The food is great, warm, and tasty. However, the speed and service at this location are lacking. The drive through is almost always incredibly long. Some days I've had to wait 15-20 minutes from getting into line to getting my food. A number of the teenagers working here are treat customers more like they're part of an assembly line than opportunities to show good customer service. read more

Easily the worst Chick-Fil-A I've ever been to. The only reason I keep going is simply because it is the only one near me, after coming here for years at this point I've decided now is a fair time to leave a review. I'm well familiar with how a unit is supposed to be run and how the company is as well, this place meets none of those standards. Food wise though, it only gets worse. The last four times I've come, I've had either fries past when they are to be served or fries that were undercooked. Most recently, I've had an employee mix up my order, eventually correct it once it was pointed out, and then when I went to double check said order the contents were out of their boxes scattered throughout the bag. We've voiced concerns previously over issues, but it seems to me they've fallen on deaf ears. It's a shame when some units are only a Chic-Fil-A on the surface, and that they don't truly live up to the standards they are supposed to uphold. read more

I've personally worked for Chick-fil-A for 10 years of my life; it was my first job, and I moved up through the company, loving it, helping stores all over Atlanta, and even working at Head Quarters for just under three years; I know the level of expectation to say the least. However, we have visited this location 7 times, and every time we encounter: 20 minute drive through times, no greeting or eye contact at the window, no read back of our order, only a 'sauce is in the bag,' only to bite into fries that are LONG past their holding time (don't get me wrong I've eaten my share of old fries when on boards, but the fries from this location are even worse ), and chewy nuggets. I'll always support Chick-fil-A and Mr. Cathy's legacy, he put my life on the right path and I met a lot of great people through the company; I will not, however, waste another 20 minutes at this particular location. read more

I like this location a lot and I can't wait to come back! Yesterday was the very first time I went there and I stopped in because it was close to where I was attending a business meeting. Justin was my Cashier and he was very quick and knowledgeable. I would have to say that this guy has the best attitude and friendliness towards customers that I have ever experienced at any fast food place. Perhaps he was new and not yet worn out by some if the stressed customers in this area. I had ordered several meals to go. There were five people in my family to provide dinner for. He was on point, and even got the drinks and everything bagged and ready to go- lightning fast! By the time I was done entering my credit card information, my food order was already on the counter waiting for me. I was leaving and having some trouble carrying everything so Justin asked if he could help me carry everything to my car. Going through a massive remodel that involves the parking lot and drive up areas....but I have found that in general, they are organized and doing a pretty good job of serving their loyal customers and keeping things moving through the lines. I had a call in order mixup last month and didn't figure it out until I was in line for pickup...what could have been a nightmare was made into a positive experience by a member of the team working that day....Alexis. She was friendly, positive and efficient in working to rectify my problem....I had to wait a bit for the order to be remade so checked in with me and made me feel good about ordering there. I went to this location to have a quiet breakfast and read some articles. The employee that was sitting in the booth near the bathrooms was being so loud and obnoxious that I couldn't hear myself think let alone read anything and relax. The manager didn't say anything to her and despite other guests shaking their heads at her behavior, she continued and at times became even louder. I'm all for people having a good time and laughing, but an employee should not disrupt and entire establishment because she feels the need to be loud for attention. The employees behind the counter were excellent and the breakfast I ordered, other then the cheese being cold and not melted, was good. However, I hope someone explains to her that not everyone in Frederick wants to hear her opinions or see her dance in the walkway. Completely unprofessional. This place is amazing! Very fairly priced and the food is always up to expectations. The drive-thru line is fast and efficient but a tip if you're in a huge hurry is to place your order through the Chick-fil-A app about 5 minutes before you arrive so when you get there you can run in and you can jump the line and you're hot food will be sitting there waiting for you. At most fast food restaurants you have to check your bag before pulling away but this place always gets it right. The staff is beyond friendly and I would strongly recommend coming here. My favorite items are the chicken-mini biscuits for breakfast and the original chicken sandwich for lunch/dinner. I have tried many other things on the menu and have never had anything I didn't like. read more

Food is great, no issues there. Service is usually fast despite the extra long line they almost always have. Only 3 stars because of the customer service. I know they force you to say my pleasure and all, but just because you said it doesn't mean I believe you. There's a difference between a happy joyful well spoken "MY PLEASURE!" followed with a smile, verses a monotone, depressed, painful "my pleasure......" as if I'm talking to eeyore himself. Not all of them do that, some of them actually say it as if they mean it, but most of them don't. Unfortunately they don't wear name tags, so I can't give credit where credits due, and I can't put everyone who sucks at their simple job on blast either. However I do remember the name on the receipt, I won't say it because everyone has a bad day here and there, and there could be a good reason for her lack of joy. I love Chick Fil A food. However the experience of ordering through the drive through and trying to drive around the parking lot without hitting anyone is stressful at best. This is the most convoluted parking lot on the planet. It is like playing Frogger in real life! To dine inside is also an experience. The tables are always dirty. Everything is always sticky. The staff basically throw your food at you when delivering to your table and then run away. I understand hiring teens but sometimes too many inexperienced staff in a shift is detrimental to the service quality. And do not get me started on the bathrooms. Hire some more experienced staff to lead by example please. read more

I went through drive thru at the CFA in Urbana one day last week and let me just say, the two girls that were outside (I believe their names were Andrea and Chloe) were very nice and full of enthusiasm. I give them major credits too because it was like 95 degrees outside and they still had smiles on their faces. It's great to see the employees love their job so much. The service was quick and easy because both of these girls were working hard. I hope to see these two fabulous young ladies next time I go through the drive thru :) read more

I was really impressed with how efficient they were at lunch time at the Frederick location. It was packed inside so I went through the drive thru and it was super fast and they got my order right! If you want to get good fast food (that doesn't make you feel like you ate a brick afterwards) go here! I got the chicken wrap with avocado ranch sauce and waffle fries. I specifically joined yelp just to write this review. Let me start by saying I NEVER do this, I usually just avoid the restaurant but this being the only chic-fil-a in town I feel I must. We just moved here from Manassas and I guess we were spoiled because the chic-fil-a's there and especially the one in Bristow, Va were Outstanding! I have tried to like the one here in Frederick, we've gone back a few times and still nothing seems to have changed. It is just awful from head to toe! The service is insane, the wait is ridiculous (the whole point of having people outside is to speed the process along), it's dirty, and the food is gross. Yesterday while out school shopping we decided to give it another go (because we LOVE chicfil-a) but alas another disappointing experience! I don't know what the horrid smell outside was but that only added to my frustration. PLEASE go have a chat with the people in Bristow and Manassas and clean this place up. We would love to be regular customers! For now it looks like chic-fil-a will be a treat for us when we are visiting another city:( read more
