I've consistently gotten rotten lettuce in my salads here. For 10 dollars you would think the lettuce would at least be fresh. I took a very long break and decided to give it another chance. This is the worst Chick-Fil-A I have ever been to. I live in Leland so of course I have tried it multiple times and every single time there is something that goes wrong. I'm always missing something from my order (this NEVER happens at any other Chick-fil-A). Today I sat in like for over 20 minutes. There are two lines. My line took forever, the other line had multiple new cars that came way after me and they were getting their order taken before me. Multiple cars came and went before they got to me. And what's even more wild is that I had a mobile order. Other Chick-Fil-A's have a mobile order line that makes things run much more smoothly and I get my order usually before I even make it out of the line. Leland Chick-fil-A could take a page out of surrounding Chick-fil-A's book. Not to mention the food is never as good. read more

I've been coming to this Chick-fil-A for a long time now, and here are my thoughts. This Chick-fil-A is pretty much always busy, making the drive thru about 70% of the time slow. Food is usually quick to come out once you get to that point, but there's a lot of congestion in the ordering process. Inside is clean. Clean bathrooms, tables, floor, etc.. Line is also constantly long on the inside. (P.S. This Chick-fil-A has a play place). This issue has been resolved but for a while my order was constantly wrong. It was either no silverware for Mac and cheese, or a forgotten straw, etc.. At one point they only gave me mayonnaise, instead of Chick-fil-A sauce and ketchup like I ordered. There was a brownish and gooey substance in the middle of the chicken for a while that left a bad taste in your mouth, but that has been resolved. I've never had any problems with the Mac and cheese. Fries are a gamble. They are either soft and hot, or hard and cold. You never know what you're gonna get, but they are always salted well. Lemonade is good as always. This is an average Chick-fil-A, in the end it's either excellent, or pretty sad. Make sure you check your bag before leave the drive thru. 3 stars here. read more

We usually eat lunch about once a week at Chik-fil-A and today we stopped in on our way to Wilmington at the Leland CFA. We noticed the back was busy with lots of folks but there was only one lady working the register inside. After waiting more than five minutes for our order to be taken ($20.88 for two sandwich meals) we searched for a clean table even though inside dining was fairly empty the tables were not cleaned. My husband tasted his fries & found them to be extremely salty while mine had no salt; I tasted one of his & went to the counter to get a new order. An older gentleman pleasantly asked if he could help & I told him the situation & he said he'd take care of it. A few minutes later he returned to our table & said the manager would not give us new fries because half of the ones were eaten. You cannot imagine my surprise! I immediately got up and asked for the manager & the gentleman that followed to the counter went to get her. She came out, smiling and asked what my problem was and I explained to her that exactly three fries were missing from their little box (my husband ate one, I ate one & one was on the tray with our food) and I wanted new ones. I stood there for six minutes waiting & finally a young lady approached & asked if she could help me; I explained I was just waiting on fries; she immediately walked over, put fresh fries in a bag and handed them to me. I returned to our table & 8 minutes later the non-smiling manager came over w/new fries. I told her someone had already given them to me & thanked her. She walked away mumbling. All of this over a box of fries! Advice here: This Chik-fil-A is never friendly and very seldom clean. Today was the last day we'll be visiting this location - just drive south to the one at Shallotte where they actually extend the CFA friendliness and courtesy. Note to owner: Offer re-training to this manager or continue to lose business. read more

Yay! There is a Chick-fil-A in north Brunswick County! Currently the drive-thru is the only option during the COVID crisis. It moves predictably slowly, even with two lines and helpful masked employees taking orders at car windows. And this was at 10:30 AM, so I can only imagine what the lines are like during more "normal" lunch hours. Was it worth the wait? Absolutely. One of the things I love about Chick-fil-A is its consistency. Wherever you go, you get good product. Love those waffle fries! And they mix a mean Arnold Palmer to boot. read more

This is what to expect: side salad half the weight and just a few pieces of cheese, fruit bowl half portion( half weight) and chicken portion is around 50% smaller- all compared to Raleigh. we brought this to the managers attention and he said all portions we had was completely normal - for this location only. Manager did not want to exchange, although eventually he did and somehow found the right size chicken portion, the correct size fruit cup and the correct salad. hmm. Hope CFA can do an announced spot visit and order through the window to correct problems with the manager and owner at this location. read more

Declined credit card, huge orders etc. You'd think they'd ask another employee to take the next person in line. But nope! Manager cleaning an appliance, employees chatting it up.. And no Chick-fil-A sauce after waiting in line for 20 minutes? Unacceptable! Overall, I love their Christian beliefs as well as the food. I love their food and redeeming points for free food. When everyone shut down at 9 pm during COVID, they stayed open until 10 pm. Staff is always friendly and service is usually fast. Our order is always correct also. Thank you for staying open a little extra late & coming to Leland!! read more

I absolutely love chicfila. However this chicfila is pretty awful. The lines are out of control. And they absolutely have no direction. The parking lot is so dangerous. It's a one way people try and cut to get to the parking lot, but the drive thru line is so bad it has no good direction. One time I went the girls at the drive thru were talking about a McDonald's breakfast. I'm sorry but that is honestly terrible service. Chicfilas brand is about customer service and their core values. However, the staff is underwhelming rarely say my pleasure. And some days I went for breakfast they aren't even open. I have visited the "new" chick-Fil-a at Monkey Junction for both breakfast and dinner since they have re-opened. The new drive thru is awesome and the curb side pick up is amazing! The hot chicken minis for breakfast were warm and fluffy. Very tasteful! I also received a frosted lemonade for free for my birthday. It was just tart enough and refreshing! I love that you can customize a family meal of sandwiches or nuggets with waffle fries and a wonderful creamy macaroni and cheese! The cookies are healthy as well as phenomenal with oatmeal and chocolate chunks! It is a great meal! I can't wait to eat in the newly remodeled dining room! read more

I will go out of my way to get Chick-Fil-A. I was excited to finally get a Leland location closer to work. Since it's opening, I have given this location so many chances. There is always a line wrapped around the building and only 2 curbside pickup locations. I tried inside mobile pickup and waited 10 minutes by the register while every associate behind the counter literally ignored me and none of the 6 people waiting for their food received theirs before I finally canceled my order and left. Today at 2pm, the line is wrapped around the building again and they've shut down curbside pickup. Why this location can not get it together to serve as efficiently as others, I don't know. At this point, I can drive across the river, get food, and be back to work faster than going here. I will now go out of my way to avoid this location at all costs. read more

Went through the drive thru on Saturday evening and got my two sons dinner, we got home and they sat at the table and started eating their meals and one of them holds up a cheese wrapper that was in his spicy chicken sandwich! The whole wrapper was laying on top of the cheese and he had bit into it! I tried calling the store and I was put on hold and hung up on. The following day I sent them a message through their Facebook web page and I could see they read it but didn't respond. I also sent a picture, I sent another message asking if they saw my message and if they were going to respond. I was answered by someone saying they had tried to reach out to me and that the person responding doesn't handle complaints but she would forward it to someone else. So I tried responding back saying how could they call me without having my phone number and I hit send and an exclamation point comes up! They've blocked me! This is unbelievable!
