Chick-fil-A is my go to lunch spot for their delicious fresh food and hospitable service. They are timely and always make my food fresh to order served piping hot. I adore their 8 piece grilled chicken nuggets with avocado lime ranch dressing. My favorite dessert from them is the brownie it is rich and moist. The dressing is smooth and tangy and compliments the smokiness of the grilled chicken. This location is a hit or miss sometimes. Sometimes the staff is good and sometimes I just don't understand why they are annoying instead of following the Chick-fil-A way!! Also, the food same thing. Visited Chick-fil-A on opening day - today! The process to order and pickup our food was so seamless, and everyone was super friendly (didn't expect any less from a Chick-fil-A tbh). The dining area is temporarily closed (only saw employees eating), so it's currently carry out only. The interior is bright and wide open! Once you head in, you get handed a paper menu (printed on nice colored paper) and then go to the employees with tablets, smiling and ready to take your order. That gets sent to the cashier area where you pay and pickup your food. We ordered 3 meals, with each meal consisting of a sandwich, a side (waffle fries, chips, or a kale crunch side), and a drink. The Spicy Deluxe Sandwich meal was $10.95 each and the Chicken Sandwich meal was $9.75. With tax, everything came out to be $34.46. Specifically, this was our order if you're interested :P (2) Spicy Deluxe Sandwiches, Chicken Sandwich, Kale Crunch Side, (2) Waffle Potato Fries, Freshly-Brewed Iced Tea Sweetened, and (2) Cokes. All of the chicken in the sandwiches were juicy, tender, and flavorful. Love the Chick-fil-A sauces and the cilantro lime packets too (I don't like cilantro, but I couldn't taste it in this sauce!). Did not come to get a cashier's viral load expelled straight at my face. They didn't even attempt to half mask or cover their mouth. Plenty of street volunteers in the neighborhood passing out sanitizers and masks for free. I almost admire this cashier's hubris. FYI: Delta has an r0 (reproduction) rate of 5-9 (compared with 2-3 for the original variant). It's WELL-DOCUMENTED in news and elsewhere vaccinated people carry the SAME VIRAL LOAD. My review remains at 3 sadly. I have come here atleast a dozen times now and I still dont see the quality that they are known for. On several occasions the chicken sandwich was either over cooked, and once under cooked (actual raw pieces). The service speed has greatly improved. The chicken tenders are good. The milk shakes continue to be wonderful and the waffle fries have become better. Sadly, when I bite into the sandwiches, they are dry. Maybe its just me, maybe I am just picky. They didn't do a good job for placing the sign where to pick up mobile order. I was waiting at the wrong area and no one pay attention to me until I asked one of the staffs. Then I had to go outside of the store and went in again at a different entrance to pick up my mobile order. Staff also not polite. after dropping off a friend in queens a chick fil a was on my radar and to be honest people tend to over hype the chick but i do like the spicy grill chicken sandwich and chicken corn soup. i along with other customers had to yell our orders to the chick team members cause wearing a mask and trying to talk over plexiglass aint easy. less then 5 minutes i got my bag and hit the road cause inside seating is not available until headquarters gives the all clear. if you dont like it spicy dont order the spicy grill chicken cause its no joke but it is tasty. overall the chick is ok when you are in the mood for it like i was on a friday afternoon. read more
