Was greeted when we entered and taking our order was quick and efficient. Decided on the 8 piece chicken nugget meal. Came with fries and a drink. Keep in mind this is real chicken nuggets and not the overly formed and heavily breaded variety you may have experienced elsewhere. I selected the Polynesian and chick fil a sauces and they were good independently, but mix them together and it was a zesty treat. Service here was friendly. During my meal was asked several times by different employees how my meal was and if there was anything more they could do? Hint: Free drink refills come with your dining in experience. However be sure to remove your cup lid completely prior to requesting it for they will not touch your lid. Great tasting food everytime! We always get the spicy chicken deluxe sandwich which comes with lettuce, cheese, tomatoe and a juicy spicy chicken patty. The fries are also mostly always fresh and warm and the sauces are delicous. Personally love the honey mustard, ranch and zesty buffalo. We also like getting the chicken nuggets for our toddler who enjoys the soft pieces of chicken. I've also tried their Southwest chicken salad which you can get with grilled chicken or fried chicken and both taste delicous and are packed with flavor from the beans, corn, dressing and tortilla chip toppings. I am into this cult and dont eat out at any other fast food place because the quality truly speaks for itself and the staff is always so welcoming and friendly. read more

But I went through the drive-thru a few minutes before 10pm on Tuesday, July 18 and the girls who were working the drive-thru kindly let me know right up front that this is not a location that employs people who I should trust to make my food. Thanks for the heads up ladies I will never return to this location as long as I live here because they obviously have no control over the 12 year olds on the payroll. It is about a 15-20 minute wait each time I place a mobile order, which by Chick-fil-A standards is a while. However, the food has been tasty and the orders usually correct. The main reason for the low rating is that the last two times my wife's grilled chicken salad has had a significant amount of fried chicken mixed in, which is not ok for people with gluten sensitivities. It seems like the salad prep station must be a mess. A few visits ago whole slices of fried chicken were in her salad, which were not supposed to be there. I included pictures of several large crumbs of breading that somehow landed in her salad yesterday. This is not the 1st time that I have noticed this happen at this location. The bathroom floor has been mopped but not dried. It is more slippery than an ice skating rink. This is a major safety issue. You are going to have hurt customers and lawsuits on your hands if you don't quickly remedy this problem. A simple solution would be to dry your floor after mopping. Had to get my Chick Fil A fix before the weekend and stopped by Thursday evening, right about 9pm. No lines inside but the drive thru was quite long. I was going to do 2 separate orders but as everything comes in a bag, one order it was- one CFA sandwich meal and two separate CFA sandwiches, without pickles. Oh, all seven sauces (totally forgot the cheese sauce until after!) The order was called back and I waited a few minutes before another employee brought my order and repeated the order. The sandwiches without pickles were clearly marked and the fries were hot. The sandwich was perfect, never seen such a perfect bun and warm chicken! It was fun trying all the sauces- some were too watery and salty but I kept going back to the garlic & herb ranch (I normally do not like ranch), which was a nice balance. The half tea, half lemonade was great too, really nice and refreshing. With a casual atmosphere and food kept simple plus done right as well as friendly employees, I see the obsession! The soft instrumental praise music was subtle and the motion detected trash disposal were all perks, but a little steep I thought. For a meal it was a little over 7.50 and one CFA sandwich came out to be over 4. Maybe I haven't had fast food in a while but thought it was a tad more than what I used to pay. People talk about the exceptional service here, but I find the service to be inconsistent. Yesterday evening (9/29) around 9:00 PM, I waited in the left hand drive-thru line, with two cars in front of me. And then I waited some more. And some more. And some more. All the while I was watching our drive-thru attendant chat, laugh, and flirt with the drivers of both cars in front of me. The employee working the right-hand line managed to help 7 or 8 cars by the time "Ryan" was finished with two cars. As I slowly crept up to finally place my order for some delicious chicken, our drive-thru attendant was trying to swap out with another employee. Before he could leave I asked him very directly why the other attendant was able to help more customers and he explained (without a hint of irony by the way) that the previous two cars were his good friends and he was catching up with them and that it's Chik-fil-A's motto to give good customer service. I'm pretty sure the customer service policy doesn't apply to keeping other customers waiting while socializing with friends. We did not place an order and went to a Mexican restaurant up the street instead. So to whichever overworked manager is tasked with reading these reviews - I probably won't return for a good amount of time. The young man working last night on the left hand drive-thru @ 9:00 PM-ish does *not* understand good customer service if he thinks it extends to making customers wait additional time for his personal activities. BUT-- whichever employee was working the right-hand lane was killing it! She was very quick from what I could tell, and every once in a while I could tell she felt overwhelmed while her co-worker "Ryan" was prioritizing his social time. read more

Having grown up in Georgia, I am of course a big fan of Chickfila. With the opening of the new restaurant at Tanasabourne, I no longer have to wait until i travel to get chicken nuggets and waffle fries. I stopped in today around 11 trying to beat the lunch crowd. I got a parking spot in front of the door and had about a 3-5 minute wait in line. Despite having ordered everything custom (spicy chicken sandwich with extra pickles and waffle fries with no salt), the food came out quickly and it was hot and just like i had in Arizona a couple weeks ago. The restaurant gets mobbed. When i left there was a line out the door. They have someone directing traffic near the entrance and there was a bike cop nearby (not sure if he was there to help or give out traffic tickets). They have tons of people working there for the opening and several people asked if they could get me anything else. My only complaint is that all Chickfila stores should carry Tabasco sauce. I don't want to put Texas Pete on my sandwich, nothing personal against them but taking away Tabasco is like taking away the pickles. read more

Although this had never happened before at the Tanasbourne location, we are only human, and there might have been a few items missing from my order when I got home. I called this location and spoke to Cory advising of the opportunity. He immediately provided great customer service and advised that since I was already on my way back, he would make sure I got the items I was missing, and provided his service to me directly upon my arrival! I provided my receipt and he did not question the items provided as other restaurants would have. This made me feel completely comfortable, and a definite customer for the time to come. I'm no stranger to Chik-Fil-A, I use to eat this stuff almost everyday for lunch, which is probably why I took it for granted. After moving out here and finding out there were no Chik-Fil-As, I was pretty ecstatic to see last fall that there was a "coming soon" sign!! I didn't expect the food to be as good as it was back home, but it might actually be better! The fries were just right in freshness and didn't have that artificial aftertaste I get from places like Mickey Ds. The Deluxe Chicken Sandwich was just heaven, and at the end there was that crunchy breading I'd missed so much. Costs a little more than the other chains nearby (around $7 for a meal), but it's worth it. To say they are below Taco Bell or McDonald's is a crock, but I guess if you like your "meat" to come from mysterious substances that were probably glued together in a lab, then yeah, Chik Fil A isn't for you! I'd like to also mention that opening day staff were awesome, they're still giving out prizes and the owner was even out amongst the crowd greeting and taking pictures with folks. I've never felt such genuinely happy vibes from workers in similar establishments before, so hopefully they will continue to showcase such attitudes. It's been open about 10 days now, so time to give it a try! We went around dinner on a Saturday night, there was quite a line of people out the door, so we decided to do the drive through. There were probably 50 or more cars in line, but the moved pretty quickly. We tried chicken sandwiches, the toasted bun is nice and the chicken is tender and delicious! The waffle fries were great, they have a fry sauce that is different than I have tried before, it's sweet and kinda like a honey mustard. But the more I ate it, the more I liked it. What is the draw for this chain? It's cult like following is perplexing. Even though it's the only one in PDX (that I know of) - all Chick-Fil-A's have long lines for terrible food. It is commonly praised for its quality - of which I have yet to ever see. Spicy chicken sandwich - breading is soft, has no crunch, and the chicken breast tastes like flavorless rubber. The breast was over cooked...each of the 3 times I've gotten it (totally my fault for being duped into coming here 3 times) Fries - again not crispy, perhaps this is a theme. They were undercooked and would be better revamped in a toaster oven at home. The one pro of this place is that the staff is pleasant. If you're a regular, this review won't sway you. My daughter ate here with friends while traveling, and she left her purse at a table and left. Once she got home several hours away, she realized that she lost her purse. She contacted this Chick-Fil-A location and they had her purse. A worker found it and gave it to the manager. The manager, Jeff Weston, had my daughters purse overnight express shipped to my daughter, and even sent a Chick-Fil-A gift card. My kids now 11 and 12 have been eating at Chick since they were tiny we lived a block away from a location in Laguna Niguel. Today was our FIRST time of HUGE Disappointment. All sandwiches looked and felt so small the bread and especially the chicken. our Large Fry was nothing but small crumb pieces. This place has it right. The service here is by far the most efficient in the area. There are a few other fast food joints in the area, and they all take way longer to get you served even with the same volume of customers, are not as friendly, and they get your order wrong much more often. This chick fil a is quick, efficient, friendly, and gets you what you ask for. Which is all you can ask for from fast food. Pro tip, if the drive thru line looks long. Try curbside delivery.
