I visited Chick-fil-A around 7:30 PM and ordered through the drive-thru. There was already one vehicle pulled forward waiting on their order, while another vehicle at the window had paid and received their food. Once I pulled up, I paid for my order and was then asked to pull forward behind the other waiting vehicle. The additional wait time itself was definitely an issue, especially since no one informed me beforehand that there would be a delay before taking my payment. When I questioned why I was only being told after paying, the teenage cashier and her coworker responded with smart, unprofessional remarks that were completely unnecessary. Instead of waiting, I went inside and requested a refund from the manager, Tonia/LaTonia. While she did process the refund and apologize, her attitude also came across as nonchalant and unconcerned. She never asked what happened or why I wanted the refund, which made the apology feel insincere and dismissive. I understand many employees are young and still learning customer service skills, but professionalism, communication, and attitude matter. The poor attitudes from both the teen employees and the manager turned what should have been a simple fast-food visit into a frustrating experience. I also expect much better customer service from a brand like Chick-fil-A, which is known for its hospitality and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect the level of service the company promotes. read more

I headed to Chick-fil-A because, I wanted to try a food hack. Did you know that if you get a Kids meal, you can get a small serving of Vanilla Ice cream instead of a toy? I upsized by Coke for a Dollar more. Then I added my Vanilla Ice Cream to my Coke w no ice to create a sweet, sweet Vanilla Coke float! It was so delicious! I went there for Saint Patrick's Day. It was so crowded. It's also Spring Break week. So, imagine the crowd. I decided to go inside. There was a bit of a wait. Not a problem. It was a great experience. I'll tell you how things went down. This little Asian lady who's been working there for years was eager to serve me. She asked other employees to help but, one was putting a ladder away and one was in the process of clocking in. She kindly hopped on to a register and took my order. So nice of her. I noticed the employees were happy to be there. They were friendly amongst one another and chatting with the Manager. It was a nice friendly environment. You don't see that very often. It seemed like there was 20 people in the small kitchen trying to get things done. They also have a new Pick up order screen. It's the same screen that they use for the Driver Thru. It's really helpful. It has your name on there and what you ordered. I like it because, you can see other food hacks. I saw the Manager Chris hard at work. He was restocking the Condiment Bar. It really didn't need it but, he was on top of things. He is very clean. A wrapped Fork fell on the Floor and he threw it in the trash. I also saw him, getting refills for a large family. Here's a fun fact for my Yelper Fans. S Truett Kathy has an auditorium named after him. It's located at Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. The Seminary named it after him because, he was a Southern Baptist who taught Sunday School for 50 years! Well, that's all I saw. So, head to Chickfila you won't be disappointed. Rude lady at the front not interested in your order mono toned no smile no welcome- I was the only one in the restaurant at the moment , and they yelled my name twice I was putting my toddlers shoe on she could of walked 6 steps to bring it - sure not necessary but it's what I'm used to a CFA it's part of the experience-I know this part of town has lazy ppl but it was just a little disappointing - I overheard the woman in front of me also saying her bread was cold and her chicken was microwaved- I thought I was th only one my bread was hard not toasted or warmed up my chicken was cold the only thing good was my sweet tea. Haven't eaten at this location in quite some time; however, it is still my favorite out of all the CFA's I eat at. There were two faces I recognized, one of whom I remembered by name. Even though he probably didn't remember me, he was cordial and friendly enough to visit with me for a few moments. Could tell the lobby eating area had gone through a few changes. Fewer tables and the ordering line cordons have disappeared. Probably for the better. Who knows?! Overall, the place is exactly as I remember it with a clean and well-maintained operation throughout. I usually love Chick-fil-A for their service, but today's experience left a lot to be desired. When we pulled up to place our order, the employee taking it (Becky) was completely inattentive. I was clearly trying to give our order in a respectful way, but she seemed checked out and gave us attitude for no reason. It honestly felt like she just didn't care. In addition, Becky ended up getting our order wrong on the receipt, which only added to the frustration since we didn't notice until our receipt was given to us. There was also an issue with our gift card, and instead of helping us figure it out, she acted like it was an inconvenience. Definitely not the level of service I'm used to here. That said, I want to thank the drive-thru team at the window-- they really did try to help and were much more polite and attentive. Go across the street (or down the street) to one of the other three ghetto chicken places (all of which frankly SUCK...food and service wise) that grace this part of town. I live 7 minutes from this chick fil a location on Alta mesa 18 years...now this location is just getting worse. I drive all the way out to the location on Hulen and i30 because they are clean and hot fresh food every time. Here at Alta Mesa the food is always wrong and warm...the place is a mess with trash overflowing from the trash cans all the tables are dirty and the floors and glass windows are filthy. I came I today hoping that after not coming here in a good while maybe it had improved but I was wrong. We sat outside waiting for our curbside order to be delivered. The restaurant was clean. After 15 minutes of waiting I noticed the app said the food had been delivered. Had to go inside to the restaurant and wait in a line to find out 1/2 our order was just sitting in the counter. WTH? They tried to say that was all we ordered and handed it to us. Nope. Went to this location while my daughter had soccer practice so decided to take my wife and little girls to eat. Worst idea ever I should've just went to McDonald's next door or long John silvers. I didn't receive my ranch which is a bummer. This score is mostly about the parking lot.. While better than the one on Overton, it still sucks. It's one way which makes it difficult to get to the curbside spots. People in the drive thru block the entrance to the lot. Once I got to my spot I saw people come in through the exit so they could park which is kinda dangerous because there were also cars zooming through the lot to the exit. read more
