so I decided to stop in mainly because I needed to use the restroom. This location actually has a very nice-sized dining area, and everything was pretty clean. I did have to wait a little at the counter because they seemed to be dealing with an issue up front, but once things moved along, I just ordered a kids meal since I'm trying to eat a little better. I decided to try the grilled nuggets for the first time. Honestly they were just OK to me. They had the grilled flavor, but visually they didn't look very appetizing and some of them were kind of breaking apart. I guess I expected more visible grill marks and a better texture. I tried them because I'm avoiding fried foods right now, but I don't think I would order them again. Next time I'd probably just skip it altogether instead of forcing myself to like the healthier option.as if anything fast is really healthy. One thing I did think was really cool was whatever drive-thru/night event that they were promoting. I've never seen any of the Philadelphia Chick-fil-A locations doing anything like that, so it definitely stood out to me. They even had an EV charging station! I live in the area and I am not really fond of the long lines in their take out, I decided to go in and eat inside. The food is decent, but the service stinks, at least they haven't ironed it out since its opening this summer past. Napkin availability is a must when dining. There were no napkin dispensers to be seen. I asked two employees before I got one napkin. CYI? I am told they are closed on Sunday and do not give any discounts to seniors. Ambience? I eat fast food very rarely. I was hungry, I was driving past so stopped at the Eatontown location. There were maybe 5 cars waiting. There was a woman jumping from both lines to take orders rather than talking to the box. I got to the pick up area, there was a great guy working there, not sure if he was the manager or not. He was so polite and had such a positive vibe, it was so nice to see which is why I'm giving two stars, because he was a great guy with a great attitude! My total for a chicken sandwich, fries and medium drink was $11.08... what the heck is up with that??? Last time I had this it was around $7.00?? I know every price has gone up but $11? Come on. This store is horrible. Went through the drive through. They told us wed have to park to wait because no food was ready. The wait was twenty minutes and at that point they had forgotten we were waiting. I went to ask where it was, and they didn't even remember. One of the most disappointing Chick-Fil-A experiences I've ever had. The cashier was COMPLETELY new and took 10 minutes to process our simple order- I knew the menu and computer system better than he did based on my patronage alone. There were no condiments (not even ketchup) available at the station, and I was given confused looks when I asked for some. The waitress / attendant walking around was inappropriately talkative, and repeatedly asked my party if we needed refills when I was the only one with a drink (a milkshake...) The chicken and fries were soggy, and we were given to-go packaging despite dining in. The bathroom was a disgusting wreck, and our bench seats were unclean. This was kinda funny. The drive through line was crazy long, which is expected of a drive through on a Saturday. When I pulled around, I saw an employee drop an entire tray of drinks while walking to a car. Ok, fine. I go up to retrieve my online order, where I said "I'd like four chick-fil-a sauces". If i could give this location a zero star I would. I've been here twice and will never go to this location again. The first time I pre ordered on line for drive thru pick up and ended up waiting 1 and 1/2 hours in a drive thru line I could not exit. I would have if I could and taken the loss on the money but no. And today I tried to give them another chance and went inside to order to go. 30 minutes later I got my order after people that arrived after me ordered there meals and left before I even complained to them. The Eatontown, NJ Chick Fil-A is arguably the worst run "fast food" place in America. One order taker typically. 2 open registers and multiple teen age workers yaking with each other but not doing anything. I don't blame them they are being given zero direction or guidance.
