I don't ever write reviews but I would like to share that whoever the older gentleman that directs the drive thru during lunch service deserves recognition!! 3 times now I have recognized how significant of a contribution that this man plays to the everyday function of the drive thru operations. Rude and slow service. Customer service person didn't listen. Food was good and hot.

I am not one to usually write reviews, but after the incredible service I just experienced through the drive thru I felt compelled to! I have lived near the Fairview Heights location my whole life and the number of bad experiences i've had at this location are slim to non existent. After having a rough day/ week I decided to head to Chik for a quick dinner, because i know the food is always realizable and delicious. Speaking more on my rough week, sadly I think someone has been messing with my phone so all of my financial/personal information was compromised and the sweet young lady at the drive thru tried every possible thing to make sure I ate dinner. In fact she just ended up paying for it herself! All the young ladies working tonight helped make my week just a little better but I forgot to ask for their names haha. Will definitely return!! I've eaten at Chick-fil-a in basically every state they have them and this is the best one ever! All chick-fil-a's are clean and maintained. I love the soft music they play in the background. The staff is always super friendly. This one lived up to all Chick-fil-a standards in quality food and service. What makes them the best are the little details that I haven't seen anywhere else. -they have a sprinkle bar where kids can add their own sprinkles to their ice cream -they have little cups of Cheerios for the baby munchers -they have a step stool in the bathroom for easy access for children -they have little mouthwash cups in the bathroom to freshen your breath -they have monthly calendar events that offer specials and deals If I lived here, this would be my go-to place. They aren't getting things right the last few times we've been there. They keep forgetting things in the bag. Another example just recently ordered egg and cheese biscuit, spicy chicken biscuit, 3 hashbrowns. Got home only got two sandwiches had to run back up to get the hashbrowns got back home and wish would have opened up sandwiches cause got two reg chicken biscuits. The order on the bag had two stickers with exactly the order but none of the right food. Happening a lot there lately and super frustrating! I was very impressed with how friendly and polite all the staff is at this location. Unlike other fast food joints, or even CFA locations, this one made me feel like they actually appreciated my business. From the cashier to the managers to the staff cleaning tables, everyone was very welcoming and even come to check on you during your meal. I was asked multiple times if I needed my drink refreshed and my tray/trash was picked up before I had a chance to get up and toss it. I ordered twice during my visit and both times my food was ready within a minute of me placing the order which was pretty awesome especially it was hot and fresh as expected. For fast food/Fast Service, most have discovered Chic Filet is not only serve one of, But likely the best Fast Chicken Restaurants out there (better than many full service restaurants) Many restaurants (like the golden arches for example!) could learn a LOT from Chic Filet re customer service/ food freshness model! I recently tried the Cobb Salad which includes the traditional chic filet sandwich breast meat diced up on a generous portion of high quality romaine lettuce baby greens, red cabbage,carrots, roasted corn kernels, a blend of shredded Monterey jack and cheddar cheeses crumbled bacon, diced eggs, and grape tomatoes served with charred tomatoes crispy red pepper packet for crunch..... add the Garlic Herb Ranch dressing (I used about 1.5 packets) and you have a top notch salad, great for lunch etc for just north of $7 (a great value... as I challenge anyone to make this salad with all those ingredients for that price!) The Fairview Heights IL location's quality and customer service is excellent and its great to see management staff who KNOW what it takes to make for a great customer experience! *Example Amanda one of the Mgmt/director staff is focused on and succeeds in making this store work like a high quality/well oiled machine! read more

This may be the worst Chick-fil-A in the country! Typically, Chick-fil-A is known for friendly employees and top notch service, but they skipped this one. They are rude here and complain about doing their job. In an economy where people are struggling to find work there are still people who complain about the job they're doing. I try to stay clear from Chick Fil A, not because it's bad but it's that good! I tryed chick fil a for the 1st time in 2014, I was a little thrown back at the prices for 2 chicken sandwiches, 2 waffle fries and 2 lemonades. But that went left as soon as I took my 1st bite into that chicken. Seriously! This is the best chicken next to home cooked! I don't even need the bun, just wrap me up a couple filet and im good! I rarely go into the restaurant, I normally go to the drive thru (2 avail). As of date, I haven't had a bad experience with this location. I've had to wait once or twice but the staff is super nice and polite! My go to breakfast Chicken biscuit My go to lunch/dinner Chicken sandwich with waffle fries And I can't forget the Frosted Lemonade! Not just lemonade... Frosted Lemonade! This is by far the only place I've been able to order this from. I ordered it by mistake and loved every minute of it. Not sure if it's a seasonal drink because like I said I stay clear of chick fil A. If you're like me who watches carbs and saves money you will understand my pain here. My brother wanted to get milkshakes here today and omg! Seriously the best milkshakes I've had in awhile. We had the cookies n creme and strawberry. So glad Chik-fil-A opened here in Fairview Heights! This place provides great food, fast and at a reasonable price! It's been very well received since it opened, because it is always packed to the gils with customers! Their Spicy Chicken Sandwich is a favorite of mine. This place is bright and clean... exceptionally well managed. The staff is clearly trained to deliver outstanding service with a solid emphasis on the customer and their needs. They are cheery and display a positive, caring attitude. As crowded as this place has been since it opened... and I mean CROWDED... when you step up to the counter there is a full staff there to take your oder and assist in any way imaginable! I get extremely perturbed when I am waiting to order in a busy fast-food establishment, and out of four+ registers at the counter, only one or two are in operation. That is just not the case here and after visiting a number of times, it NEVER is! Once you order, proceed to your table. Good luck with that, because like I said, this place is always packed. So be prepared to wait for a table to open. I'll be honest, I've never had to wait more than a minute or two to find a table, though. Once seated, the friendly servers will bring your order out to you. Enjoy! The atmosphere is great, the service is exceptional, and the product consistently excellent! Drink refills are always free, but getting up to the front of the counter to get one, can take a few minutes. Look, ignore the stupid political controversy about this place. Chik-fil-A is a very well managed operation with employees who are trained at a level well beyond the norm. The product is extraordinarily good! This Chik-fil-A, as with all others, is closed on Sundays (in case you didn't know). Yeah it's a religion thing... the company owner is a deeply religious (Christian) man, and believes that Sunday (the Sabbath), should be a time for spirituality and family time. Regardless of your religious viewpoint, it's nice to see a business owner, stand by his convictions and put his moral position ahead of the almighty dollar! Some things are more important than the bottom line, and I applaud him standing by his position! Note... a new Chik-fil-A is about to open in Belleville, across from SWIC. Should open sometime in December, 2012. This should take some of the customer load off the Fairview Heights location. read more

Despite this, they kept the line moving, the tables clean, and all the employees were very pleasant. Came here for my free treat of Chic Fil A sandwich, I was going to do the curbside pickup but the parking spots were filled (even though people had already gotten their food.) I went thru the drive thru and redeemed my reward and the service was pretty speedy and the young lady at the window was very courteous and made sure I got all my condiments. The cashier put my order in and then just asked me how my day was going. He then paused what he was doing and listened for the response. It was late and no line. I LOVE Chick-fil-A, and I was craving it as we were heading out of St. Louis, leaving Shutter Fest. This location was perfect. It was on the way home and right off the interstate. Because we were in a hurry, we went through the drive thru. The food was delicious as always, but the lemonade was very watered down. I love Chick-fil-A's lemonade because it's so tart it makes me pucker. This particular lemonade tasted more like Minute Maid. Yuck! I also asked for extra ketchup, and we were only give 3 for two people. I can eat 5 for one medium fry alone. I'm a ketchupaholic. This place is the gold standard for Quick Service (aka Fast Food) restaurants. They do just about everything right. Great food, great service (very fast) and they go above and beyond what you'd expect from a Quick Service Restaurant. Flowers on the tables, employees who actually smile, employees who will run out to your car in the rain with an umbrella, dining room staff that refills your drinks, takes your trash, and brings you sauces, napkins, etc. A restroom that looks like something out of a nice, Full Service restaurant. And did I mention the food? Fresh, hot, tasty! Best chicken strips, sandwiches, nuggets, and fries of ANYWHERE. BTW, try this place for breakast. Their chicken biscuits are awesome! read more

For a "fast-food" style chain, terrific. Great quality chicken grilled or fried. Exemplary service usually better than most "full service" restaurants. Love and hate how they are closed on Sunday's for families to be together. Tiny and clean little play area perfect for the kids on bad weather days. You can also trade in the activity book for an ice cream on those hot summer days. As a parent I truly appreciate the business model and its execution. Thank you. read more

Seems to get better the more we go, which at this point is pretty much every Monday for military Mondays! Their sauces are amazing and the chicken is so yummy. But the true asset is the customer service. There is no other restaurant, let alone fast food place, where the staff is as fast, attentive and polite as Chik fil a. It's seriously beyond all other places and makes everything else seem like crap. I don't know how they manage to have the best staff in the world, but I applaud and respect it so much!
