I can only guess that, in an attempt to handle the drive-thru crowd, Truett's management came up with putting people outside to take orders and credit cards, dump two lanes into one, then have people outside the delivery window bring you your food. Must have sounded good in the conference room. My experience was this: I ordered chicken nuggets and a southwestern salad. When it was my turn to hit the window, the two women grabbing the bags and handing them to cars, ignored me for 10 minutes! Literally, 15 cars in back of me were handed their large bags with drink orders and whatever else, while I waited. At one point, I was told the Southwestern takes longer to prepare? WHAT? It was lettuce, under some shredded lump of chicken, (nothing like the chicken hunks in the marketing picture) with two little bags of toppings to throw over it. Love chick-fil-a!! Went through the drive thru for lunch today and received wonderful quick customer service from very friendly, polite staff. Our order for 3 people was all correct and food was delicious! I had my favorite: spicy chicken sandwich with waffle fries and lemonade. My son loved his nuggets and fruit cup. My mom much enjoyed the southwestern salad with the creamy salsa dressing but stay clear of that dressing if you're not a fan of spicy because it definitely has a delicious kick to it read more

Today is day three of their opening I need in there three days straight guy in the chicken sandwiches grilled chicken sandwiches and's club chicken sandwiches their french fries are delicious waffle cut the strawberry shakes were grateful times your Coke was great the facility was clean very up to date very nice people inside. Two times I dying inside and one time I had drive-through service the service was fast and friendly and the food was correct all three times it look like the picture I can see that Susan & Mike and the management are doing it right. Being in the bar and restaurant industry for over 20 years I can tell you fast food is the hardest business in the restaurant industry business in the world so far I have not been disappointed. The food was hot fast and filling you definitely get your moneys worth with the crinkle fries and the coleslaw's excellent . The buns are wheat concoction . They were very fresh and there's even a piece of waxed paper to hold it together so you can drive and eat at the same time. The lettuce was crisp and the marinade on the chicken breast was outstanding and tasted home cook that's why I've eaten there three evenings in a row. I can't wait to you can phone in your orders and have them delivered to local businesses. Price the prices are very reasonable for the same price of an extra value meal at Burger King which is full of grace and disgusting as you can get a chicken meal club and it would even cost you less money and that crinkle cut fries are amazingly season not too much salt and the oil was clean. I work less than two blocks away from them at Delray BuickGMC and they will see me frequently. Keep up the phenomenal work!!!! Thank You... Poor show for Chick-fil-A. We order two 12 piece nuggets, 2 original chicken sandwiches, a grilled chicken sandwich, and a large fry. We ask for BBQ, Ranch, and Honey BBQ sauce. They gave us one of each... And didn't even give us our fries. This Christian run group doesn't operate this way. Management needs to teach their employees the proper way to talk to their customers. And what is considered an appropriate # of sauses for items ordered. If someone wants more sauce, you get that to them, or you ask him to pay for it. You don't roll your eyes and grudgingly put one more sauce in the bag. Try to pretend like you don't hate your job so much. read more

Been in Delray since 2015. I used to love this location. Lately (2018) service has been pretty bad in here. I actually stopped eating chick fill a because of it. They have the highest efficiency of any drive thru (including other Chick-fil-A's) that I have been to. There are always tons of cars in line but tons of employees to serve you. They are outside with iPads all over the place - in what looks like a 25 minute line - you get your food in under 5 minutes. Amazing. The food is great too. Went Saturday for my first experience and was blown away. Busy place but was served straight away. Placed order and waited in a booth. Food was brought to our table within 3 minutes by someone in charge it seemed. Fresh and delicious. Not the best Chik-Fil-A location... parking lot is poorly designed to start with. Then you get in the doors. The ropes to start the ordering line had room just enough for one customer, everyone else? Out in the doorway.. not good. Girl that took my order had substantial issues with: "May I have a number one meal, please?". I come here like 2 times a week with my best friend and we usually go through the drive through for a large order for her family but recently we have been going in. I can't say EVERYBODY here lacks at customer service but there are a select few. BRAD being one, Brad's a shift leader or a manager and he is like miserable to be around he is so mean and just snatches stuff off of our table. Tonight, I had to bite my tongue to not call out the employee named Eboni or Eloni. One of her coworkers who was working drive through said "Do we still have icecream a lady is asking" and she said No and she said laughing and as he told the lady they didn't, " I don't care I don't come to work to make friends". Another employee was probably fed up with her and ran to the kid saying they did have icecream. This is one of the best fast-food experiences you can get. I go there every morning for my breakfast and they're are ALWAYS happy and sincere. The quality control is great, the only deviant thing I've ever had was a malformed hashbrown, which can be chalked up to packaging. the biscuits are always soft, and the chicken always cooked to perfection. Service has seriously declined the past few months. There have been multiple occasions where sauces are missing, items missing, or something completely different is given. Normally, staff would be very polite and friendly and correct the issue. However, the staff now makes it seem as if their mistake is your fault. Heaven forbid you check your bag at the drive thru or they'll rush you on and chastise you saying "everything's in there". I was in the drive thru today and checking the bag for sauce, didn't see it, and asked the girl in the drive thru for the sauce only for her to say (with attitude)"it's in the bag". I looked again only to tell her that it was not in there. I come to this location often and I remember how well-run it used to be and all the employees were friendly and personable. Now, a majority of employees greet you with attitude if you make a request or check your bag for what you ordered. Forget this location. They REFUSE to cook food to your liking. My wife likes her chicken tenders well well done and has no problem getting it that way from any other restaurant, including other chick-fil-a locations for years now. This location refuses to cook it that way. Eddie, the manager would rather take all the rest of our food we purchased, throw it away and let us leave than to cook to our preference, claiming we are putting his employees at risk of being injured for cooking the chicken tenders too long or risk of burning the place down. I called customer care and made a complaint, asking that the store owner contact me. I've had to recall customer service 2 more times because the owner apparently felt it not important to call me back. Today I received a call from the store manager whom left me a voicemail and asked me to call him back. I swear I asked for the store owner to call me, not a store manager since my problem was at a manager level. How unprofessional. I figured I would call the manager back to see what they were going to do about it or if they had a resolution. I called 15 minutes after the voicemail they left me and surprise, the manager that called me was gone already. The individual that answered the phone, Mark, said the manager had a discussion with him about our situation. He told me they would NOT cook our chicken tenders as requested because it would ALTER THEIR RECIPE!! What!! He confirmed their position that they could care less what we wanted. Again, a real joke this owner and management is with their inability to keep a customer happy with a simple request. We went to a different location, further away from home last night and got the chicken tenders cooked as requested with no argument and a smile from Hillsboro and Jog road. We told the managers there what happened and they laughed at Delray's attitude towards it. Amazing the difference from locations. Very professional and wonderful crew at the Deerfield location. Let me start out by saying I rarely give bad reviews and usually I am very happy with the service here but this time I left very unpleased. I went through the drive through and order a deluxe sandwich which is the chick-fil-a sandwich and it comes with cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes. I go to get my order and ask the girl for salt and chick-fil-a sauce she says "yeah its in there" I said salts in there because I haven't asked for any prion to this and rudely replies yes. OK, so I park and check and no, no salt or sauce. Whatever not a huge deal but the fact that she lied to my face and was not cool. So I decided to walk into the store. A very young, nice gentlemen is working the counter I tell him what happened and he apologizes and goes over to his manager I'm expecting a new sandwich (the right one, the one I ordered and paid for) he comes back after his manager hands him a box and I open it up and its a piece of lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and pickles. He says "you can put it on your sandwich its the same thing as the deluxe sandwich. Are you kidding me? If I wanted to make my own sandwich I would've went home and done that.. I told him no I want the sandwich I ordered. So he brings me back another sandwich which was the original sandwich they tried to give me with the extra stuff on it. By this time it was cold as well as well as the fries. So after this I left very unhappy. It was just unacceptable service and just rude, no apology for their mistake, no new food and the food was horrible after this whole ordeal. chick-fil-a is known for their good service and usually I leave very satisfied with my experience, but now I think I'm going to have to go to the Boynton chick-fil-a which is a shame because I wok across the street from this one.
