This location has become my go-to CFA in the Hoover area. In large part bc it's the only one with a playground but also because I have experienced increasingly better service over the course of the past 6 months. Food is consistently well prepared, orders consistently accurate and the CFA team members are always courteous and helpful! I've included a snapshot of some of my experiences below. (Jan 2026) Visited twice today (around 11 am & 3:15 pm) and received excellent service both time via the Mobile Thru Lane. Wait time at lunch was longer than usual but not unreasonable give the time of day and length of the line. I was asked to pull around to park & wait for my order. (Feb 2026) Slooooooow service. Don't visit around lunch time or in inclement weather. Wait times are outrageously long. Don't order a 10-piece strip family meal unless you have time to wait. Everytime I've ordered it I have been asked to park in the mobile thru spot & have waited atleast 15 mins. (03.11.26) Error when processing mobile thru order via the Web (recently uninstalled the CFA app). Called to speak to a manager. Automated prompt system moved quickly & I was able to speak to a manager (Mark) within a minute of calling. He confirmed my request and was pleasant to speak to. (04.03.26) Long line of cars pulled in all at the same time. Half went to mobile thru. Me and the others were serviced quickly in the drive thru. Erika was friendly and efficient at taking my order. (06.29.26) Dined-in for breakfast. Packed out at 8:30 am. By 8:45 the dining area was empty. (06.30.26) Dined-in for a late night snack with my three children around 8:30 pm. This is the worst Chick Fila in the area. They consistently get our order wrong. And employees do nothing to help. Was told I could only order one chicken sandwich and then learned that was not true. Terrible customer service. Will be driving to another restaurant if we get Chick Fila. read more

Picked up a Kale salad which I absolutely love. I added my fav toppings which was grilled chicken, buffalo sauce and almond slices( I also add cherry tomatoes every now and again) . This location was not busy as normal which was good for me to get in and out. The establishment is pretty popular and can be busy at times but they make up for it in customer service read more

Chick-fil-A's food is mostly the same everywhere. So WHY am I taking time to review this location?!! Because of the DRIVE THRU EXPERIENCE! This team KNOWS how to move cars through their drive thru quickly! They are fast and usually accurate, which is a big deal when picking up food and driving off--you don't want to discover a mile down the road that they gave you a drink you can't stand or forgot the napkins! Another HUGE plus in our family is the Pup Cup that good dogs get when they mind their manners. Nash absolutely loves it! And seeing his tail wag makes me smile. read more

Out of all the fast-food restaurants, Chick-fil-A has continually been my favorite. Per my last visit, I ordered the spicy southwest salad and I substituted the grilled chicken for the fried chicken. This salad has easily become one of my favorites, as it is a very satiating menu option while still semi-healthy. The only unfortunate downside to my order is that the salads are a bit more expensive than all other menu items. My total for the salad alone was about $10. I chose to dine in with some friends. We went for dinner on Saturday night, so the inside was a bit busy with families of younger kids. Despite the crowd, the inside was clean and the workers were very helpful. Speaking for all Chick-fil-A restaurants, the only criticism I have to contribute is that they could benefit from creating a larger parking area. I don't normally review a national fast-food chain restaurant. But I was so impressed with the drive-thru service today that I wanted to share my experience. The two lane drive-thru is very well thought out. One lane is for traditional drive-thru orders and one for mobile orders. The workers use handheld electronic devices to take orders and process payments. The workers even walk down the queue to get the next order instead of waiting for the car to come to them. The young men and ladies working were so polite and well-spoken. Although this should be the norm, it is refreshing because it is so rare. Great job by this franchisee in hiring, training, and reinforcing these skills. Every drive-thru should be this efficient. Great job Chick-Fil-a. read more

Ok so I hate hate hate to do this but I am boycotting the Grove CFA location. They can't get it together. This week I went in twice for breakfast. Thursday and today. It was a test and they failed. I ordered my normal hash brown chicken breakfast burrito. On the menu - nothing special. Each time I placed the order in the mobile app 5-10 mins before I got there. Upon arrival - I see many people standing around and a few people actually getting orders together. I wait and I wait and I wait in the pickup area. Both times I have had to ask the person at the counter when my food would be ready. After 10 minutes and a hundred other people's orders being given to them - I asked for the manager. I was told that burritos are made to order - I said I know but I have been waiting for over 10 mins and I placed the order via the app 10 mins before that so it should be ready. I stated this is a continuous issue when I order from this location and order this item. I referenced Thursday and my discussion with the people that day. If you can't get a burrito out in the same time as you get a biscuit out then maybe you should assess your menu items. Also having the young child standing on the wall tell me that she can't help me because there is no way to really say when my order will be ready is infuriating- retraining is in order as well. I love CFA but will never go back to this location. I will await the Galleria location reopening and temporarily visit the Hoover commons location. Just went there today been waiting in the drive they for an half an hour by the time I gotten to the window my food was not ready and the cooks need to hustle up the line is backed up to the street. I haven't went to any Chick-fil-A that didn't deserve a 5 star rating. The business model of Chick-fil-A is set throughout all the franchises that I have visited. All the employees I encountered serve with a pleasant attitude and the close of my order is always concluded with a believable "my pleasure". No one does drive-they service like Chick-fil-A! Seriously, these other chain restaurants should take notes. I very rarely go inside this location. Even if the drive-thru line is long, I know Chick-fil-A will manage it well so I'll be through the line in under 15 minutes on most days. The food and lemonade are great. I think the chicken is seasoned with just a tad bit of heaven because it's really good. When I get a salad, I get the Avocado Ranch dressing and it just takes the salad to another level. I stopped by this Chick Fil A location on a road trip up to TN, we chose this location due to them being so conveniently located off of the freeway, their close proximity to Sprouts, and they have a playground. The parking lot here was so easy to use and there was ample parking. We walked in and sent the kids into the playground and sat down. I think this confused some of the employees, because one questioned if we were ordering anything. We did, just throught the mobile ordering app. This location feels nicer than your typical Chick-Fil-A it's a little shabby chic, they even had cornhole set up outside. Today at 2:12 pm I ordered a chargrill chicken sandwich with fries. My fries were fried really hard and the meat was so tough I couldn't bite through the sandwich. Like a overcooked steak. I was unable to eat it and had to go purchase food somewhere else. I have visit this location before but have never had a problem but today was just the worst Chick-fil-A experience ever. This is the slowest CFA ever! Not once have I had my order filled quickl! I always order with the app! Always have to wait and wait and wait. - Started with 'mobile thru' that was horrible! - Started using curbside, not much faster than 'mobile thur' and they stopped that! - Started using 'inside pick up,' I tried selecting 'im already in the restaurant' a little early to get my order working a few minutes early, not better! They turned 'inside pick up' off today. The food is fine! Exactly what I expect from a CFA! But, this is such a slow process every time! Worst service at a chik-fil-a I have ever had. Waited at speaker for 7 minutes as the "express mobile" line let many cars through... Ordered a number 5, persons kept repeating the order wrong. After a long wait to get to the window. I asked them to repeat the order again and they had it completely wrong again. Finally got it placed and then after taking the money, they wanted me to pull around to the parking lot and wait even more! She said they were out of egg and had to make more. Worst CFA I've ever gone to and unfortunately it's the one closest to the house. I am a fan of the new express feature which is designed for you to scan a code and merge into the line after scanning. This CFA has its employees tapping your window asking for your name as if you're in the regular line. It's a reason people use certain features, in my case I'm usually on a conference call and don't want to be interrupt my call. The manager who also appeared to be the owner began making excuses for why they do it the way they do. My issue is that this is not how CFA designed the express feature. I called corporate and they confirmed this is not how it should be done and apologized. Next visit I decide to use the curbside feature. No straw, no sauce. Had to get out and come inside to get it. Next visit, I try express again, and before I get up there I hear one particular employee saying "here she comes again" and walks off and tells another person to check me in, of which I still get disturbed by the repeat of my order and asking of my name, all to get home to an incorrect sandwich. I give up. Clearly this one just isn't going to get it right and has no plans to either seeing how management supports not doing things the CFA way. read more

Chick-fil-A is my favorite fast food restaurant. I formerly worked for them as a college student. This location is not only conveniently located for those of us in Bluff Park so that we can avoid the Galleria traffic, but the service and quality is also great! I have ordered from this location at least 5 times now and have consistently gotten great service and quality of food, hence the 5 stars! I most recently used their curbside pickup. I was very impressed! It took less than 60 seconds for them to bring out my food and put it into my hand- hot and fresh, too! I typically ordered grilled and my husband orders fried. Although I've never been to a location where the service wasn't friendly and accommodating, I must say this location was a notch above the rest. We dined in.
