This Chick-Fil-A is located in University Center next to the bridge. It is very long and narrow, inclusive of the line which goes around a divider. The line was medium length. It took some time to get food, but it was good after it came out. It came out at a medium speed. It is possible to touch and battle the Pokémon GO gym that is the bridge from inside. There is also seating outside so one can eat outside and battle at the same time. Parking has limited time in this plaza. read more

Rude morning crew and a floor manager who will walk away without solving a mobile order issue. Seriously? This is the stuff that you can find yourself encountering upon walking into this 'fine' establishment.If you read some of the other yelp reviews, you'll notice they have a history of this. I submitted a mobile phone order for pick up and arrived to find blank stares and a floor manager who will not only help you NOT figure out what went wrong, but is rude enough to give you attitude before and after you re-submit your order. I spent 30 minutes in here trying to troubleshoot something a COMPETENT manager would solve in less than 5 minutes due to the untrained, uncoordinated and amazingly rude staff. Will I come back? Heck no. No only did I waste my time here trying to get something so simple as a sandwich ordered, which was COLD AND TASTELESS, I don't need the attitude of some of the rudest staff i've ever come across. Though I have had a mediocre review of the Harbor Blvd one in Costa Mesa, I have not had any issues here food quality wise. Line is fast as well here. I noted some people complaining about this location, but I personally never had any issues. I also come in the morning or before 7pm though. Staff has always been friendly as well. Of course who doesn't love fresh lemonade, fries, and chicken? Downside is closed on Sundays, which is a problem only if I don't remember what day it is. read more

I do not understand the hype about this fast food chain restaurants. I went simply because my Personal Health students insisted I tried, and all I can say is that I left feeling what a waste of money. The chicken nuggets were tasteless and rubbery, the fries were just ok, the salad was more like a bowl of cheap lettuce and tomatoes, and considering the overall food experience, I thought it was pricey for what you get, and too noisy. I am not into fast food in general, but if I am hungry and don't have time to prepare something, I would most likely choose a different type of food than this. Not my cup of tea at all. :( read more

Very disappointed. I love Chick Fil A however the last few times I've visited this location I've received mixed up orders. For instance, i went today and ordered a kids meal with a sweet tea. I upgraded the sweet tea to a medium only to find out that i was given a Coke instead. I don't drink soda so i ended up throwing it away. read more

How hard is it? I don't even know where to start. I've been to Chik Fila in Norwalk, Corona, Yorba Linda. Orange, Arizona, and I've been to this one 2xs. Both times it's like dealing with Mc Donald's. First time gave me the wrong dressing in drive thru. Had to park and go in. What's the point. This time girl seemed unhappy taking my order. The girl next to her took 4 orders and she was still on one. Taking mine 3 more went thru. I just wanted cold grilled chicken on my salad. It became an ordeal. I paid, got to the receipt guy and said they could not do the cold shredded grilled chicken. The options he gave were just, not even close. Said machine was broken. The whole thing was aggravating. I came here at around 9 AM and it wasn't too crowded yet. But my first thought upon entering the place was "WOW IT'S SO CLEAN AND MODERN." I like the atmosphere here -- great customer service, clean tables, flowers on each of the tables. Since it was the morning, I ordered an iced coffee and a breakfast sandwich. I ordered a large coffee, but it looks like more of a medium to me though. That's just me, because I love my coffee. The breakfast sandwich I ordered (forgot which one) was alright. The chicken was craaazzzzy salty though. Like damn, am I in the Dead Sea right now? (I have come across salty chicken in their breakfast sandwiches at other Chick-fil-A locations as well. It's not just this location). I ended up eating all of the biscuit and only 1/3 of the chicken. Other than that, I would come back for their original chicken sandwich and their fries. One of my favorite places to stop by for lunch. I usually come in for the deluxe sandwich or the grilled chicken sandwich, the food is absolutely amazing! I usually get a friend to drive me over to have lunch or he drops me off if he's got class later that day. The store is usually really clean which makes my visit feel a little more inviting. The workers are extremely friendly and patient even if it gets really busy. I'd definitely recommend anyone nearby to stop here to eat read more

Chick-fil-A usually has solid service but this one has absolute crap service. They've gotten the order wrong twice in the past two weeks, and they sometines take a long-ass time to get the order out. I spoke with a lead shift because people who ordered well after me were getting their food. (some Asian girl, forgot her name)... And instead of an apology, she gives the biggest attitude saying I wasn't around when they were supposedly calling my name (was inside the restaurant the whole time). And to top it off... CFA in the UTC! Lee's Sandwiches? Kaput. Apparently it was Mor Chikin time at UCI?? Yes, the old Lee's Sandwiches property was completely razed to make way for this brand spankin' uber shiny new Chick-fil-A. After many agonizing months of waiting, a new building sprung up, complete with a drive thru. Amazingly there isn't really any extra traffic congestion from this, either! The menu is the standard fare Chick-fil-A, so no need to talk about that here. The place is pretty much spotless at all times, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The owners are often working the registers or the floor, so you know that they are on top of things and run a tight ship. The sauces are smartly rationed from behind the counter...no telling how many millions in dollars of loss would be accrued if they left them out in a free for all with so many hungry students around!!! LOL Oh yeah, and watch out for the crosswalk where it juts across the drive thru exit!!!! (And make sure the rent a cop parking nazis don't see you walk over the bridge to UCI or they will tow your car away...lame!) read more

Chick-Fil-A is great, enough said. The number 1 combo with no pickles and a lemonade is my go-to order, but I am a huge fan of the tenders and nuggets. The sauces come down to preference, but my personal favorites are the Polynesian and Chick-Fil-A sauces. This location brings out food in a timely manner and the workers are extremely kind and hardworking. The bathrooms and store are clean, and the location is well maintained. They go back and they come back with the tray again. Then they go back, and they come back out with the tray a third time. Then the manager comes with the tray and I tell him that it is "to go" and he come back with the food in the paper bag. I thought maybe it was some bizzare joke and asked the manager why the staff kept bringing me my food on the tray when it was "to go" and he said it was, miscommunication. But 3 times?!
