely confront her about it, and even tried to accuse me of cursing at her! I did not, but if I did it would have been warranted. I am not the only person who has reported issues about cold food and bad customer service from staff and managers alike, and the previous reviews on this site prove it. Savannah, Pooler, and Statesboro locations are awesome. Even the ones in Kennesaw, Calhoun, and Macon plus the ones in metro Atlanta are prime examples of how Chuck fil A brings comfort to those who wish to enjoy friendly service and a fresh, hot meal. Brunswick Ga location is terrible, and sadly management refuses to acknowledge there is an issue. I hate to complain, but this is ridiculous- it is not just an isolated or occasional problem here. I will not be retuning to this location unless the management and/or ownership changes. This location is the only location for quite some distance of any chain that has a play area. That alone is why so many locals put up with the occasional bad experience. But when nearly every meal I get there is cold (I have even been sick), and management does nothing to correct the problems, I've had enough. Never had a bad experience at a chick fil a before but I have been to this location twice. Each time not very clean, bad service, incorrect order, food cold, nothing but crumbs of half filled fries. I have given this chick fil a 2 years. As time has came and gone this chick fil a can not keep a steady staff. I love chick fil a and I have been to a ton of them while traveling up and down the coast. They all have a strict standard of operation and quality across the board. This store seems to be the rebel. It has not been 1, 2, 3, 10, 20, or 50 visits latter that I gave this store a chance, but over 200 visits over the past 2 years. I have come here plenty to know how there service is not upholding to the standards that chick fil a sets for there chains. The customer service is more than less sub par, but the the quality of the food is terrible. Most of the time my food is cold and tastes like it was made over an hour ago. I know this because I have had 1 hour old chick fil a. They are an older style building with a standard drive through with two lanes, but the line literally takes 45 minutes many times I go there. Whether it's 8am, lunch, or dinner it is crazy long for the small amount they have going through the drive through (relatively speaking). Other chick fil a's have over 40 cars stacked up and can push them through in less than 10 min. This one gets 15 -30 cars in line and they take 20-45 at worse (30-45 min is many times a week). It's not even stretching out of the parking lot. I did let management know many times to aid in the process of correction. Things take time, but it's been 2 years and I have honestly seen no noticeable change in management and quality of food. They seem to have new employees every week (that is not a bad thing or wrong. It is the fast food industry). But the employees do not even say "my pleasure" or any chick fil a etiquette. I am not here to bash them. I want to like the store, but I'm disappointed 4/5 times. This isn't to slam them, but to be an honest review of my experience over the past 2 years. I hope they get better and maybe see this review (doubtful). I hope your experiences are way better. There review score online is 2.5. I agree with this at best. Thank you to all that work hard there to provide the convenience that we desire. A little ways from the highway roughly 3 miles but a well deserved break from burgers which are abundant on the highway. Service is excellent as always. The driveway was rather quick even though cars were wrapped around the building likely due to bad weather on this trip. This franchise never lets me down regardless to its location. Don't go here if it's lemonade you want. Despite promoting their iced lemonades, this restaurant never has any lemonade, and the manager is completely unapologetic about it. I don't know if it's a high cost item or what, but for the last two years during the warmer months--when you'd want lemonade--it hasn't been there. I'm notifying corporate about it. I like the food here, but I don't go anymore. Don't get me excited about lemonade that you refuse to make. If I could give a negative star I would. This is coming from an older couple who has spent many visits to this Chick-fil-A with today's visit being our last 3/10/20 Bwk. Ga. location. Ordered 2 large meal combos with diet lemonades around 9:30 Monday night 3/9/20, Bwk. Ga., left and returned back to the Chick -fil-A due to our diet lemonades being spoiled and soured. We loved Chick-fil-A's diet lemonade throughout the years because it was made with real lemons and wasn't weak and watered down like most others are. The young lady at their window apologized when we returned for them to fix the issue but stated they were completely out of diet lemonade. She asked if we wanted something else and told us our options which were unhealthy options due to them having caffeine in them. We eventually chose diet coke zeros for the sake of having something to wash our food down with. Before leaving the same nice young lady told us to hold on to our receipt and come back another day to get those diet lemonades since it was their mistake in giving us bad diet lemonades and running out, just show our receipt to the cashier and explain what happened she said. We thanked her and went on our way. We stopped back by today around 4:30 with our receipt as instructed the night before and explained everything to the cashier at the window. She accepted our receipt, asked our name and wrote it down, returned to the window with our drinks. We said thank you and went on our way. Didn't even make it out of their parking lot before my husband tasted his and said it was awful, not having the taste of rotten, spoiled lemons this time but tasted very watered down and diluted with a minute amount of lemon flavor!!! Tasted awful! Now anyone who has ever had a Chick -fil-A lemonade, diet or regular, can tell you they have never skimped on there lemons when making their lemonade, always very strong and lemon flavored. So this is how Chick-fil-A treats their customers? So disappointing and surprised at such poor, unacceptable customer service and all this for just 2 diet lemonades???
