I had to shout him out on Yelp for his amazing customer service last week and really going above and beyond. I ordered a cobb salad and it took a few extra minutes for the chicken to be cooked. He kindly asked me if I could pull off to the side and he would bring it out to me when it was ready. While I was pulling off to the side, I mentioned to my friend in the car how good an ice cream cone sounded but I didn't end up ordering one. I always order breakfast from their chick-fil-A app and it's very convenient to be able to have it delivered to me. This time around the order took longer then expected and when it finally arrived it was missing one of the 4 sandwiches I've ordered. I called to inform them about my situation and asked about a refund because the delivery fee is ridiculous and the best they can do is send me something through mail. Ok I'm so bummed and feeling like chick fil a let me down for the first time. I love chick fil a, I literally visit a chick fil a at least 3 times a Week sometimes twice a day-- I love it. Also fair warning, im writing this hangry, because I'm supposed to be enjoying a southwest chick fil a salad right now and I am not. and here's why: I'm here in California visiting from Utah with my whole fam, everyone was hungry and I volunteered to go pick up chick fil a for us for dinner. I had to drive 15 minutes away to get to chick fil a but we love it and it's what everyone wanted. But. They messed up our order in the most frustrating way We ordered two salads and two chicken wraps (some fries and nuggets too but those are the things that got messed up) First of all: None of our dressings made it into the bag which SUCKS because who wants to eat a dry salad?? We are staying at a hotel, we don't have any backup options in the fridge to makeup up for that mistake (And get this. We knew we had a big order and we SPECIFICALLY ASKED the employee who handed us our food through the drive through window if all the dressings were there because it was a lot of dressings and we could see how they could get forgotten easily. He brushed us off with a confident "yes all the dressings are there"). And even when I decided maybe I'd just eat it dry because I was so hungry.... I realized I wasn't given any forks My mom had gotten in n out some point in our trip and had a used fork from the cheese fries.... so my dinner option ended up being.... eat the dry salad with my fingers.....or....eat it with a used in n out fork. Second of all one of the salads had none of the toppings. It was missing everything but the chicken and the lettuce, it did however have an unexpected ingredient.... it had a piece of paper in it. Chick fil a are you ok???? How unlike you. Then, the least of the the issues but still annoying, we got those two cool wraps, and one of them was made correctly but the other was made with chopped chicken (like cubes that were relatively large for a wrap) instead of the sliced grilled chicken So anyways I'm just tired and hungry and so is half my family, and I and spent almost an hour with the 30 minute round trip of driving to get the food and anyways I guess the moral of this review is just that you need to double check your order before you go home And also the paper in the salad? I love chick-fil-a!!!!!! When it opened across the street from my alma mater, I was very excited to try it for the first time. I didn't expect too much, but when I got my first fried chicken sandwich, I fell in love! The breading is crispy, and the chicken is consistently juicy and perfectly cooked... The best part though, is that chick-fil-a sauce! It kind of tastes like BBQ and honey mustard had a baby, delicious! The criss cut/waffle fries are also a crowd favorite, as well as the breakfast items (ends at 10:30 sadly...). The lil hashbrown medallions are so cute and easy to eat! This location is very modern looking and super clean. It's really big and has a lot of inside and outside seating. It's mostly college kids working here so either you catch a student on a good day--friendly and helpful, or someone whose attitude matches just failing a test--monotone... Lol. Chick-fil-a has the best fast food chicken sandwiches... I wish there was a San Francisco location!! read more

This Chick-fil-A is fantastic! If you've been to other Chick-fil-A restaurants in the area (such as The District or Tustin Marketplace), you'll immediately notice how this location has a significantly more contemporary design and looks great for a fast food restaurant. I think this definitely falls in the recent pattern of fast food restaurants modernizing their image and decor. I especially like how clean and efficient the ordering counter and cashier space looks; since the kitchen is well-hidden in the back, they've kept the front looking simple and inviting. (Side rant: this is unlike your typical McDonald's or Starbucks where everything is pretty exposed and the you see all sorts of machines, opened boxes and junk laying everywhere. Specifically, for a huge chain that usually cares so much about atmosphere, most Starbucks are terribly cluttered behind the counter!) Aside from the aesthetics, this Chick-fil-A also seems to function extremely efficiently and appears like it was built for the sheer volume of cars, college students, and nearby working professionals that will probably frequent the restaurant. For instance, this particular Chick-fil-A boasts two drive-thru lanes to help speed things along. (I can't help but compare this to the glacial pace of In-N-Out's perennially long drive-thru line.) Moreover, there are I think 6 or 8 cashier stations (a lot!) which also also seem to have the capability of accepting payment via smartphone. On this I don't have any further information, but it would also really help speed up the payment process. This Chick-fil-A is also huge--like, the biggest I've ever seen. Their fire dept sign says they can accommodate some 250 people. There is ample seating, lots of booths and tables, as well as a covered outside patio. And, with the ability to handle all these customers, I noticed that this location uses a colored table marker, along with your name, to help find you and give you your order. This is likely a tremendous help for accuracy and efficiency. As is usual with Chick-fil-A, service was outstanding for a chain fast food place. Whatever their training program is, it definitely works because even on an extremely busy opening day, the ordering and dining process was smooth sailing--no mistakes, no bad attitudes, and not slow. Usually restaurants take a while to get into their groove and I normally wouldn't visit one on an opening day, but I'm glad I did in this case. Finally, when it comes to the food, my spicy chicken sandwich was perfect. It was so freshly hot and moist that I knew it had just been prepared minutes before. The fries were good as always, though they also go by so fast! In conclusion, this Chick-fil-A is probably the best I've been to (and I've been to an unhealthy number of Chick-fil-A's), and thankfully I now have no reason to get a spicy chicken sandwich from the UCI food court Wendy's anymore. read more

For a fast food chain Chik Fil A is on the top of my list. Excellent service, clean store, fast service and good food! Prices are high, but they seem to always be when it comes to chicken. Portions are small, but it won't leave you feeling bloated or guilty which makes it a great lunch. They have a huge breakfast menu which sounds enticing but I have yet to try. I got their new Asian chicken salad and really enjoyed it. LOVE all of their dips, sauces and dressing, really my highlight coming here. Oh and the lemonade, cannot forget that, the light is just as good as the regular, I cannot pass it up when I come here, great company! read more

I don't usually review big chains, but I really wanted to note that this location gets awfully busy and all the employees handle it with grace. During my last visit, I did wait quite some time in the 2 lane drive thru (still one window though) but was given an apology for the wait. I quickly noticed how hectic it was inside and could see the drive thru camera screen with tons of cars lining up. I was still greeted kindly and given a smile at all times! Edit: Helen at this chick fil a location is an absolute gem. The hardest working, most considerate, friendliest employee I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She always goes above and beyond and she makes the experience here 100x better. The first time I tried Chick-Fil-A was about half a year ago in San Diego (blasphemous, I know), and I was really surprised at the good flavors and quality, considering it's still fast food. I tried the grilled chicken sandwich that fateful night. Since then, I've been to this particular location 3 times and have gotten the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Wrap, and the Grilled Chicken Nuggets (all grilled everything). Out of the three, I liked the chicken sandwich the best - the chicken is really juicy and flavorful. The wrap is okay - they're not as generous with the chicken and I thought the flavors were just okay. The grilled chicken nuggets were good but portion is really tiny - I got the 8 piece and I was still hungry afterward. For those of you who are not familiar with Chick-Fil-A, the set-up is a little different. After you order, the servers will bring your food out to you, and will periodically even come by and make sure everything is okay. The service here has been consistently good. Cashiers/servers are super friendly. Today, they accidentally gave me the fried/regular chicken nuggets instead of the grilled and they replaced it with the correct order, no questions asked (and with an apology). The line can get really long during lunch, but with the many cash registers, it moves pretty quickly. One thing I really like about Chick-Fil-A is that they are a lot more health conscious relative to other fast food joints, which I really appreciate. They are definitely more pricey, but I think overall the quality has made up for it. read more

The attention to detail and customer service at this location leave a lot to be desired. There are a lot of options to choose from eating wise, but sometimes you're just craving Chick-fil-A. It's right by UCI and so the crowd is younger. The service and cleanliness of this store is good. Usually they have pretty quick service and every time I've gone, my order has been correct and the people working there have been super nice. I came in earlier today to redeem a coupon I'd gotten in the mail offering one free breakfast item a month and received poor customer service after an issue came up with redeeming the offer. For background, I had come in the previous month, January, to redeem the same coupon. When I handed it over, the employee at the register informed me that, despite the coupon saying each item was only available during the specific month listed, I could take any of the three for free provided I only tried to redeem the coupon once per month during the promotional period. Following this explanation, I decided to get the Egg White Grill, which was listed as being a February-only item. I didn't think much of the decision at the time, because the employee had ensured me I would be fine getting any of the items listed on the coupon. I came back this morning ready to redeem the February offer, and tried to claim another Egg White Grill. The employee at the register told me that the coupon didn't go through because I had already received the item I was trying to get through the promotion in January. No big deal; that made sense. But when I tried to order January's item, she said, without trying to scan the coupon again to see if the January offer would go through, "That item is only available during January, so you can't get it." I proceeded to explain that, if I had been able to redeem the February offer in January, it would only make sense that I should be able to do the inverse as well. Instead of listening to what I was saying, the employee backed away with a "I'm gonna go..." and returned a few minutes later with a manager, who tried to understand my argument with just as little effort as the employee. She said "unfortunately" a lot, and tried with all her might to shift the blame for the situation onto me, rather than on the employee who had mistakenly told me in January that I could order any item I wanted during the promotion. In the end, the transaction took 10 minutes longer than it really should have, ending with the manager comping me the January item as a way to get me to leave, rather than as the result of her fully understanding the issue and admitting how her organization was at fault for the misunderstanding that occurred in January. I got the impression that both the employee and the manager were inexperienced, and wanted to shoo me away rather than ensure I was getting served properly. Not a great experience. read more

My favorite is the Chick-Fil-A sauce tastes like a mix of everything. Service is good. Most of the people working there are students who are really friendly. The words "my pleasure" is always in full effect as part of their customer service. For the entire month of Februrary, they were giving away free hot or iced coffee. It's hard to feel content after eating here unless I spend more than 10 bucks. Though, the customer service is great. The interior is quite large with many seating areas available, and after ordering, they deliver your food to your table. I've been here quite a few times, and it's pretty divine despite the price being a tad bit expensive (especially breakfast). The fries taste good and aren't too crispy or salty.
