Fast and attentive service. Waffle cut fries +1. Nuggets are kind of small, but an 8-piece with fries filled me up for ~$6. Dipping sauces galore. Sweet and spicy dipping sauce is bomb. Ranch is super creamy/thick. I don't go to chick-fil-a a lot. So this was pretty new to me. I love waffle cut fries so I'll probably be back. I went into chick-fil-a tonight, I ordered a milkshake, a small fruit bowl and chicken nuggets. I ordered at 7:54 and got my food at 8:27. It was not busy at all and many people who ordered after me got their food before I did. I asked multiple times at the counter if it was ready to which they repeatedly told me it wasn't. I finnaly went up to the counter where I was met with a black haired female employee with large gold hoops. I asked if my food was ready to which she replied VERY rudely replied it had been ready for a long time, which I knew it was not!! I recived my MELTED milkshake and ICE COLD chicken nuggets. Absolutely disgusting food and customer service! It was horrible experience that made me feel very disappointed as I'm usually a loyal customer. The service here has gotten worst.. food is cold and the employees don't care. You order one and get another. Fries cold no cheese on the sandwich. 95% of the time...patroning this spot is usually pleasant. The staff here are usually friendly and stellar but every time I go there, I dread being serviced by this one particular person (we'll call her "aIMee"). She is the only one giving haughty/smug/ arrogant vibes. She makes me feel like she can't be bothered or an unwelcomed guest. Ate here last Thursday afternoon for a quick late lunch. It wasn't that crowded as it was around 4 pm. I had the chicken sandwich with diet lemonade and fruit. I hate their waffle fries, they have no flavor or seasoning, so I don't eat them. Honestly, paying $12 for fast food: chicken sandwich, lemonade, and a few pieces of fruit is a total ripoff. Even if I got the fires, I would have still paid $10 for hardly any food. I wanted a light meal, but maybe next time I will go to Jack in the Box instead. This is the best place to get a chicken sandwich or chicken nuggets if you're in a pinch and near the Uc Irvine campus. Chick-fil-A always has great service and this location is no exception! The employees are always polite and give you what you want with a smile on their face. I come here once in a while and usually get the chicken sandwich meal with fries and the lemonade to cut the fat. Chick-fil-A sauce is a must! I never had Chick-fil-A before coming to this location and it definitely lived up to the hype. Their chicken is fresh, crispy and absolutely delicious. I also love that this location sends out coupons annually for free sandwiches and nuggets! Keep your eyes peeled for those coupons in the mail if you want to save a few bucks and eat here. All in all, Chick-fil-A is a great option if you don't want to eat the other two fast food options next to it as this is a healthier options and still just as delicious! read more

This is the worst chick fil a. They don't know how to run their systems and will waste 30 min of your time just to end up telling you that you need to go back outside and get into your car and go to their drive through window to get your food you already paid for, when your standing right in front of them in the restaurant. I've only had one bad experience - the biscuit was too soggy and was all crumbly... so crumbly that my chicken fell out of my sandwich! Other than that, I love this Chick fil A! Oh you bet your money that they catered to the UCI crowd. How? This is the most "new" and refined CFA that I've been to. It's classy and modernized, something that I haven't seen before. They even have a drive thru with passage for TWO cars so that you can get your food faster (Yep! The designer saw the In-n-Out drive thru and realized something else had to be done). They did an amazing job with the limited spacing that they had. When you walk in you have the registers in front of you, where you order what you want. I had the #1 and upgraded to large for an extra 50 or some odd cents. Then you take a number and you walk down this longgg row where you can choose wherever you want to sit! I went during the grand opening so finding a seat was kinda hard but not impossible. They have ketchup and straws and napkins in the middle (along with the napkins), but you still have to ask the student workers for CFA sauce haha. The food here is pretty much the same as other CFAs, so that's good that the quality at CFAs are the same. CFA also still trains their employees well, with their "My pleasure" and their happy attitudes that they give, catering to giving customers what they want. And yes. Really nice setup. They have lots of friendly people ready to take your order. We were at the front of a long line in less than five minutes. We were there at lunchtime. I was almost positive we wouldn't be able to find a place to sit inside, but I was wrong. It was a hot, humid day, and there was still plenty of seating inside. They also have a lot of outdoor seating. The point is, great place for lunch because you'll be able to get in and out of there quickly and find a place to sit!! Once you order, they'll bring your food and drinks directly to your table. We had our food in less than five minutes after ordering it. The biggest challenge will be finding a parking place. The parking lot was packed. There's a sign that says no University of Irvine parking, but I'm guessing people don't pay much attention to it and use the $10 they save on UI parking on lunch! read more

I am beyond jealous of UCI kids who get the option of eating here 6 days of the week. I don't know what it is about Chick-fil-A - the great customer service, the super clean ambiance, straight-up delicious sandwiches - that keeps on making me come back. It's the way many feel about Chipotle or In-n-Out. Even though it is technically fast food, or "fast casual" to some, there's some allure that makes it generally acceptable to eat. There will always be a place in my heart for the chicken deluxe sandwich, with the side of waffle fries, and unlimited refills of lemonade in my heart. Standard chick fil a located near UCI among the rest of the college friendly establishments. Parking isn't too bad in the evening but I'm sure during the day it may be a battle with all the other college kids. The associates are friendly and inviting and the food is exactly as expected from a chick fil a. Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and the fried chicken was juicy (never dry!) and the pickle slices complimented the sandwich very well. Also ended up getting some waffle fries which tasted freshly fried and had a nice crunch. The chick fil a sauce also happens to be my favorite sauce and you can ask for as many as your heart desires. Even though the line was long the cashiers are able to get through all the customers relatively quickly. The condiment and utensil area was fully stocked and there are plenty of associates behind the counter or in the dining area to assist you with your chicken sandwich needs. Overall, good location, great staff, plenty of seating, and a bomb chicken sandwich. read more

So, I had a complete misunderstanding here today. I want to apologize to the workers here, as I accidentally ordered a regular deluxe sandwich, which comes with american cheese. I sent it back because I thought I ordered a SPICY deluxe sandwich, and I was expecting to get the classic pepper jack cheese. It was HOURS later when I realized that I for sure said "#1 deluxe" hahaha *face palm*. The sandwich had american cheese on it because it was supposed to, not because they made any mistakes! Totally my bad. Shoutout to all the workers there who were extremely nice and accomodating, despite my total brain fart. It's been a long week of work and my brain is clearly ready for the weekend. Specifically, I wanted to shout out the dude with the long pony tail! He was so nice, and clearly takes pride in his job. He's very good at putting the customer first, even when the customer is clearly wrong lol. I come here every pay day and will continue to do so, hopefully next time ordering what I actually want. It had been a while since I had been to Chick-fil-A. I just did not think it was a big deal. I had a few people say that it had changed and try again. I decided to and came to this location. The only upside was that despite them being busy the line went pretty quick. Food was not ready once I got to window though. The waffle fries still tasted bad and once pulling the food out of bag it looked horrible. It did not look presentable at all. I did not find any great change, still just ok if even that. I also ordered the chicken nuggets. They were so small it was a joke. Just a little tiny bigger than a quarter!! Overall the food is not good but moderately average at best and overpriced for what you get. Never again read more

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Chick-fil-A but this location is horrible! As convenient as this location is because it is close to campus and it's open an hour later than the surrounding Chick-fil-A's (most of them close at 10pm) I won't go back here again! The food was lukewarm and seemed like the food they served me was cooked hours ago and improperly put in a food warmer to keep crisp and warm. Fries were completely stale. Imagine cold fries reheated in a microwave. That's a slight exaggeration, but it was pretty disappointing. The breading in the chicken nuggets were also not crispy and was soft and soggy. Maybe it was the fact that I went on a weekday at 9pm, but there's still another 2 hours before the store close! This locations brings shame to the Chick-fil-A name. read more

Super convenient place to get the classic sandwich. Quick service through the drive-thru and the employees were friendly. The food was hot...and to be honest, almost too hot. I wish they had given me more space (but doesn't take away from the stars). This location is close to Target and the UC Irvine campus, so I'm sure it can get pretty busy at times, but I'm glad it wasn't too bad when I was there. There's a huge parking lot to enjoy your food if you decide to go through drive-thru and don't wanna eat inside...but don't wanna drive off somewhere. read more

They keep getting my order wrong every single time when I come here it's really annoying.

Originally being from the south, I've been eating CFA for 30 years. Even before they had stand alone locations and were just in malls. In that time span, my go to has always been a nugget meal. I don't know who does the nugget cooking training at this location, but they are ALWAYS overcooked. I spat out half of my nuggets today because they were so overcooked you couldn't even chew them. I came by today to pick up an online order and I arrived 2 minutes late and didn't see my order, so I sat in the waiting area to listen for my order. Ten minutes passed and nothing happened. Walked up to the counter to try and get help and couldn't get any help. At this point, other waves of customers were arriving after me and getting their food quickly. 30 minutes of being ignored and I finally go to the register and tell them that my order is missing, and they say that it was probably taken by mistake by someone else and that they can't remake it for me. Unfortunately I'm not someone to complain but I had terrible service Friday 9/16. I mobile ordered my food and when a name was called out I asked the cashier who it was and he said Doordash. My 2 friends ordered inside and got there food before I djd. About 30 minutes I asked the cashier if my order came in, he said he had called my name twice (which is not true) my friends were with me waiting and didn't hear and he said he placed it in mobile area. So glad they have one near by campus. The University Town Center has lots of good food and Chick Fil A is one of my favorites. It's convenient when I want a quick bite, but doesn't leave you feeling sleepy. The staff are all super friendly and so is the owner. He and his family are very involved with the community, so don't be afraid to say hello. They have a variety of sauces and they're all delicious. My personally favorites are Polynesian, Chick Fil A, and the Sweet Sriracha. The Polynesian sauce is sweet, the sriracha one reminds me off thai sweet chili sauce and the Chick Fil a one is just good. Be sure to use the Chick Fil A app if the lines are long. It's convenient to use and saves you a bunch of time. You also earn treats. For drinks, don't be afraid to ask for refills! Also sometimes you might get lucky on your receipt. They give out free Chick Fil A sandwiches if you're selected to do the survey. The only downside to this location is the quality of the restrooms. The men's restroom had a not so pleasant smell to it. read more

I ordered pick up for a milkshake. Proceeded to order another order afterwards. Was told my milkshake was ready and it wasn't. I asked GILBERT for it, he went to check and came back empty handed. So I thought I'd kindly remind him. He goes back, after five minutes he comes out with the wrong milkshake, doesn't even remember me. I GET MY OTHER ORDER, WE FINISH THE OTHER ORDER.
