He was quiet, mumbling his words, and didn't know what he was talking about. We all ordered our food and found a place to sit. The drinks (of that which were available) were very syrupy and didn't taste right at all. This brings me to the first picture of the soda machines. Much like a "Where's Waldo" portrait, the longer you look, the more you see. Except instead of a dopamine hit, it's a slight feeling of dread that compounds with every find. First, we have two drinks out of order. That happens, no big deal. As we continue to look at the machine we notice its base is propped up by two styrofoam cups. Still weird, but not too nasty. To the right there are also no napkins. I find this is more than a minor inconvenience when eating finger food. Lastly, but certainly most unsettling, is the bug trap set up just to the left of the machine. I appreciate you using a trap, but right next to drinks and where food is bound to be put down? After 10 minutes, I alone received my food. Except it wasn't what I ordered. I ordered the sandwich pictured in the restaurant which was advertised as the chicken salad sandwich and received what consisted of lettuce, tomatoes, and chicken. I clarified I had actually ordered the chicken salad sandwich (because this was obviously not that) and the singular man assured me that was correct. Another 15 minutes pass by and the rest of my family gets their food. The glorified bar food was mediocre at best and my family wasn't even interested in finishing. He also forgot an order of fries. This is impressive because of the 5 customers in the entire building, my family was 5 of them. As we were leaving, another poor man and his family walked in to order. I felt a moral obligation to turn him away. This was also right as we passed the pitiful 80 on the inspection report. I usually let this stuff go, but as someone who appreciates food, I felt it would be a disservice to society to let this place continue to have an inflated 4.4 stars. While we waited for our to go order, one of the employees went to beverage area and pulled trash from the trash can in the area. She then took the trash bag with trash behind the counter, set it on the floor and proceeded to check food containers without washing her hands. The trash should have immediately been taken to an outside dumpster, hands washed afterwards and then proceed with handling orders. I hope this was an isolated incident I just happened to witness and management will give extra attention and training especially pertaining to being sanitary.

To be fair, nobody ever claimed it would arrive. It was eventually removed from the bill after we reminded our server that we had ordered it sometime during the previous fiscal year. The food was... fine. My son's chicken tenders were crispy, although he described the flavor as "part chicken, part fish." Not a sentence you love hearing when chicken is the goal. The real star of the show was the kids' fries. They arrived cold, rubbery, and with the texture of something that had already lived a full and meaningful life. We sent them back and asked for fresh fries. The server returned with what appeared to be the exact same fries. I can't prove it was the same batch, but if those weren't the original fries, then they had an identical twin with the same hopes, dreams, and body temperature. After politely escalating the matter beyond what should ever be required for a french fry, fresh fries finally appeared. Remarkably, hot fries are better than cold rubber fries. Revolutionary stuff. Overall, the meal wasn't terrible, but it felt like every part of the experience required a follow up email. If the guacamole ever arrives, please let me know.
