The reason you go to chick-fil-a is for the chicken and sauces. I ordered 2x 12 PC chicken nuggets (24 nuggets) and a 3 PC strip. They only gave me 2 ranch, 2 chick-fil-a sauces, and 2 Sriracha. I asked for two more, so no one had to share, and the manager said there is a limit on sauces. That's funny because the one in Chula Vista doesn't have a limit. Went today for fries and a drink. I always order my fries well done because otherwise, they are never crispy and always a bit soggy. I was informed that they no longer do "well done". I asked why and was told it was the manager's decision. I also ordered a large diet Dr. Pepper. Needless to say, I guess they don't do carbonation anymore either. No wonder this chick Fil A has such bad ratings. I've never had a bad experience at a ChiCK Fil A in all my 20 years of visiting this chain all over the U. S. The manager Andrew was so oddly rude. We came 15 min before breakfast needed and asked for a regular chicken sandwich. They said no that they cannot serve lunch early on weekends (the drive through line was small with 4 cars in it). I said I understand because I've been told in the past that it takes 15-20 minutes to cook the lunch chicken filet and that it's bigger than the breakfast chicken filet. Totally fine. So I asked to order the chicken biscuit sandwich but swap the biscuit for the regular bun (because they don't have to cook a bun for 20 min). They rudely told me know. I saw the workers ask a female manager in the back and she rolled her eyes and said no. There were 4 employees standing there doing nothing the whole time this took place by the way. The manager Andrew then rudely came to the window and said they can't serve the bun (that they will be serving in 15 minutes) because they have to prep it. You can still deliver bad news and be a decent person. There was no reason to smirk and laugh at me as he said it. I totally understood issue with the lunch size chicken and nicely just asked for a breakfast size and to swap the bun (for my son who hates biscuits). I've never had a problem or rude customer service at chick fil. Mind you, the 4 employees and the manager that were standing in the back ground of the window stood there the whole time doing absolutely nothing. I never thought a chick fil a could be horrible. Worst location, horrible customer service and horrible "management". Their system messed up and lost my mobile order. I had an active pending order on the app and a receipt as proof that they saw and scrolled through themselves, but one of the girls asked to see my bank statement for additional proof. They still wanted me to pay for a new order because she couldn't have "an upside down drawer". They're more concerned with money than taking care of their customers. I like Chic-fil-A But, I just ordered and received a FREE Delivery. I looked at the receipt and compared it to the Menu online. EVERY ITEM was marked up, considerably, on the receipt. At 6:45pm on July 10th we ordered $55.00 worth of food for a family party online so that our order was accurate for both our party and easier for the restaurant to be prepared. When we arrived the drive thru greeters wer very nice and friendly while the cashier and crew were only mediocre. Anyway, when we arrived home we passed out everyone's food orders and were shorted two sandwiches, leaving two of our guests without there dinner and causing me to make something g for them as I couldn't go back to the restauramt during a party that was hosted by me. I called the store to report incident and they said they couldn't help me without my order number, especially because it was Cow Appreciation Day? What about customer appreciation day? What about customers who spend $55 dollars. REALLY? You couldn't look up by my online order? REALLLY? ? You couldn' look up by time? REALLY? You couldn't look up by large dollar amount? REALLY?? I usually never have any problems getting chick fil a sauces (I get 5 each time I go) but the people in the drive thru were giving us an extremely hard time. There was 3 of us in the car and we got 2 separate orders (because 2 is the max you can get), and the worker told us we could only have 6 chick fil a sauces. That obviously isn't enough for 3 people. Since we were getting 2 separate orders, it would make more sense to get 12. I tried explaining it to the associate but I could tell he really didn't even care and he just threw in 2 more sauces when I complained about it. So about five months ago I ordered a chicken sandwich from this location while I was pregnant and got food poisoning. While I was totally turned off from it, my four year old loves the nuggets and I figured it was probably just bad luck that I got some bad chicken. Today we waited in a crazy long line to get her the nuggets and Mac and cheese she's been asking for for the last five months. She went back inside and came out a few minutes later handing me a small box full of free vouchers for sandwiches, salads and sides for future orders and said thank you for your service!! It was really unexpected and I was in shock and didn't know how to respond but said thank you.. La Mesa is its own community and this Chick-fil-A enhances that. Compared to the other Chick-fil-A, they continue to hold the corporations standards. The staff are always polite and very nice, I enjoy coming to this location. The only con that I could think of is the simple fact that Chick-fil-A is insanely popular and with popularity comes long lines. The Chick-fil-A staff always breeze through the line and provide with exceptional customer service and a smile that leaves you with the impression that you're the first person they've served that day. The food is always flavorful and cooked to perfection, I've had Chick-fil-A on several occasions and the food has been tasty each time. My favorite item on the menu is their spicy chicken combo, I always tend to get an extra order of waffle fries because they are just that darn good! Second time, last time. I ordered a Southwest salad along with an ice tea, both were disappointing. The salad was good for the first two bites, then I found a 2.5" X 1" piece of grey plastic in the mix. It was a label off of a shelf marked "raw sugar." The ice tea was all tea and no ice, which also fell short. Oh well, I was hoping this was going to be a lunchtime spot for me but I think not. Me and my family have been going to Chic-fil-a for about 5 years here in San Diego County. The go-to locations for us have always been the one in Santee and the location at the Sports Arena. When we found out that one was opening in La Mesa we were excited. This location is closer to us than the others. Since opening we've gone here MANY times, several of those times was when it just opened. Our order was a little wrong a couple times, or we didn't get any sauce, or no bacon on a club, they never ask you for sauce, etc. I figured it was new store growing pains. Sure, no problem. Sad to say, to this day, orders are still getting messed up consistently at this location and this is still the only location that doesn't consistently ask you if you want condiments/sauces. We go here once a week at the least. Tonight I got frustrated enough to finally post a Yelp review. Sorry Chic-fil-a. :( I ordered a Large Deluxe #1 with a Sweet Tea and a small fruit cup on the side, with the condiment being BBQ sauce. When I got to the window they repeated the order as a Large Deluxe #1 with a Coke and a small fruit cup. I corrected the employee, he then comes back and asks if I still want the fruit cup. I say yes. He says sorry. I was confused. He then hands me two large drinks, Coke and sweet tea, and the receipt says I got two beverages and no fruit cup. Like what the heck. I wasn't charged for the fruit cup, that's cool, but I'm just tired and annoyed that 1 of 3 times I go here something is wrong. I arrived at the location at 5:43 and had to stand in line to be helped because I the cashier ignored me when I was standing at the counter.
