I arrived there the next day and was told they have no order I would have to leave. I explained the above and told Karen MANAGER I had already paid for it. She said I have no record of your order and I could pay again but she didn't give food away for free. She told me this many times as I explained I couldn't leave without my order or my money. She kept insisting I leave. I told her to get the owner out of bed for we had a problem. I wouldn't unblock her drive thru till she did. I forced her to do that. A moment later I heard the cashier say Karen I found it. I moved my truck to the side and got my order. I started to leave but I didn't get an apology. I went back and asked for Karen and asked why I didn't get at least an apology for calling me a liar! She wouldn't. I called her a bitch and left. I will never go back!! read more

Great people work here and are dedicated to giving you a great experience. They are excellent with kids and families, and offer several fun nights (such as "Princess Night" or "Superhero Night"). I've eaten at several CFA's in various towns, and Joplin is by far the best. Of course the food is great - that is a given. So not surprisingly, I am one of those Chick-Fil-A lovers. I'll eat it whenever, any day of the week, any time of the day. It's just solid fast food, and I love the waffle fries the most. We have plenty of these stores all over Houston, but stopping by this one was awesome. Yum food as always, but the service was fantastic here. They had multiple people taking orders AND payments at the drive thru lines. The time went quickly, and we got our food quickly! My favorite thing about this location is that they have a guy standing outside (after you pick up your order) with a whole rack of condiments. I mean, really? There's a guy there to give you whatever sauces you need. Not only does it speed up the line, it's just cool. I really thought this was a great aspect of this location. Chicken is always tender not matter what you order! The waffle fries are also delish! My favorite dips are the Polynesian and the Chick-Fil-A sauce (a twist on honey mustard). The only negative is that many children are in the play area that should not be...and most of them are not supervised. I wish there were a way this was regulated because my toddler would love to play in there but she gets trampled from the 4-5yr olds that aren't supervised. :( read more

This place is tops amongst ALL the other "fast food" joints! Friendly, fast, fun, great atmosphere. Just all around great! A little price-y, but well worth it for how good the food and service are! Downfall, if you don't make it a point to buy all of the toys for your child(books, crafts, etc.) your child WILL miss out! Our son truely loves reading Dooby Dooby Moo, one in a series of 6 books, but because I didn't get ALL of them, it's the ONLY book he's got. It's well worn and I've attempted to repair it, but we really should've gotten them all for him. Say what you will about their politics, we were looking for a quick bite on our drive from Ohio to California. It was raining a good bit since we were at the tail end of tropical storm Isaac, and there was a staff member standing out in the parking lot with a giant umbrella, walking people to and from their cars. Inside the restaurant, it was super busy, but the staff was working efficiently and pleasantly to take and fill orders in a timely manner. The food was hot and fresh, and we were on the road again shortly without much fuss. I did have to laugh a little about the Berenstain Bears book which came in the kids meal -- it was called "Sick Days" and pretty much was a full-length story about how much it sucks to be a stay-at-home-mom with a sick kid. This place is astounding. They can have 3 car lanes full and you still can go in and find an open register and get your food almost immediately after you order. I don't know how they do it. Love this, and all chick-fil-a's. I started ordering the chicken minis with a chick fil a sauce and a superfood side instead of the hash browns. The hashbrowns leave a funny taste in my mouth. Bold statement: this is the greatest fast food establishment in the world. One, it's Chick-fil-A, therefore it's tasty. Two, the service here is just delightful. Each person working there is so pleasant and cheery. They all appear to be legitimately great people. It was a pretty busy Saturday afternoon when we stopped in on our road trip. Multiple cashiers were quick to move people through the line. After a very upbeat and positive cashier took my order, I waited no more than a couple minutes. Another employee (maybe a manager), one I had not interacted with before, walked up with a bag and presented me my order with a "Hello Corey. Here you go sir, have a great day." The people at this Chick-fil-A really brightened our road trip. They have been the highlight of this particular 12 hour drive. Just terrific. I imagine Joplin, MO is a near utopia, based solely on those working in Chick-fil-A. So delightful. read more

This is the first time in 3 years I've actually been able to dine in a Chick-Fil-A! The service is so fast and good that there was not the usual line of 20 cars around the establishment. There were at least 6 helpers outside the drive through with usual smiles! On the inside, the employee wiped down all the tables and seats with disinfectant before all 6 of us sat down. The bathroom was clean, aesthetically pleasing, playing uplifting instrumental Christian music above, and it was amazing seeing people pray before their meals. Quite busy with families with lots of toddlers this Friday night but there were only a couple playing inside the indoor gym. My Cobb salad was awesome!! Tasted fresh with warm chicken pieces. This is the best Chick-Fil-a I've been to! Will definitely come again when in town!!! read more

This is a great place with incredible people. You should try it during their busy lunch hour just to witness the marvel of efficiency that is their process. They get absolute mobs of people through the drive-through in a speedy fashion and they're NICE, too! And the food's good, too. I rarely award 5 stars, especially to a fast food or chain restaurant, but this Chick-fil-A is deserving of such rating. The food is good, always good. The service is always extremely fast, efficient, and friendly... ALWAYS. The line at the drive through sometimes looks daunting but they are so efficient at filling orders that you almost proceed through without stopping sometimes. When I find myself at another drive through like Taco Bell or McDonalds (pretty much never) I always find myself wishing they had their act together even half as good as CFA. Yes, it's fast food, but the service is amazing, the bathrooms are clean and the food is good. My wife loves the Tortilla Soup when they have it (it's seasonal) and I'm a big fan of their Asian Salad. Hard to go wrong with the best chicken sandwich in the business though. This Chik-fil-a was the first building rebuilt after the May 22 tornado, and it's earned a lot of Loyalty for that reason.
