Great experience start to finish. We were there about 1045 today. We ordered at the kiosk. The workers were readily available & answered our questions. The manager was great, he gave us a complimentary Strawberry lemonade, the new one with cold foam! It had a QR scan to review it & get $3 off next $10 order. Unfortunately, it's only at the local restaurant so we won't be using it but at least we got a few yummy drink. I order chicken avocado tacos, Mac & cheese. Went to the drive thru for the first time in a very long time and I was reminded why it's been so long. This location screws up my drive through order every time. I've literally avoided going here because of that. Tonight was no exception. I paid for but didn't get flour tortillas, I got two jalapeño peppers instead of two packs of jalapeño sauce packets and I repeated this several times. The problem was the woman taking my order, she wouldn't shut the fuck up. I use the app, which I told her, but instead of just letting me order she never shut up. Do you want a combo? NO I said tried to order tortillas but she interrupted me to ask if I wanted a drink, then as I was telling her what Salas I wanted she interrupted me yet again to ask if I want chips and guacamole..NO!!!!! The fact of the beginning, I told her I had the app should tell her it's not my first time to El Pollo Loco. I don't need her asking me 50 fucking questions about what I want. I know what I want. The chicken breast was so dry I could hardly swallow it and it had burned edges. Tasted like cardboard. They leave the chicken on the fire way too long. The pico de gallo seems like it's about 5 days old it's all tomatoes are all wilted in there it's not fresh. This is a recurring condition over many many months. read more

Last time I go here! I can't stand the self service ordering. I'm waiting behind people forever. The double chicken tostada is going further and further downhill. Went here to redeem my T-mobile Tuesday deal and I got the Chicken avocado taco and added a double chicken avocado salad. When I got there after 10am, it was already busy because they were packing for 2 big catering orders!!!! I ordered my food and had a little bit of difficulty on my end trying to add it to my app but glad I finally figured it out. My order came quick despite the 2 big orders ahead of me and the taco was actually pretty good, if you want a light snack this would actually be perfect. I came through the drive thru as I got a coupon in the mail. All of this food total was $13.35. Healthy and affordable!!! The double chicken tostada is my new favorite menu item. It is super filling and has great portions. They added a bunch of salsa in the bag and everything was wrapped to make it home (especially the chicken tortilla soup.) I like that they give you the toppings for the soup on the sad so it doesn't turn into a soggy mess. I also like that they put the dressing for the salad on the sad. If there's a healthy chicken option (not fried), just out of the grill, this is the place to go. At my age, I have to be careful with what I consume. "Can't have fried chicken as it's too greasy", my doctors says. Cooking at home has become difficult and time consuming, so this is my quick, don't cook it yourself meal. Ok. I would first like to start off that absolutely nobody was at the restaurant when I ordered and they still managed to mess it up. I asked for 2 double chicken avocado salads 1 without corn and pico and the other without corn. I received one with corn, ok bummer, but it wasn't a big deal. That is until i started eating away. The chicken was dry, like dry and the avocado was just disgusting. The avocado definitely wasn't even fresh. It looked as if they cut it in preparation and left it out for hours. Food is usually pretty high quality, however I just don't like how quickly they change their menu. Finally find something I like and it's gone in a couple months. Also went to use a coupon I had been sent in the mail and got all the way there and realized it expired yesterday 8/28/19 I asked them if they would honor the coupon and they said no. I want to give El Pollo Loco the 5 stars. I cannot believe I used Uber Eats again and I have explicit delivery instructions which were not followed today. I was calling and calling the delivery driver which would never answer and then I received message that driver had "tried to contact me" which was not true, I immediately called again and then I started receiving texts in Spanish. I do not understand Spanish and I finally went downstairs and found the delivery people. I only use Uber Eats if I don't feel well enough to drive a few miles to El Pollo and it is absolutely impossible to communicate with Uber Eats. This El Pollo Loco is nothing special but it is not terrible either. I come here only for the family deals when they mail me coupons which is pretty frequent. They have fast service, clean interior and bathrooms. This location is nicer since it was recently remodeled not too long ago. The workers are efficient and friendly, they always give me extra sauces and containers when I ask. The drive thru can be pretty busy during peak hours so I always come inside since service is quicker inside. Tip: download the app if you come here frequently to collect your rewards! read more
