Yikes. This was my first ever experience with Chick-fil-A and it couldn't have gone any worse than it did. We do birthday lunches at our work and my coworker decided Chick-fil-A because two of us in the office haven't ever tried it before so we were all very excited. We ordered online, it was someone easy to order and make modifications as needed. Didn't realize it was a 20 minute drive to go pick up but that's okay. We originally started on DoorDash but it doesn't allow modifications so we decided to pick up. My coworker went to go pick it up, came back to find out we were missing one of our coworker's meals... so I called and confirmed they did miss it and offered a credit but considering this is a work lunch... I had to drive back to go get it. Meanwhile, I got a text from my coworker saying we were missing 3 people's salad dressings... so I went to get those too. Once I got there, no one would look my direction to assist so I stood there awkwardly until I finally spoke up. They got the lady I talked to on the phone prior, gave me the missing salad and knowing better, I checked the bag and of course missing the salad dressing. Glad I checked. I have picked up food a few times from this Chick-fil-A and have never had a bad experience. Drive through is much quicker in my opinion even during peak hours than walking in to get takeout. Mobile ordering is perhaps your best bet for getting in and out even more quickly. I have never dined in but I have walked in once, and the interiors look bright and clean at a high level, but my visit was too brief to take a thorough account of a true dine in experience. Food is always well prepared. Staff is prompt and polite. Lastly plenty of parking around this location. It is part of a prime square with many popular commercial establishments, so surroundings are clean, well maintained and safely accessible at all times. It is also very centrally located to Lynnwood. After driving past the Chick-fil-A on the corner of Highway 99 and 196th Street Southwest in Lynnwood for over a year, I finally decided to stop today (Tuesday 19 November 2024) to get a sandwich for lunch. The drive-thru was easy to navigate and relatively spacious. The menu was clearly displayed by the voice box. Worker(s) via the voice box and who took my payment/gave me my order were jolly in tone/demeanor. I went with a spicy deluxe chicken sandwich and Chick-fil-A sauce. My total with tax came to $7.95. Eating in the parking lot, I made it in time to see a worker painting/decorating window(s) in a Holidays theme. The chicken was well cooked, bun perfectly domed, vegetables (tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles) fresh and crisp as applicable, and the Chick-fil-A sauce tasted a bit like a tangy honey mustard sauce. Up front it was filling, however I was surprised that maybe an hour later I was hungry again. I was second in line on opening day years ago, I love this chick fil a!!! This location is amazing since it's about a half mile from my house. All of the staff is so friendly and the drive thru moves very quickly!!! You don't have to wait long. All, and I mean ALL of the workers here are so friendly! none of them are ever in a bad mood. The order is always right. Hot and fresh. Chick fil a is the only food establishment who gives free food. Either on a gift card for waiting an extra 5 minutes for your order to be cooked or just because. They also have free breakfast tuesdays/ Thursdays only at this location depending on the week. Check their Facebook. No purchase necessary. What other "fast food" place is doing this??? none!!! They really care about their customers and it shows in the customer service and quality of the food. Which is hard to come by nowadays. Also I love all of the condiments are free, i'm a sauce girly. They don't judge you if you want 5 ranch, and Polynesian sauce or more. Most places charge 25 cents or higher per sauce. Not chick fil a !!! they understand. Love it. Mobile ordering is easy and hassle free. They accept apple pay too. The rewards system is the best because if you have 10k points, you can use all of those points in the same transaction if you wanted to, there's no limit, to get 5 items or more for free just pay tax. Mcdonald's on the other hand, you can only use one lousy $4 reward per transaction which is a nope from me! They have the best chicken around. I am sad though their pretzel club sandwich is seasonal. The dijon mustard it comes with is to die for! I think the pretzel club should be a permanent menu item. I'm not a pretzel person at all, but it's just wow! Prices are also reasonable for the meals and good portion sizes. I am definitely full after medium/large sandwich meal! This location is bigger than the one closer to me that I usually go to. I'm used to seeing lines out into the street and/or parking lot at the Chick Fil A closer to me, but there's enough space here to avoid it, making it easy to get in and out. I made both a mobile order and ordered at the counter. Both times my orders came out almost immediately. The only thing I had to wait for was water. Even though the orders were ready so fast, they weren't sloppy like I've seen at some other fast food places. The bathroom was also huge, which is surprising for a fast food place. I could only find one trash bin (automated), which made me wonder where the recycling and possibly compost are. Not sure if they stopped recycling and only have trash now. read more

I started out in the drive through but it was moving slowly. I backed out and came inside instead to ensure I could get breakfast at 10:20am. No one was in line, and I ordered only a chicken biscuit. There were flowers on the counter that I assumed would be put out on tables since those were bare. I waited about 10 minutes for my order. This location sucks. They're never busy, but they're slow and will probably screw something up. Both my visits were through the drive-thru. First time, they forgot half my order. I had to drive back and go inside to tell them- defeats the purpose of using a drive-thru. Second time, the dude-fil-a came out and apologize for the long wait time. He said they were making the grilled chicken. I get home and they forgot to put the CHICKEN on both my grilled chicken club sandwiches. How do you forget the main ingredient? You can't get a better chicken meal and it's the best value around town. Three chicken strips are a little over $6 dollars. Some places now are charging almost $4 dollars for one piece and its not a good as Chick-fil-A is. The chicken is perfectly breaded and juicy it's never greasy. They have a drive thur and offer walk in as well. When you dine in they offer refills on your beverages. It's a great place to bring your friends and family. The dine in area is very clean. This company cares about the community they are closed on Sunday that way their employees can spend time with the family. If I could give a zero star review I would. I ordered a lettuce wrapped spicy chicken sandwich for lunch today. Unfortunately, half way through eating the sandwich I saw a large chunk of "MUD" that was clay like on the lettuce. I immediately was nauseated and felt ill. How could they serve unclean food to their customers? This is a major health concern for the general public. I sure hope that I don't get sick. I went back and told the manager immediately. Avoiding this establishment for years due to CEO, Dan Cathy, and the 3K establishment"s "history" on and with their LGBTQ issues, I went because corporate grew a conscious--just do an internet search--to the point that the southern Right Christians are now boycotting them now, gave me the opportunity to try it. To me, it seems as though Chick-fil-A went to SoCal and fell in love with In-N-Out. From having two teens standing outside, in pretty much In-N-Out uniforms to take my order (right next to the traditional order marque menu and shout at the screen) personally--even though I was the only one in line) to the architectural ascetic vibe of In-N-Out to the rather lean focus menu, it was interesting. Even though HQ At-"Hotlanta," G-A, they were going for SoCal and the OC. So I order the way over-priced traditional chicken deluxe sandwich. Basically a glorified fried chicken patty with shake and bake and a slap of cheese on top. It was fine. But this isn't any better than any fast food chicken sandwich. Maybe the over-pricing is to pay employees better, or go to now non-discrimination causes like funding school programs and initiatives (yeah, right. What corporate funds schools?). But truthfully, this isn't the In-N-Out of white feathered animals. I must be missing something. It can't be nostalgia--as if it's Dick's Burgers in Seattle--since it's rather, relatively, new to the PNW (as far as I know). Please let me know what I am missing. If you don't want to celebrate their new policy positions, or are willing to pay more out of pocket for the experience of not having an experience (which must be an experience), then recommend, do I, in the meantime to just grab a chicken sandwich from McDs, Wendy, or anywhere else. This is the 2nd time we tried Chick-fil-A checking out the new place on corner of 196th and Hwy 99. Plenty of parking. Ordered with app, went in and scanned number on table. Got served in short amount of time. Food was hot. Chicken sandwich was tasty, but bit too salty for me. Fries were delicious, but would be better if cooked longer for crispiness. The place was clean. The only complaint was the sweeping during my meal. Is there a way to do it without bringing up the dust? Anyhow, overall was a good experience. We'll be back. I hopped in the drive thru to pick up lunch and came to the decision that I will only go to this location if I'm short on time. It's only a few blocks from me, but their service needs a LOT of work. I'm used to the OTHER Lynnwood location across I-5 (ya know, the one that is MUCH better), but this one is more convenient. The wait was very long even to get to the person taking the orders as there was only one lane open. Someone finally opened the second lane but I didn't have a chance to scoot my car over there before the car behind me raced into the lane. So... I waited. Then when I was able to order, I gave her my phone to scan and she said that she'd already closed it out and it was too late. After this was the comment of "I always forget to do that." And then she told me that I can get credit for my meal by entering the info online. When I got home I pulled out my receipt to enter the information and I was literally rendered speechless. They've probably been doing this since they opened and I honestly don't know if the other Chick Fil A does it too, but I was charged an 8 cent bag fee! Wait, what? In Washington State, bags are 8 cents, so I get it but then I don't. This is a restaurant! No one is going to bring a reusable bag with them and tell the employee to put their sandwich and fries inside. I mean, it's 8 cents so it's not a big deal, but then again it is. It makes me curious as to if other restaurants are doing this as well. Honestly it kind of soured me on this place a little. So now I'm going to go on a mission to see if other restaurants are charging the 8 cent bag fee. If so, I might start eating at home more often, just for the principle of the thing. read more

We had to wait for service as there was only one order taker/cashier working the front counter. During this time, there were 5 employees standing around, just behind the counter, with their backs to us, talking amongst themselves. None of them acknowledged us or offered to take our order. The girl working the front register was Tia. She was innatentive and was having casual conversations with 2 other employees while taking our order; one who was behind the counter clocking in or out for a break and one in front of the counter standing next to us. As a result, Tia's inattentiveness resulted in her inputting incorrect food items into her POS terminal, and we received some wrong food items! The food was good as it always is at Chic-fil-A, but we should be able to receive the food we ordered and not something else due to the carelessness of an inattentive employee. Despite the other CFA location on 196th having cherry coke, this location does not. This location also has a nicely covered drive-thru order area, which helps keep employees out of the rain or direct sunlight on hot days, as well as helping to keep drive-thru customers dry while ordering. We won't be coming back to this location however due to the inattentiveness of our order taker resulting in us receiving the wrong food order, and this restaurant not having cherry coke like the other 196th street CFA does. Is it really too much to ask to receive the actual food we ordered??? read more

Visited the new Lynnwood location, this complaint is about condiments, we spent over $40 at the drive thru on chicken sandwiches and chicken strips expecting the Honey Mustard Sause we asked for, when we got home, we found we were given 3 little packets of honey, as in bee honey, not honey mustard Sause, how could they make such a stupid mistake? honey don't go with anything we ordered, it was horrible eating our food dry with no sauce, it wrecked the whole meal, it is a bit pricey to eat here and I expect the correct Sause to go with the meal, I am very disappointed in the service we were given and have no plans to return over this after spending this much for dry food with no Sauce. One other thing what was with ripping me off for 8 more cents for a bag? that fee doesn't apply to restaurants, you flat out stole 8 cents from me. read more

This location stinks! It is nothing like the Chick-fil-A by Alderwood Mall. The service is worse, the food takes longer, and they've messed up my order on at least two different occasions. I like Chick Fil A overall but this location sucks. I keep going down because it's the best fast food option in the neighborhood. The last few orders drive through staff always missed things in my orders. It's on the receipt but not in my bag. One of those times both sandwiches were missing the top bun so if you order here make sure to open every box and bag before you leave. Ordered chickfila through doordash for a work meeting and they left out quite a few of our items. Our poor door dash driver said that he tried but they just left out part of the order and we got a refund for what we ordered but that's it. Door dash was kind and offered us a discount on our next order even though it wasn't their mistake. Chick-fil-A also messed up on all our custom orders and just gave us the regular items. I'm normally happy with chickfila so I'm not gonna give them a one star review but I have had a couple issues with my last few orders and hope that they'll be a little more on top of it. Its awesome when you're in store and they can fix things but not so much via door dash. More focus please. Love your food! read more

It pains me to put less than 5 stars for a Chick-fil-A, but this location definitely needs some work. I ordered through the app with my available rewards and shared my online order at the beginning of the drive through line and confirmed that I didn't have a balance to pay (all my items were rewards). So far so good, but that's when it went downhill. Halfway through the drive through, I was approached by the same individual who confirmed my online order and didn't have a balance came to me saying that I needed to pay an additional $6. This didn't match my order since it clearly showed every item as free, so they had to check in with their manager again. However, they came back out once again to state that I did indeed have a $6. At that point we went through the order item by item, and somehow their system had added an extra spicy chicken sandwich to my order. So finally, they went back again to get their manager to remove the incorrect item. Finally, we were at the front of the drive through line and hopefully things would be smooth sailing, but nope. We waited as 2, 3, 5 cars managed to get their food before us (3 of them who were behind us). The food runner also asked for my name several times and seemed to be confused as to why I wasn't getting my food either. We were asked to pull forward so that the card behind could get by, but it made no sense that our food wasn't available yet (not a difficult order, only 2 sandwiches, 2 fries, and a drink). At long last, a runner brought out our drink and receipt! But then she was confused as to why I'd don't leave after handing me the drink. And she clearly didn't know that we never even got our food. So then she went back to the kitchen to get our food and we were finally finished with the ordeal. Chick-fil-A always has great customer service, but in this case, there was a ton of areas that were lacking. Hopefully they can address some these issues in the drive through soon. read more
