Service is extremely poor here now. All new staff. Drive thru wait time is ridiculous. If you are not doing a mobile pickup order do NOT go thru drive thru. I ordered a small Mac and cheese. Yall lied. This stuff was nasty. It has a hardboard after taste. Cheese taste nothing like cheese. So disappointed. The lady in front of me held up the line for 8 minutes for an ice cream cone!!!!! Really an ice cream. They need to figure out how to let cars pass by and not be stuck in line. What's the use of taking multiple orders if I'm not gonna get the line any faster. I'm so irritated.

Ordered on the mobile app today and when i got there and scanned the code for my table. The capped messed up and told me to talk to a team member. i was charged and had a receipt. A manager came and tried to find my order. After a bit she was able to find it and proceed to make the order. After we started eating they were calling out my name and i told the gentlemen that we got our food. He stated that we should go ahead and take it because if we didn't take it they would throw it away anyways. He was an elderly man and was so sweet and friendly. We always order food from here and always get great service!

Food is always good. But service at the drive-through lately, while I understand, they are busy, is very frustrating. They always forget something. You have to check your bag before you drive away tonight I didn't do so I got $19 worth of food to eat while I'm on the road tonight no straw, and no dip for my chicken strips. They have a big trouble with that dip, I guess because the last three times I've gone there it's not been in the bag. I was amazed because it's such a simple thing to remember to do. Needless to say I was very upset. Try driving at night in a car lots of traffic no straw and now when I pull over, I'll eat my dried chicken strips. It's not the end of the world. It was only $20. Thank God they are not flying airplanes.

I mean it's Chick-fil-A so the food is fine but the serving sizes for the price are insane? Like I ordered a medium fry and I barely got any. That was the only thing I got too so it was pretty disappointing.

Visited the Mountain Island CFA last Saturday after work. First, the girl working the drive through sounded like she just woke up, there was no greeting, no enthusiasm just a flat voice on a speaker. I had just got off a 12hour shift, so I chose to ignore that and go ahead and order. I ordered a sausage muffin with egg white and I received a muffin with sausage AND grilled chicken and no egg white and soggy tots to go with it. As you can imagine I was extremely disappointed when I opened the bag at home and had no desire to drive back so I ate cereal. I completed the survey that same day and I have yet to response. I live about 10 minutes away from both the Mountain Island and Northlake location. Since having to go to the MI location due to the Northlake one being shut down, in the beginning I thought this was the better location. However more recently when I've visited, my meal has been disappointing or missing something. One time my nuggets were missing, I had to go back in the drive thru which took about 10 mins and when I got to the window there was no apology no consideration for the mistake. CFA is known for their consistency and good service and I received neither of those things on this visit. This location is becoming careless and sloppy.

Came in to redeem my free peach milkshake. First time at this location now that they've moved. Used to be directly in front of Walmart, sharing a parking lot, but now across the street in Riverbend Village. They have a good drive thru flow and of course dining rooms are still closed due to COVID. The drive thru workers aren't wearing masks anymore. They have drive thru overflow parking on the opposite side of the building. Genius. So if someone at the window is waiting on items from their order, they can pull to the other side and park near the dining room door to wait for them to be brought out. Brand spankin new location and friendly staff. I'd return.

Came here as a treat for myself af I rarely eat out for breakfast during the week. It was a Friday so why not? I realized that I should have ordered through the app by the look if the liner wrapped around the restaurant and the time. It was roughly 10:30 am. Ordering through the app is easy, simple and so convenient. But I neglected to think about that so here I was. I decided to walk in and not wait in the long line. It was empty inside except for two other ladies. I walked right up and Dre took my order. He was pleasant and greeted me with a smile. He continued to say "my pleasure"and we joked about that. I waited a few minutes for my order and was out the door. Before I left, I asked for a water. One employee behind the counter didn't look too happy. Im not totally sure why but I felt like it was directed at me but I could be wrong. She may have felt some way about me taking pictures of the restaurant but I could be looking too fat into it. Lastly, my chicken egg and cheese bagel was great. I just wish they wouldn't burn the bagel when they toast it. I will come back again.

This Chick-fil-A is known as the Mountain Island Chick-fil-A, named after the lake/suburb/neighborhood northwest of Charlotte. On the way back to Atlanta on I-485, I saw a sign for restaurants at exit 16 (NC 16 (Brookshire Boulevard) - Newton), so we stopped at this Chick-fil-A for lunch. It's located near a big/busy intersection with several shopping centers and fast food chain restaurants, in front of a Walmart Supercenter. In terms of building and layout, this Chick-fil-A is almost an exact carbon copy of one of the Chick-fil-A stores I frequent in Marietta, Georgia: the East Lake Chick-fil-A (https://www.yelp.com/biz/chick-fil-a-marietta-9). It's got an indoor playground for kids and a sizable dining room. I ordered what I usually get from the Chick-fil-A near my office: a spicy chicken sandwich meal. Here, it cost $6.49 plus tax and included the sandwich, waffle fries, and a drink (I got half sweet/half unsweet tea). As usual, this meal hit the spot for me. Everything was consistent with other Chick-fil-A locations I've had this meal at with the exception of the bun. The bun here was harder, dryer, and held its shape better than perhaps any Chick-fil-A sandwich bun I've had before. You can kind of tell if you look at my pictures. The bun isn't as squished as it normally is. My fiancee got the Cobb salad with chicken nuggets and apple cider vinaigrette for $7.39 plus tax (no side or drink included). It was delicious. The salad came with Romaine lettuce and baby greens, corn, shredded jack and cheddar cheeses, bits of bacon and egg, and grape tomatoes. It also came with a pack of charred tomato crispy red bell peppers. The veggies were fresh and crisp. My fiancee mixed the salad well and everything was flavorful (with the dressing and nuggets, how could it not be?). Service was good. We visited on a Wednesday around 1:30pm and the restaurant was busy, inside and out (drive-thru). Most of the parking spots were taken. I'd come back.

I seriously hate they haven't turned the mobile ordering back on. I was told one day it rained and was turned off and no one bothered to ever turn it back on. What's the point of an app where you still have to wait through the flipping drive thru? Meanwhile the drive thru traffic at this particular location is a nightmare. This new location is fast (i will even go out of my way to stop by there) and their customer service is exceptional. Super friendly employees and managers and place has been clean. My favorite cfa and i hope they keep it up. (I never went to the old location due to long wait and it was dirty inside) read more

I have been coming to this Chick-fil-A for a long time. I have experienced minor issues. Today, I ordered the chicken burrito. It was to go and you know a drive a d eat situation. When i began to eat my burrito something was off. I noticed that the top portion only had egg. I thought they had given me a egg burrito only. But when I finished I noticed all the chicken was crammed at the bottom. I called the restaurant back and the manager stated someone was new in the kitchen. He asked me if it affected the taste which it did and instead of fixing the problem he paused like it was not a big deal and the cook just did something different. I have never had a manager not correct or take care of an error on their part. read more

Just to inform all who might have thought as I did this morning when I ordered ahead of time on the chick-fil-a app for breakfast. They DO NOT PRE MAKE YOUR MEAL WHEN YOU PAY ONLINE. You will get to the restraunt, wait in the line like everyone else, then be asked if you want to change anything and you say no. Then be told because it is no 10:40 your order for breakfast can't happen. That sounds like a terrible system why did I prepay if I basically have to do the same thing I would have to do if I just came and waited in line like everyone else that was waiting to order. On top of that the service from the server in the drive thru was not helpful at all in resolving the issue so I decide to no long go to this chick-fil-a anymore. I encourage others to just not make the same mistake and ruin a great Saturday breakfast read more

This is tough, because food has always been good, service great, but we haven't been back specifically because they never seemed to clean their indoor play structure (greasy film & smelled like urine in some spots), nor did they put bolts back into some parts of the structure that we're missing, including a plastic window- We went a few times last Spring, every time it was gross & missing bolts (I notified employees) -surely they've cleaned it and fixed the play structure since then, and if so I'll be happy to update- but everywhere else seemed reasonably clean. Food is good, just stick to the drive thru if you have kids. Maybe we'll stop in again soon so I can update. read more

I would give it a 5 but there was one MAJOR thing that happened. My son has milk allergies and I asked if they had milk in their fried nuggets and they said no. And he ate them and ended up with a terrible allergic reaction. This happened a year or two ago but it still happened. Other than that the people are friendly, facility is clean! Love the play area and the community involvement. read more

I always love Chick-fil-A but the entrance at this location is absolutely terrible. It is very difficult to figure out where to enter from the highway and once you find that there are very odd speed bumps that almost look like the speed bumps that would pop your tires to keep you from entering somewhere. The food was good per usual but getting to this location was annoying. But, apparently we will all do anything for Chick-fil-A! read more

Sometimes it's meh but most of the time it's amazing!!!! We love the girl, Amber. She is always nice and always offering to take out tray! The play area is really cool but they need to make the glass soundproof because when we sit beside it, it gets really loud and annoying but overall they are the best fast food place ever!!!! read more

The best Chick-fil-A in Charlotte!!! Such an awesome owner and staff! They do such an amazing job at this place! The staff is so friendly and courteous. They all make you feel right at home which is a testament to the awesome management staff. They also do an amazing job for the community and it's customers with their " Free Breakfast Wednesdays" that they sponsor. They are also always hosting events for the community! I love this place. There has been only a couple times that I have had GREAT service at a fast food restraint. This is the best service (in my opinion) of any fast food restraint in the U.S. They are forced to say my pleasure (always in a pleasurably way). On to the food, it is great and healthy (as much as a fast food restaurant can be). They have grilled and fried chicken sandwiches ,with or without pickles, witch I recommend. As much as pricing it is a little pricey, but trust me you get your bang for your buck and that is all I have to say about chick-filet. read more

On Saturday mornings, the place is packed and rockin', so be prepared to have some sort of wait. On every other weekday, this place is pretty speedy to get through during the breakfast hours. Lunch is easy going also. This is one of my go to chick fil as. If I come a few times a week, some people that work there will recognize me and ask me if I want additional ketchup. read more

I loveeee this location not just because it's close to home lol. The service is always on point even when the lines are seriously long. They have free WiFi so you can just pull out your phone and browse if your like me and want to save your data. Today the drive thru was actually not packed, they had the workers outside taking orders not sure why maybe the had a rush before I came but anywho the line moved quickly. I ordered the chicken sandwich combo and everything was fresh and hot as always. read more

I LOVE Chick-fil-A, but this Chick-fil-A gets a negative star from me lol. Drive-thru was S L O W and took about 15 minutes to get through. Got up to the window and realized the reason it was slow was because the workers were all having their own personal conversations LOL!!! I'm all about having fun on the job or whatever...but yikes. Also they forgot to give me my chicken biscuit... but my husband did go back in there to get it and the lady who helped him was super nice!! Good food tho read more

I love this place. I come at least once a week. Everyone there is so nice... Almost too nice. I have chuckled at the overly excited employees. Look...I know I'm amazing & it's a pleasure to serve me but tone it down a notch. Just kidding...I love friendly people & delicious Jesus chicken. What a crappy Chick-fil-A. It used to be one of the better ones to go to around Charlotte, but now.....nope! The floor and tables stay dirty, even when they're slow. Management needs to re-evaluate what keeps his doors open, and being a jerk about Whipped Cream on kids' ice dream cones is ridiculous! Yeah, that's right, you're seriously the only Chick-fil-A that is trying to charge for whipped cream. Customers vote with their feet, and you just lost me as a customer! read more

This is the best fast food restaurant in Charlotte. They have the most courteous personnel of any restaurant of any type or style in Charlotte. If you like Chick Filet then you will love this restaurant. It's also very family friendly. read more

She made eye contact with me several times but never acknowledged me or asked if I needed anything. Being completely overlooked while everyone around me received attentive service was frustrating and made me feel unwelcome. I brought my concerns to the manager, hoping the issue would be taken seriously. Instead, I felt that excuses were made for the staff member's behavior rather than acknowledging my experience. That response left me with the impression that this type of service is acceptable and that the issue is unlikely to be addressed. That's disappointing because the food and atmosphere are genuinely enjoyable, but good service should be part of the overall experience as well.

It was not a good experience being our first time there. It was other parties there that were experiencing similar issues with drinks, quality of food and excessive wait times. Maybe it was an off night and originally I thought they were short staffed but that was not the case. This was a one and done for a lot of us that night (people in my party and other visitors).

She just plainly said would you like to have three scallops added to your meal or a lobster tail now I understand that there are many people that would go in and not have a problem with the price however, it should be stated how much the up charge is going to be and it should be in writing on the menu because we looked back on the menu and there was not a price for up charge on the scallops . My friend was not happy with the service nor the cost of the scallops . The manager did not really know how to handle the situation but because I invited everyone I wanted to make it right and I asked to pay part of her bill and of course my friend denied and said it'd be best. If we just not come back she said the food wasn't bad the food was actually good however, the waitress was definitely not as friendly focused as she should have been and not willing to help make our experience the best I will say the manager should have been able to accommodate her request and move forward and be kind and understand her point. I will be back and I would love for my friends to come back. The ambiance was very nice and the drinks and food were good as well. Please note the manager at the end gave us a $10 coupon for next visit but our friends were not happy with the outcome. Given the price and reputation from my past experiences, I was expecting top tier service, food, and ambience with a quality of fish second to none in the area. Let's break it down: We had a table of 3 and each ordered the signature tasting ($60 pp, a drink, and 2 extra items (one tuna roll and the Australian wagyu hot rock, ~$20 each) 1. Service Our waitress was kind and professional, but the overall cohesion of the staff seemed off and the wait times between courses was sporadic and often too long. It took about 30 minutes from ordering to get our first course which was... a salad wrap. Not only did this seem way too long, but it was extremely underwhelming for a top tier tasting menu experience (will come back to this in the food section). After that, some courses came out overlapping each other, and some were 10-15 min apart. This made it feel less like a fine dining tasting experience and more disorganized. On top of that, the server bringing the food to the table would explain each course in a rush and we could not hear them, meaning we did not know much about each dish. Lastly, our water was consistently empty and previous corse dishes were left on the table when new ones were served, which is a minor thing but should be standard at a fine dining restaurant. Knowing how blown away I was in Austin by the original restaurant, the overall service left me feeling disappointed in bringing my friends and hyping up the place for such an expensive meal. 2. Food Our tasting menu consisted of 7 courses including a salad wrap, tuna hamachi (cold), a sea bream role, ponzu glazed salmon (hot), 2 pieces of nigiri per person, brussel sprouts, and a dessert. Having 2 of 6 core dishes be a salad and veggie at a renowned seafood restaurant was disappointing, and these did not blow me a way at all and were average at best (salad was uninteresting, brussels were cold and too saucy). The sea bream role was also just average, but the tuna hamachi, salmon, and nigiri were excellent. I felt that the portion size was small for 3 people, it was marginally bigger than a 2 person tasting and that was also slightly disappointing. We each got to choose our own dessert which was nice and included a guava and banana cake which were excellent but much too big compared to the portions of the core dishes. We also ordered the additional tuna crunchy roll and hot rock wagyu which were excellent, and a much better value than the tasting portions. Overall, the food was still good, but I distinctly remember the few times I went to the Austin restaurant being absolutely blown away by the food quality, uniqueness, and menu selection, which was not the case here. I hope this improves in the future. 3. Ambience The adaptive reuse space was awesome and the look of the place is stellar. I loved how much seating and bar space there was and the overall lighting and mood was great. The only complaint I have here is that it was very loud making it hard to hear servers and each other over conversation. No one wants to be shouting over the ambient noise when paying $100+ for a meal. For context, we are late 20s, we are not shy to louder bars and restaurants, this was especially noisy. In general, I believe this place has a ton of potential and I really hope it improves in quality and value before I come back again. At present, I would not recommend the tasting menu and instead opt for individual dishes.

Order their homemade pasta and be prepared to share. Portions were above average. For dessert you must try the cheesecake. Smooth and well balanced. One improvement could be the chocolate cake. This was dry and kacked the chocolate flavor the menu teased. The service was great. Ill be back in September.
