Burger was so so, a little overcooked, especially for $8 a piece. I ordered a "medium" chocolate shake. The shake I got looked like it had a quart of ice cream in it and it cost $5. My wife and I had a couple of burgers and one shake. $24. The worst part is the chocolate shake couldn't be pulled up through their cheap straw. Ordered a few times now. This place used to get it right all the time but the last few times it's been missing. The burger tastes okay. I think the food needs more love. Oh my gosh y'all. Above and beyond customer service!! I am in town with my hubby and kids and everyone was getting something different. We had just talked about burgers and I said we had to go to Burger Street since there weren't any back home. No one else wanted burgers so I was gonna settle for something else when lo and behold there it was on the right. Went to first spot then my turn. Olive burger was always my go to so I went in all excited and ordered with extra olives, paid, and was happy. Until I looked at menu and realized I didn't order with bacon and cheese. I figured I was ok, went to another stop next door, and then knew it just wouldn't be the same. Went back and told them about my mistake and offered to pay for the bacon and cheese difference. Michael was so amazing and saw how sad and pathetic I looked and said I could get it added no charge. When they came to bring me the box I brought my other burger so I could add the bacon and cheese to the one it ordered and was told they made me what I intended to buy no charge and to just keep the other one. Y'all when I say I started crying it was almost ugly crying. I asked if I could give them both a hug and told them they made my day. Yes food is my love language. Especially really good food. I gave them a tip I had intended to cover the added ingredients and then a bit more. The burger and fries were beyond delish just as I had always ordered and remembered. The kindness was just an extra added bonus with a side of restoring my faith in people being kind and just doing nice things for others. Thank you both. I went to the burger street in Carrollton on Midway road, I ordered a BLT no mayo and add cheese. Very disappointed when I got home. There was mayo on my sandwich and there was no cheese that I asked them to add. I am allergic to mayo, I looked at the receipt and yes they charged me for the cheese and it said no mayo. The girl at the window well didn't know if she had eyes or not, her fake eyelashes were so thick she could barely open her eyes, very unprofessional glad they don't fall off. I could not eat my sandwich because of the mayo to say the least I was very disappointed. I was going to take it back but did not want anyone to spit in my food I heard that can happen. So I called the location at the number that was listed on the website, called about five times and finally someone answered they said hello and when I asked if this was burger street on Midway in Carrollton they hung up on me. So if you want your food done correctly I would advise not to go to this location, this is not the first time it has happened before but this time I had to put a bad review, I will not go back to this location. Nice break from average quality fast food as this places serves high quality fast food! We were initially going to pick up A&W burger next door until this place caught our eyes. Thinking it's a family owned business (checked their website and it seems like a Texas chain), we opted to try this place instead. I ordered the Olive Burger and added jalapeños and Swiss cheese with a side of onion rings while my bf ordered double meat double cheese burger with curly fries. We were both craving burgers, and this place satisfied our cravings excellently. The patties are much thicker than an average fast food joint and the lettuce, tomatoes and red onions are fresh and crisp. They don't skimp on their toppings either. There were PLENTY of jalapeños and olives in my burger that it was overflowing! Very delicious and good quality food. The curly fries were seasoned nicely and the onion rings were crispy. I ordered cheese fries and the cheese was old and gross. I also decided to get the curly fry option which honestly who wouldn't take the chance if its being offered. BOY OH BOY was it alllll so good! I was expecting my burger to be a greasy hot mess but it wasnt at all! Also, I thoroughly enjoyed the curly fries which reminded me of the good 'ol times of when Hardy's was still in business.
