I did a quick stop-by here to grab something to eat as I was hungry. I ordered a 3 PCS with fries, coleslaw, rice with the red beans and a sweet tea. I had one piece of the chicken. By the time I got back home, my stomach was on fire and I felt nauseous. I was on the throne for a while. Stomach cramps out of this world. This location might need to inspected, because I have never ever had an issue with Popeyes before, and I do NOT have digestive issues like that. Fries were old, oil appears to be old. How disgusting it is so frustrating that Popeyes here on 234 don't have a problem with taking your money but they have an issue when you ask for what you are paying for! Today 20 June 2025, I went to order a meal and I literally watched the Spanish looking cook check the amount of chicken in the baskets under the heat lamps as she did so she would count the pieces with her bare hands then wipe her hands on the back of her butt do to the grease from touching the chicken just nasty , now I no it's just a fast food restaurant but my money is hard earn as well as those that work in these establishments and this type of behavior is a reflection of the owner and management just sick !!!!!! read more

Placed mobile order and was cancelled by Popeyes two hours after confirmation for delivery was sent. Food was never delivered and card was charged the full amount. I have placed at least a dozen tickets, however the company does not allow you to speak to an actual representative, instead everything is run on AI. It's one thing to cancel the order, but to take the money without any type of service/food, is straight up stealing. read more

For this to be a new location, the food was old, my order was wrong, and the service was slow! I'm giving them two stars because the customer service was good, but the supervisor on duty should know better serving food like that. I order a 12 piece sweet and spicy wings and a regular red beans and rice. I just tried the wings for the first time at the lorton location and they were LIFE! ... crispy and saucy! Went to the dumfries location because it's closer to my home and man do I regret it! The wings were old and look like they been out all day and the sauce were barely drizzled on the wings. The red beans and rice ... they gave me mashed potatoes. For the time I waited, I would've thought everything was fresh, but lesson learned. This was my first time visiting this location. It's a pretty new location to my area of town, I've been living in Montclair for about 17 years now. Anyways, I was pretty impressed with the cashiers customer service she was extremely polite & patient especially considering my 4 yr old kept asking me to add things at the window when it was time to pay. I attempted to let the manager know because I know as a customer fast food chains often get bad feedback instead of the good - so I called to tell him, but unfortunately unlike his employees he was rude. He seemed to not want to take the call and unconcerned with receiving praise for his store. Therefore I'm writing this review in hopes that maybe corporate will see it. Your cashier vanessa is great! This place hasn't been open long and never looks busy. I had my husband stop and pick up dinner. My wings were pretty good. My husband ordered the shrimp and a fish sandwich. They were out of cocktails sauce and tartar sauce. My husband asked for mayo and was told "we don't give out mayo". Come on, it was 10 years the last time I went to Popeyes. I was super excited to finally go to this location because I hate the one on Smoketown...they didn't have anymore chicken wings and were out of the strawberry biscuits (5pm on a Tuesday) so I just got a chicken sandwich and 3 peice chicken meal. I should have checked my bag before I left but they forgot my fries and my receipt was not in the bag either. The food was good and tasted fresh. I will probably give this location another chance but will be sure to check my order and request a receipt. read more

They ran out of chicken, had to wait 25 minutes for them to cook more and it's a Sunday afternoon. I don't recommend coming to this Popeyes. They were operating great when they first opened, but lately the service has been super slow. Go to the Dale Blvd location. read more

Expected this relatively new location with better food, however greatly disappointed with the food served. Chicken sandwich was with cold chicken fillet, and seemed it was cooked hours earlier. As much as I enjoy Popeyes, I would not recommend this location to anyone. Sad! read more

Prompt service and tasty fast food just as expected from Popeyes. My only concern is how difficult it is to get in or out when the adjacent church blocks off access from Van Buren rd. I can't imagine that this doesn't impact their business, particularly on weekends. read more

New Location and by far it is the top 3 worst places that I've ever ordered from. They got my order wrong the first couple of times. That was months ago. I tried it one more time today by placing an order online. I arrived 15 minutes later and was told that it would be a 30 minute wait. I will never go there again and I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I went too ordered a 2 piece regular chicken meal. I was at the restaurant around 11:55 am. The drive in service, no one was ahead of me was slow. The chicken does not taste like normal Popeye's meals. I will not return. This is a brand new restaurant. The franchise owners should hire a better staff. read more
