I went to the drive-through and asked if the buy one whole sandwich get second for five dollars promotion was still available and I was told yes , so I ordered two whole sandwiches and I didn't realize till I got home that I was charged the full price. I immediately called the store and spoke to a manager who said that promotion was over two weeks ago . I think they should've done something because I was given wrong information and I told her that's the only reason I ordered two sandwiches was because of the promotion she didn't offer any compensation and didn't even apologize for the mistake. I don't think I'll be going there again. read more

Fantastic service. Was asked to go in and get a light roast coffee for my aunt. The cashier was friendly and I asked if they had light roast. She got a pot from the back that was labeled "light". I don't drink coffee so I trust her. Definitely will be returning. read more

my bagel was the at Panera. It wasn't stale or hard. I was given a real knife to spread my butter and cream cheese. I have never had a , I always get a plastic knife that bends and breaks in my hand when you spread the cold butter. read more

Food was great as usual. But Karen, the cashier was very rude, interrupting my wife many times as we were trying to order. It is not the kind of service that we get at the Paneras in Wilmington, so I wonder if it is a reflection of management. By far the nicest Panera we have ever visited! It has a unique modernized spacious decor with some high-top counter seating; different from all the many other Panera's we have visited. The bathrooms were immaculate! Service by the pleasant courteous staff was great! And.... our soup was fantastic! I just ordered a cobb salad and then I went to pick it up to eat at home. I live just a few mins away. When I took the top off the salad and added the dressing I noticed it looked old. I took a bite and the lettuce was old and limp. The taste was awful. Some of the meat had fat on it so I had to spit that out. I have been to these places all over the place and this place was the worst I have ever been to. Skip it . It is not worth it at all. read more

Terrible management with abhorrent people skills. I was let go recently; rules were applied differently to certain people. Cursing among workers was rampant. several times, clearly subpar food products were sold to customers. Everything was firmed up when it was inspection time - other times workers would routinely eat in the back and leave partially consumed food all over. Another major disappointment- there is a "recycle" bin In the dining room. The items could be recycled but ARE NOT! Disgusting, misleading, and environmentally terrible. I have gone to Panera for years and at this particular location, quality and quantity of food keeps shrinking. Just paid over $12 for a sandwich with seven pepperonis on it. Panera Bread restaurant is a very nice addition to our neighborhood here in Leland, NC. The service is superb (fast & pleasant), the food is very fresh and tasty. Healthy food options are readily available. I rate them 4 stars only because I feel they are bit pricey for the service portions. I would give another 1/2 star because they always appear very clean and well kept whether we eat inside or use the drive thru. The Corporate Panera office must clearly have forgotten about this Panera in Leland, NC. Our sandwiches were terrible mostly because the bread was not fresh. We were so hungry to eat something. Otherwise, we would have asked for a refund and went elsewhere. read more

Okay, so I used to work at a Panera in VA..and this Panera, blows me away. It has a much more open layout then what I'm accustomed to. Lots of variety for seating! It has a country-chic vibe to it sort of, with the white backsplash tiles & the natural elements/color-scheme. Lots of natural lighting as well. Every time I have gone in, the staff seem relaxed and pleasant. Also, really loving the new pastries this season!They have come so far with their chocolate pastry! It's my favorite, with the orange scone making a close second. But honestly, I could eat all of those pastries. Because, yum. Anyways, I think the service, ambiance, & food flavors is worth the price here. It's a great location to just sit back & relax. read more

Very clean and presents well. I ordered a ham egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a roll - it was not very tasty and the service was not very friendly. They called my name and threw my sandwich bag on the counter. The place was not busy but no one seemed to care enough to be friendly. I order my sandwich to go and when I paid. I was given the option to tip - I don't understand that concept? I guess i prefer privately owned deli over chain restaurant. read more

I keep trying to give this location the benefit of the doubt because it's new, but it is so extremely hit-or-miss that I cannot give it anything other than 2 stars, and that's probably generous. I don't often rate chain restaurants but this was worth the time to rate because it actually was a very clean and well-kept location. Food was warm and came out tasting excellent. The staff were attentive to wiping down tables and clearing plates as needed. We enjoyed the Modern Caprese sandwich, Lentil and Quinoa bowl, and Corn Chowder with the bread bowl. All great choices. A great healthy option for a quick road trip stop. read more

I keep going back hoping it'll be different, but my order is messed up every time. I ordered a family meal for curbside pick up. It came out to the car in 3-4 minutes (I had ordered about 15 minutes prior to my arrival.) That was good. Got home and the salad had onions (I typed in special notes for no onions on anything). Also, my salad had lettuce with brown spots. Maybe something I'd eat at home, but not something I expect a restaurant to serve me. Then I realized one of my 4 sandwiches was missing. Really?! I went back the next day to get the missing grilled cheese. I was able to lift the slice of bread off the cheese- that's not a grilled cheese. I ordered a medium iced coffee at the same tine and specially requested with cream and sugar. When I went to the counter to pick it up, it was the color of coke. I asked if it had cream and the girl gave me a look with attitude. She said "no" with a tone. I told her I had requested it- she got approval from the employee beside her to add it (I hadn't touched the cup yet). She literally threw it on the counter and didn't respond when I said thank you.
