This is a solid little Mediterranean diner. I came here with a group of friends and they were so accommodating. Service was quite slow (it took 40 minutes for our food to arrive) and our food came out at separate times, but let's count this as a feature, not a bug. To me, it's an invitation to slow down and appreciate the cooked to order food. I tried a falafel sandwich which was a bit dry, but otherwise, very filling. The Turkish coffee is not to be missed! Three years later... The Genie from Aladdin is still saying, "Phenomenal cosmic FLAVORS are in this itty bitty TASTY space!" My family and I stopped in after not being back in the area for dinner. We decided to get the Family Platter which was more than enough food for my 6'5'' husband, 6'3'' brother-in-law, 6'0'' father-in-law, 5'11'' mother-in-law and myself (a 5'9'' pregnant woman hahaha). This hidden gem was introduced to me by my dad and his wifey and it's now my go to for Mediterranean food. The place is pretty casual and laid back and the service is always extremely friendly and fast. The food is always delicious and I always invite friends to eat here when they want to try the food for the first time of if they've never been to a Mediterranean place in the area. I think the flavors are delicious and always tasty for being brought out so quickly. I've had Mediterranean food before and this little place hasn't disappointed me yet. The falafels are exceptional and I usually don't like those because most other places' falafels are dry. The lentil soup is also amazing. I ordered the gyro plate. Great service and great food. Grabbed to go for lunch and opted for a kebab plate with a skewer each of beef and lamb. Sides were Mediterranean salad and hummus. Good solid portion size and the skewers were wonderfully seasoned and cooked very tender. Salad was good also along with hummus. Only minor complaint was that the pita was completely cold by the time I made a 10 min drive back to the office. They packed it in a paper bag instead of tinfoil and a couple pcs in particular was especially tough/dry. Overall would recommend and eat at again. read more

The server took our drink orders immediately and came back to take our orders shortly after. They have lunch specials during the week until 3pm. The lunch portions were the perfect serving size. I got the chicken shawarma lunch plate and that came with rice or fries, soup or salad, a beverage, hummus and pita bread. The food came out within 10 minutes and it did not disappoint! We then ordered a sampler with a little bit of this and a little bit of that! We were able to try the boubagonoush *spell check*, Mixed Grill Platehummus (yes, warm Pitas were included), salad, stuffed grape leaves, lamb kabob, chicken swarma and rice! I LOVE this little cafe! From the always pleasant waiting staff to the amazing food, it's my family's favorite spot for lunch and dinner. This most recent time, we walked in and were immediately greeted by the two, ever present waiters before being seated. The cafe is very clean and features Mediterranean music. We ordered the large hummus with fresh pita bread and the spanakopita. The hummus is absolute perfection and every dish we ordered was beautifully presented. The Spanakopita! Hands down the best I've tasted: super crispy pastry on the outside and delicious feta and spinach inside with a light creamy sauce for dipping. For entrees, we ordered the to-die-for kabob plates: two chicken kabob orders and a single mixed plate that comes with lamb and chicken kabobs. For our sides we had a Greek salad and fries. For a place that does not need to have great fries, these fries went above and beyond! They are crinkle cut and seasoned to perfection, while crispy and light. The Greek salad was also fresh and was very refreshing. I cannot overstate how moist and flavorful the chicken is at this cafe. It is definitely a must try. I would've taken pictures but the entrees mysteriously vanished before I could get a good shot! Even though I'm Mexican, not Mediterranean myself, these flavors taste like home. I have no doubt in my mind that the kitchen staff pours their hearts into every dish they make. Hummus w/ pita bread - flavorful hummus and the hottest dang pita bread Tabouli salad - the richness of the oil, the freshness of the parsley and tomatoes, and the fresh lemon slice was just the most balanced perfection. Mixed grill (chicken, lamb, kafta kabob) - I have never hada more juicy kafta kabob. The pieces of parsley, the spices, geeez! I couldn't get over how wonderful it was and kafta isn't my favorite kabob. The chicken, oh my, so incredibly juice and tender and the char from the grill. Woooow! Now aside from the food, the service was freaking outstanding. I didn't catch names but two helped me and the were both the best. Stopped in Aladdin cafe to get a light but good lunch with my wife and a friend. I've driven by this place a lot but finally stopped in. Not the most appealing place on the outside or inside but it gives a nice homey vibe and ambiance. You can tell they have been in business for a while as the building is a bit ran down. The service was good, my Haria soup and my wife lentil soup came out quickly after ordering. The kabobs were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor.
