When I placed my order I was heartbroken to learn that this location does not allow gift cards to be used apparently which makes no sense. Girlfriend and I had some time to waste before heading to the hotel from the airport so we decided to stop at this Chick-Fil-A to grab some breakfast so I won't (in my girlfriends words) become a hangry chipmunk. These folks aren't as friendly as the ones that Chick-fil-A are known for. This is the airport Chick-Fil-A, so they're down to business here. Get your food and git. They're fast around here, but it's because it's a very limited menu here. The stuff is likely already warm, ready for your order to get you on your way to your final boarding gate. The fries are the best thing out of there, they're waffled. The sandwich was still kinda soggy, and I've never cared for pickles on my fried chicken. I came here because I was hungry. Gah. The honey dipping sauce is real honey! Other chicken places have honey-flavored corn syrup, and this is the real thing, so extra star for that! They don't offer any of the membership points and perks here. I'd prefer to keep restaurants like Chick-fil-A out of the airports, and support local restaurants instead. I'm sure some Houston restaurateur would love to have this spot, and give travelers a taste of H-town. These guys are from Georgia. In line with expected service and quality from chick-fil-a. I always get the spicy chicken sandwich and large waffle fries. Can't go wrong with a proven winner. At some airports the staff and quality at restaurants, even chain restaurants lack compared to non airport locations. Not the case here. The cashier offered me a bacon, egg and cheese but she can't make it with chicken - or I can order chicken without the egg or cheese. Absolutely ridiculous. The chicken biscuit without the egg was hot and tasted good, but didn't feel like buying a separate bacon egg and cheese so I could add it to the biscuit and get what I as really craving. I'm a fan of Chick-Fil-A and this location inside the airport did not disappoint. They have a large area with about 10 tables or so. Has the familiar minimalist decor just like the other locations. Even with all of the other food places around, I was drawn to Chick-Fil-A. The had great services and the employees are attentive. They had the line moving quickly and I got my food promptly as well. Love the waffle fries! I have to remember that they are all about the sauces. I always rotate though them because it's hard to choose. There area was clean and presentable. When you get through security at Hobby airport and reach the gates and the first thing you see is a Chick-fil-A, then you take that sign and run with it. At first I was thinking am I even hungry? The chicken and tomatoes had made the sandwich a bit soggier than I'd ever been used to and the fries were saltier than usual, but other than that it was alright. Still a nice change from the regular chains we used to see at airports back in the day! This location is pretty large with plenty of tables for people to eat and even catch up on work. It's right by Gate 1 for those wondering. The entire place was also very clean and the condiments section was perfectly stocked as well. My sister and I were at the Houston airport for a layover and debated whether to get expensive burgers or fast food. Since we didn't feel like shelling out $18 for a burger, especially after coming back from vacation, we opted for Chick-fil-A instead. I haven't been here for the longest time, but I was pleasantly surprised. We each got the supreme chicken sandwich which basically included lettuce and tomatoes. The chicken was moist and crisp and the veggies were fresh. Seriously a decent sandwich. We also shared a medium waffle fries which was lacking in salt a bit but still crispy. This chick fil a was in an airport. The staff here was not quite the very well mannered, incredibly helpful with very prompt service that I'm used to. They were a little harried and it showed. Manners and smiles weren't present with many of the staff. The food was ok. It wasn't warm and fresh which was surprising since they were busy. Typically, you can assume you will get the same great quality with amazing service at every location. Apparently the rules are a lot more lax at this location. The staff here would never be allowed to work and perform like this at my local stores. I was also disappointed that they would not scan for my rewards program. if you're traveling on Southwest out of Houston Hobby to one of their international destinations, you're in luck! Located just before Gate 1, you can spot it from a mile away. The line was long but it moved very quickly. Service was quick and efficient along with their dose of politeness. They have a large seating area for the amount of guests passing through. The dining area was clean and well stocked. We wanted a quick breakfast before leaving to Jamaica. My husband was able to get a chicken, egg and cheese sandwich to fill his appetite. I'm not always as hungry as he is. On their menu was a yogurt parfait with fruit and nuts that was perfect for me. The Greek yogurt filled with plenty of fruit was delicious! The separate nut pack allowed me to mix it in. Sometimes before vacation I just want to have a light meal and they provided it well. My husband was just as delighted with his sandwich. THIS LOCATION DOES NOT ACCEPT REWARDS!!! I was in line over ten minutes. There were no signs anywhere stating that they don't accept calendar rewards. When I got up to the desk the guy was distracted and kept answering questions from the other cashiers. When I finally ordered and told him I have a free chicken biscuit, he told me that this location does not take the app. I can understand that they wouldn't allow online orders since that would slow them down, but even Starbucks will scan your app if you have enough starts for a bday drink. When it comes to fast food I'm a Chick-fil-A supporter and as with all their locations you'll find great service even with it being in an airport. This particular one tends to sport longer lines than most other restaurants in Hobby, but they move through it quickly with great service. Keep in mind, they don't have the traditional menu here, rather a scaled down version. Most passengers on Southwest use gates 20-50. However, this is located near Gate 1. Fortunately, once you pass through security if you veer right (and then stay left, not heading to baggage claim) you can still come here. It's a mere five minute walk from the mass of Southwest gates. As for the food, it tastes like all Chick-fil-A does. However, I'm still at a loss for why my chicken sandwich only covered less than half of the bun (you can see it in the photo). This is not something that's normal at the chain and I'm guessing a one-time thing. Hopefully, it doesn't happen to you, too. Otherwise, expect some of the better fast food we have. read more

if the food took as long as the line then i would definitely have an issue with this cfa, but honestly, this is the best option if you're on a time crunch. we had a 1 hour layover and still managed to finish our lunch before we boarded our second leg. the line was definitely piled up, but it moved relatively quickly, but once i paid i was able to pick up my food pretty quickly after... my salad was actually surprisingly really good, and customizable. limited menu, they don't offer everything like they do at non-airport locations. but still does the job. read more
