The food was normal CFA food, no issues there. The staff wasn't the normal peppy CFA excited to help you staff. The restaurant was a bit dirty and they weren't busy since it was the lull between breakfast and lunch. The kids area was small, but clean and had good AC to beat the heat outside. The bathroom was an issue. The changing station is right outside the stalls (one handicap and one normal) and if it is down, you can't use the bathroom as it's hard to get in/out of the stalls. The bathroom was also really dirty. Overall- disappointed in this location. Probably will avoid it in the future. read more

First, the order was wrong. We originally ordered a spicy chicken deluxe no tomate. But instead we got chicken deluxe with no pickles which was never mentioned. Also, This is how the bun came after taking it out of the box. (No this bun did not stick to the box) poor presentation by CFA. We were charged large fries but the fries were not filled up all the way. The person who took our order never read the order back so this could have been prevented but still. Overall, not the best service or presentation of the meal here at CFA in Camden, DE. We had better; I wouldn't say it was the worst service but definitely need to make sure that the customers order is not only prepped and presented correctly but completed. I still contend that the Chick-fil-A sandwich is the greatest fast food sandwich in the country. I've never had a bad visit to a Chick-fil-A and this location was as good as anywhere. When the sandwiches are this consistent it's a home run for me and I'm at the point where this is the only fast food place I still visit kind of regularly (when I can find one). I ordered via the mobile app. When I arrived they knew my order details. The process went smoothly and I was through the line with my food in about 10 minutes. Yep it is true. I never ate at Chick-fil-A. Until today. Way. LOL. I loved it. I heard so much about the service, not open on Sundays, tonnage, and never ate the chicken (in place of saying drank the Kool-Aid). There was a clerk outside taking orders in the drive through lane to cut down the wait (that was cool) - I was able to pull up to the drive thru menu and order and it was crystal clear (amazing), had maybe a 2 minute wait from order to receiving my order (awesome). Chick-fil-A Dover, De staff taking orders are nice and helpful but it's becoming obvious that Chick-fil-A really only cares when it's convenient. Very frustrated with the company overall. Tonight I tried to order food for me and my wife off the app. I was a dollar short on my gift card and didn't have my credit card with me. I wanted to use the gift card and my credit card on file in the app. I couldn't figure out how to do it and the staff tried could couldn't figure it out either. I explained it to the shift leader she apologized and walked away. Since COVID I've had nothing but problems with Chick-fil-A in general. Typically the Dover, De location has been the only one to seem to take time to try to make sure the customers orders are correct and seem to care. That is till tonight. I refuse to give business to Camden Delaware Chick-fil-A because last summer, they left me waiting for 20 minutes, telling me drive through customs and door dash get priority over curbside pickup. When I got my order it was smashed all of my food, buns were smashed because they smashed the bag before giving it to me. 4 sauces were smashed into the container of fries. I called to complain because I didn't notice till I got home (the smashed bag was inside a good bag) and the asst manager was rude and hung up on me. Rehoboth Beach Delaware Chick-fil-A, I accidentally ordered the regular spicy chicken and not grilled. I noted that I have a sever Gluten Allergy and they placed a note on top of the sandwich- HaHa this isn't Gluten-free. I should of taken a picture of it but at that point was way to angry to think and had to drive away. I understand they are not part of your franchise but there seems to be a trend. I eat here all the time. The staff is friendly. Order is always correct. Food is always hot. Efficient way to handle the drive through but be aware: if traffic is backed up into the parking lot, drive AROUND the building to get in line. If you park yourself in the entrance, no one can get in line because you are blocking it. If the line is all the way up to that entrance, drive around. read more

The Dover location does not disappoint. It will be busy, they have a large restaurant facility , and the double drive thru. Always nice workers, they are so helpful if you eat in and have kids. They will take the yay too your table and refill your drinks. The kids love the play land. I've gone to several of their community events which are wonderful. But.... there is really no point of registering for them since anyone can go in without registering which causes severe over crowding. I wish they could enforce the reservations and times then this would be a five star review. Food is always hot and fresh and of course delicious. I do have to give them props on their drive thru. There were tons of cars, but they had their act together and I was in and out in a small amount of time. The past two times I visited have been during lunch time when they were very very busy. The food quality was not so great. Both times my chicken sandwich patties were on the smaller size compared to past experiences and this past time there was hardly any breading which makes the sandwich in my opinion and very thin like they were rushing the sandwiches because of the heavy crowds. And it was I'll continue to go to this location because it's close to home but only in the off hours. read more

I ordered 2 number ones with extra pickles, there wasn't extra at all. One Med and one large with unsweet tea with extra ice and lemon. They put lemonade in my unsweet tea with no extra ice. With our family having gluten & dairy allergies this is one of the only fast food places we can eat. My boys beg to go here all the time. We love their grilled chicken nuggets, waffle fries, fruit cups, and I love their chocolate shake. My husband loves their frozen lemonade. Everyone is so friendly here. The service for me was not quick and very unprofessional. So something was happening outside so, everybody that worked at Chickfala decided to go outside and check it out. I was waiting like hold up only the manager needs to check what's going on. Cars behind me was pulling off because they were taking too long. Finally, the girl serving came back and gave me the wrong drink I asked for a strawberry milkshake and she gave me a water. So, I had to pull around and wait for my milkshake. I waited for it and then I asked for sauce because they didn't give me any (even though I asked for it). I was very patient,but I had to go in to complain because the girl did not come back outside to give me sauce people. Like come on . . .really! All I got was a simple "sorry" from the manager. I will never go their again. Service matters to me and that was terrible. I gave two stars because I'm being nice, but they deserve one star. read more
