I LOVE Chick-fil-A but this specific location (on old denton rd) has let me down multiple times. Employees are always rushed and not smiley at all. I order the same thing every time and I always get a different variation of problems. I always ask for extra pickles on the side and make sure to clarify and I either end up getting NO pickles or I get the normal amount of 3 pickles that are already on the sandwich. I always ask for 4 ranches and this specific time I only got ONE. CFA is usually very good about making it up to you but after so many mistakes I will be driving the extra few minutes to visit a different location. :( read more

Chick-fil-A is one of my favorite fast food businesses to go to! You don't have to go into the establishment to order your food, unless you chose to, because there are servers outside ready to take your order the minute you pull into the outside line! Normally Chick-fil-A is an easy go to decision. Service is usually spot on, food is consistent.- you know what you're going to get. Pulled into the drive thru this morning intending to get breakfast. Two cars in line but otherwise free and clear. Waited for the two cars in front of me to order then watched as they took more cars in the other lane that pulled up after I did. Last night for Polk Spirit Night we attended. We were treated rudely and did not get our drinks until I had asked twice and asked for help from a manager. We had finished our meals for at least 10 minutes before I finally had to get ugly to receive them! The girl who waited on us actually argued with me about purchasing a milkshake and a drink for my grandson! Service in the drive thru is always stellar, but don't go inside. But as I made to Diana taking my order in the drive thru she had a smile and greets me like I'm the only one in line, take her time and gets my order ask if I need any condiments and thanks me for coming to Chikfila today. As I get to the window it was all hands on deck with Ismarie , and all the managers working to help get the orders out. Macy the manager was right in the middle of it making a iced coffee. They herd you through 2 lines at least 1/4 mile long and you wait, and sit and wait and sit and when they finally bring you 2 of their number 1's with 2 drinks in a drink carrier, do not put it in the floorboard of your car unless you want the cheap ass styrofoam not very climate friendly crap cups to break and spill in your car. The forty minute takeout fail. The drive thru is all confusing so I went in to order takeout. Somehow paid for cheese twice, only wanted & received one slice. Order was wrong twice in a row. Technically 3 times but I didn't want to send it back again for no pickles. Took them off but the whole sandwich still tastes like pickles. Had it with this one. Chic-Fil-A rocks, but this one socks worse than this pun. They ALWAYS ask me to "please pull forward, and we will bring it out to you..." Well; they always bring you your food and then scamper off. The order is ALWAYS incomplete. And no; you can't really check it while you're there; the parking lot is odd-shaped and the wrap-around drive thru customers trap you in there if you don't take your shot and leave during an opening. This place can't seem to get an order correct when ordering delivery. Yet again, today's small and very simple order arrived without an item. 7 out of my last 10 orders have arrived without an item or incorrectly (no cheese, bacon instead of chicken, etc.). Chik Fil A tastes amazing and I love the service but today I ordered 2 spicy deluxe burgers and both had no buns on top. Only the bottom. Therefore they get 4 stars cause mistakes can happen, but how do you forget the top bun of a burger. I am baffled at this fact and forever depressed. read more

This used to be my favorite CFA but Im very disappointed that they would not break my $20 bill. I payed with a card for my order (to help out the girls in the parking lot taking orders) but I needed some change and the lady would not help me, I should have paid cash for the order to get change. Be careful y'all this place has bugs..I got a sweet tea tonight and saw a fly in my drink. I asked for another drink and this dude dumps out the drink and uses the same cup and lid. I said no I'd like a new cup and new lid please...then this guy dumps the drink in a new cup instead getting a new cup and filling it up with new ice and tea. I didn't think I had to explain that to someone who works with food..but I didn't even get like a oh I'm sorry...they made it seem like it was my fault they let a fly in my drink. I love CFA. Let's be honest. No, the food isn't all that good for us, but it is so good. My favorite is the smiling, friendly service we always receive. No matter what you choose, you will be pleased. My normal go to breakfast item is the biscuit sandwiches. Choose either sausage, bacon, or chicken; they are all tasty. My wife goes in there so often, when they see her car, they get her sweet tea ready for her! My one knock on the place is that they took my favorite side items off the menu. I downloaded their ONE APP. It gives you an option of a FREE Sandwich between Regular, Spicy or Deluxe (cheese is extra). I got the deluxe. I did my ordering on my app, it was very well organized, easy and pretty cool. It was a bit fancy for an app actually. They've put a lot of work and thought into the design. Kudos. The app, I admit was dangerous. Ordering was so easy that I wanted to get food just to play around with it. But I stopped myself. I got the FREE Sandwich, Large Fries, and 4 strips (to take to work). I also indicated I wanted, salt and pepper, Polynesian sauce, ranch sauce and chick fil a sauce. Entered my credit card information and boom my order was complete. It tells you to notify them when you're at the location, and to go inside to the designated "Pick Up Here" area. (That was easy to find.) The cashier just calls your name like normal and you get it. Easy breezy. I got in the car, looked in my bag. My food was fulfilled to my order, but there were no condiments or napkins. I had to walk my pretty self back in and ask for condiments. What's the point of indicating the items I need when they can't be met? Now you're saying "Well dang, you're too lazy to even check your food before walking out?" Yes. Why yes I am. Isn't this the reason for this APP? Convenience? I want to place my order, have all the necessitates in the bag, and leave. It'd be better if we're able to just drive thru to pick up order since it's paid in advance. We just go to the drive-thru window, tell them our Order Confirmation # along with name, get the food and drive off. Hope you guys take my thoughts into consideration! OK, we've been going to this location since they opened; our daughter worked there 10 years ago and we never had a bad experience. We go there every Wednesday after choir rehearsal, and sometimes other days as well. It's always been a great experience, with a friendly attentive staff, clean tables, floors and restrooms, and of course, the food!!! The employees knew us by name, knew our orders, and inquired about our day and had time for a quick joke. HOWEVER, lately all that has changed. Apparently there's a new owner, and things have taken a turn in the wrong direction. Our most recent visit, I noticed that over half of the tables were dirty, crumbs, smudges, food containers left on the tables... We located a clean table far in the back, and quickly ate our food. The strange thing was, there were 4 employees at the counter, plus the manager, (and I don't know how many in back) and the tables were messy and dirty. Only one other couple besides us were in there at the time, so it's not like they had anything else to do. The restroom also needed attention. I don't know. It's weird. Used to be, the staff was out in the dining room refilling drinks, clearing and cleaning, and checking on customers. Now they just stand behind the counter, waiting for... I don't know what. Good things: Great food, the new char-grilly chicken, new salads. Prompt ordering, and they don't mess up your order. Meh things: Unclean tables, floors, restrooms. They took away the brownies and cheesecake last year - makes me sad. Employees that don't leave the front counter, and one particular manager that can't make change of a $20 bill without consulting a calculator. Deal breakers: So far, none. I don't like the direction this location is taking, but it's still good food dammit. However if things don't pick up soon, I may just go to another location (even though it's in Addison or Lewisville.) To sum, Attention to customers seems to stop at the counter these days. There's more than making the sale, folks. Please return this CFA to its former level of cleanliness and attentiveness. read more
