As we were finishing up our meal the manager brought a cup of ice cream to our table. She said when they have a "white screen" meaning no current orders they give away an ice cream. Chick fil a is a fast food chicken giant. This particular location is off outer loop road near the Jefferson mall in a super busy okolona spot in Louisville Kentucky. Like all chick fil a they have above and beyond customer service. Just cutting edge with the way this franchise operates. Like other chick fil a when the lines get long (always at this one) they have workers in the parking lot taking orders to live the line. This location gets so much traffic that it's actually a slower moving location. But still much faster then other franchises would Handle that sort of traffic. Like other locations this one has the fun play place inside for the children. I've taken advantage of this a few times over the years. Personally I enjoy chick fil a. They have a great chicken sandwich and my kids love there chicken nuggets. Overall nice location that does the best it can. Trying to get in off the main road was ridiculous! Even if you're not coming to Chick-fil-A you can't even get into the businesses. So we drove in through an opposite road past the strip mall stores. I only indulge in the chicken craving when I have a coupon through the CFA mobile app. [If you haven't downloaded the app, I highly recommend it! You can order food through it and fast track your pick-up, like speed of light fast.] My last encounter with the chicken-y temptress was a couple of months ago when my app informed me that I had a free Chicken Nuggets voucher to redeem. The indulgence before that was on September 28th and stemmed from receiving a free chocolate chunk cookie by ordering through the drive-thru between 12-1 pm. Duh, yes. I arrived today to find the drive thru line backed up out of the parking lot nearly into Outer Loop. I pondered leaving and going somewhere else as I was pressed for time on break. My instincts steered me correctly...I literally was in line and out of the parking lot on my way within 6 minutes! I left Chick-fil-A knowing several things...one being, my order is correct! The store is kept very nice and clean even when it's full of customers especially on the weekends. You don't have to stand very long to either order or get a drink refill which is amazing. On the food side we all know how incredible their food is. I typically order their grilled chicken sandwiches, grilled nuggets, and their fruit cup and it all tastes very fresh and delicious. Their fruit cup is a little expensive but I feel like a million dollars and a clean shave (I hate shaving) after I eat one.
