Earlier this week, some of my friends and I went to Chick-fil-A, and while we were there, I got the meal that comes with the Spicy Deluxe Chicken Sandwich. Inside, there was a really large line, but we didn't have to wait for very long in the end. After placing my order, I didn't have to wait more than five minutes before the delicious meal arrived at my table. Outstanding customer care and kind, helpful employees are always provided there. Since they did not have any Covid protocols in place, the next time I go to Chick-fil-A by myself, I will use the curbside pickup option instead of going inside to get my food. read more

The past three times I have been here, which has been spread over the past 6 months, they have missed and cleared my pick up order and then I spend 10-15 minutes trying to get someone's attention. I understand that this is a high volume store but things would be far less complicated if they could actually provide the services they offer. If pick up orders and curbside orders are too much to handle in the morning, don't offer the option. Service is friendly half of the time, but slow. just went through drive through at this location. not one other car in the drive through, not one - zero. three guys working the drive through just standing there. two lanes. apparently I chose the mobile app lane as they were both empty so I took the closest lane. They don't come to the car, although there are three of them just standing. so I lower my window they ask if I ordered on app, I say no and one kid rolls his eyes. the other takes my order and then proceeds to tell me that normally they would tell me to drive back around since I was in app lane. this place clearly missed the Chuck FIL a training on custOmer servic. read more

Rather than give your order to a speaker, employees are standing outside in the drive thru lanes. You also pay a employee outdoors rather than at a window. I personally don't care for the setup as it doesn't seem safe for the workers or patron. The chicken was fine but the biscuit was a little dry and hard. I'll pass on this location. read more

Pretty sad that Chick-fil-A now requires food to be delivered through DoorDash. Prior to this my orders were correct and timely. Now they are sloppy and wrong. Shakes were melting and running over the sides. I actually had poor Carolyn B's order...she's probably sad too...Tried calling the restaurant and the rep told me that they couldn't help me and gave me a customer service number to call. That number has had me on hold for 30 mins. Tried to leave a review on their app but they defer to DoorDash. Chickfila is pretty consistent across the chain and this one was no exception. This is a nice and new Chickfila. We went through the drive through. It was very busy on a Saturday afternoon and I was impressed that they had attendants coming to your car to take your order before you arrived at the window. Now, this is my gripe and the reason I can't give five stars. No cheese sauce! I was shocked. The guy taking my order didn't even know what it was and double checked over his radio to see if they had it. I love getting the cheese sauce to dip my waffle fries in and couldn't believe they don't have it here. Must be an Alabama thing! Overall, food was good as usual. Very disappointed in the management at this Chick-fil-A. I just left but was in the mobile order line and a car was in the regular line and had blocked both drive thru lanes. I tapped my horn and they don't move, then I tap it again and finally a worker asks them to move over and they move a little bit but are still blocking both lanes. The worker then walks over, and I'm thinking they will ask them to move more but the worker stands there and takes the order. I honk again and the worker has the audacity to look down and shake her head. I then made it past this car but hopping the curb. Then we tell management what happened and all they can do is say sorry. I was very disappointed in how they handled it and am disappointed in the worker who shook her head. I thought Chick-fil-A held its workers to a higher standard but I guess not. Unfortunately this isn't the first time something like this has happened to me at this Chick-fil-A.This same thing happens to me over a year ago with someone blocking both lanes, however the management was very kind and apologetic about it and gave me a gift card for a free meal. I don't care that I didn't get a free meal this time, I'm more upset with how they handled it and how the drive thru workers could honestly care less about it. I just recently made the move back to Hoover. Being an avid Chickfila lover, this would be the most convenient location to me. I'm so impressed with this location. Even if the line is in the parking lot they are so fast! And I've had one of the best chicken biscuits EVER at this one as well. Everyone is super friendly and gives great customer service. I do go here pretty often for breakfast, because I love their chicken minis. Unfortunately, I found a hair in my hashbrowns, and this isn't the only time that there's been something wrong with my food here. When I told the workers about the hair, they did refund me for the hashbrowns, but didn't really apologize or seem concerned about it. read more

Got horrible service today. Order catering chicken mini ahead of time. Went to the restaurant then waited 5 min. Then check they said oh we are making fresh. A lady came ahead of me and got her catering order still have not go mine. Everyone else got their orders except me. Waite 15 min no update. I understand it's busy and weekend at least update me. This review is based on my drive through experience only. This is hands down the best drive through in the area! Long 2 lane approach that has two service attendants that are standing by the menu board to take your order. Very friendly and knowledgeable! Have never had a bad experience with service from the order takers. They take your name and add it to the order and when you approach the pay station, again an outside attendant that greets you with your name to ensure they are looking at the correct order. Then to the window for food pick up. Very quick process and exceptionally friendly staff. Set's the bar high for other places in the area. Food, typical Chick-fil-A. Food at this location (drive through) has always been fresh and warm. Flavor is what you have come to expect from the chain. As far as fast food goes they are hard to beat! Also, if your dog has joined you on your Chick-fil-A drive through excursion make sure to ask for a dog treat.....they'll hook you up with something for your pup too! Highly recommend! read more

We were traveling from New Jersey to Marion Military Institute in Marion Alabama for parents weekend. Just around Birmingham we started to get hungry and decided to give Chick-fil-A a try. (Yes it would be our first try) Well...as my wife and I were walking in I held the door for a gentleman walking in a couple of boxes on a hand truck. My wife and I made our order (a#1 & a #2) and went to pay and notice the amount seemed low. My wife was about to question the amount and the cashier said that we were given a discount for holding the door open for the gentleman bringing in the boxes. Needless to say we were stunned. When this restaurant first opened, it was great! The staff was friendly, the orders always accurate and the overall cleanliness of the building was excellent. However, over the years the cleanliness has decreased tremendously to a point where when we go in now we see workers standing around and garbage sitting on tables as well as on top of the garbage can which will not open. The workers are not as friendly anymore as they seem to despise the "my pleasure" because it is now a joke across-the-board everywhere! As for the accuracy of the food orders... It has become an absolute nightmare every single visit! Things are left out of the order Or things are on the sandwiches that are not wanted and the order was placed as such. There have also been several visits where we have found hairs in our food! My husband for example, ordered a chicken club sandwich and just did see the tip of the hair sticking out of his sandwich. He opened it and pulled on the hair and the hair was probably about 20 inches long wrapped around bacon and embedded in his cheese! I wrote a private Facebook message to the manager stating as such and he basically stated that that was unacceptable and he apologized but he did not offer to replace the meal in which my husband was absolutely not going to eat it! We don't go back to the store anymore instead we drive an extra 3 miles down to Patton Creek and visit that store! Staff as much friendlier and the orders are correct! Chick fil a was very efficient taking our order, collecting money, and distribution of breakfast meal. Very smooth transaction. Really disappointed today. I ordered breakfast for my family on the app and drove all the way to chick fila for them to tell me they can't serve it anymore. I ordered it BEFORE 10:20 and got to chick fila around 10:28 (breakfast ends at 10:30) but my ordered had been charged on the app and everything. Another great Chick-fil-a. Brand new store in the Grove shopping area. Inside was clean and as always very friendly staff. We walked in and needed a party platter. We gave them no warning and walked out with the largest platter of nuggets 3 gallons of drinks and cups, plates, napkins in about 15min. That's was pretty awesome.
